Blade es una película cuya trama es simple ya que mucho de su poder esta en el estilo, personalidad, violencia, capacidad de batalla, armas y poses de su protagonista Wesley Snipes que se fortalece y queda en el corazón casi como un film de culto para los fans de super héroes porque este film es uno que con éxito logro mostrar sólidamente el universo de los comics y hacerlo mas real.
Me encantan los 90 no solo porque es la época de mi niñez y pude disfrutar de muchos films como este, si no que aun no éramos presos de la generación de cristal actual y eso es lo que verás en este film, bebe de un comic, sí pero eso no evita el tomar su trama que se basa en vampiros y reflejarla como lo que es, seres sedientos de sangre, mutilaciones, carnicería humana y piscinas de sangre dominan el film y en esa época lo podíamos disfrutar sin tantos problemas.
Un elemento a destacar es que se había avanzado mas en efectos visuales, dos escenas de batallas son fulminantes y una de ellas que es clímax no tiene nada que envidiar en coreografías a las actuales excepto por alguno que otro detalle coreográfico que reaccionan de mas los personajes, las escenas son visualmente potentes.

Así como también el hecho de que Frost tiene un objetivo a lograr muy insípido, ya el es un vampiro, entonces no capto su final y lo que quería porque me parece un desperdicio de ritual, queda muy en nada, el final es mucho show que quedo genial pero argumentalmente no impone y con poco análisis se cae, no se pide mucho del film pero ese detalle esta presente.
Blade un film adelantado a su época que se merece 7.5 chiquitos de 10 y que según muchos salvo el universo de súper héroes que conócenos actualmente en el aspecto empresarial porque se sabe por este film que los super héroes podían llegar a una audiencia y quedarse, un personaje de Marvel que logro llegar a la audiencia con su violencia, momentos de comedia, delirio por beber sangre, un protagonista de los pocos que hay el cual es el personaje en carne propia como Blade.

Lo mejor del film es cuando torturan al ser gordo horripilante vampírico llamado Pearl que trabaja para Frost, le colocan rayos ultravioleta y lo van quemando, Blade disfruta esto y nosotros también, de lo mas turbio en el film y lo disfrutamos gracias a los 90 porque dudo escenas así se puedan disfrutar así en el cine de súper héroes actual que es muy ligero, solo el oírlo gritar con su voz chillona por el dolor es extremadamente gracioso y los gestos de Blade, la cereza del pastel en la escena.
La escena introducción con ese demencial baño de Sangre donde resalta la vampiresa Racquel y Blade que destroza a todos en el lugar, es en ese momento cuando decimos que esto es Blade, el personaje de los comics en su estado mas puro hecho una persona de carne y hueso. Las coreografías en esta y última escena del film cuando el ritual se revela son de aplaudir, Wesley Snipes revela sus habilidades físicas y look porque su apariencia con tatuajes, ropa y lentes son imponentes.
Los detalles que critique inicialmente son los siguientes, hay un policía fiel a Frost al cual Blade golpea en la calle a plena luz del día y rodeado de gente como si nada, esto se pudo trabajar mucho mejor porque es evidente que golpear un policía en la calle es muy llamativo y no solo eso, lo hace alguien de color con ropas muy llamativas y sabemos que esto en estados unidos no sucedería, solo veamos las noticias, detalle muy menor pero resalta al ojo del que sabe como es el actuar de la policía americana y lo fuertes que son.
El otro detalle a criticar que sí es de peso es durante el ritual en el cual Frost logra su meta, adquiere lo que llaman La Magrá pero no entendí para que, solo para regenerarse, queda muy insípido este aspecto y tanta profecía, el elegido etc etc no es muy solido ese final, el combate sí que lo es, de hecho es de lo mejor pero argumentalmente no tiene peso porque Blade igual lo revienta y queda en nada todo ese esfuerzo para conseguir La Magrá.
Un film que queda en el conocedor de este cine de súper héroes que ahora brilla enormemente pero en aquellos tiempos les costaba empezar y uno de los films que lo logro con éxito fue Blade, muchas gracias por leer mi reseña.
