After watching Supergirl, the first question that came to mind was whether it was a better movie than James Gunn’s Superman, and I think both are on the same level as commercial popcorn flicks, which makes them lacking in mature narrative ambition 🍿🍿

Luego de ver SuperGirl, la primera pregunta que vino a mi mente es si era una pelicula mejor que la del SuperMan de James Gunn y pienso que ambas estan al mismo nivel palomitero comercial lo cual las hace carentes de ambicion narrativa adulta 🍿🍿
SuperGirl es un film estrenado este año en Cines la cual no pude ver porque me la quitaron demasiado rapido de Cartelera, primera vez que me pasa eso 😵💫😵💫, espere a que la estrenaran en HBO Max porque mi intencion es apoyar estos productos como debe ser, alli la vi y me parecio entretenida, tiene varios aspectos muy positivos que me encantaron, los cuales nombrare mas adelante en la Reseña pero percibo que su problema base viene desde Superman lo cual es algo que aun se puede corregir
Esta pelicula es un duro golpe con la realidad para muchos fans de DC y en especifico del Universo de James Gunn que repiten ciegamente lo bueno que fue SuperMan pero SuperGirl demuestra que los cimientos narrativos de lo que se quiere contar estan muy disparatados, demuestra que Superman no es un buen film y que no atrapo a las masas fans de DC y Audiencia General 🤔🤔

And I absolutely loved the justification for her unconventional behavior 🤩🤩—the story of her Kryptonian origins was handled so much better than that of her male counterpart. With her, I do sense a coherent family dynamic; unfortunately, it didn’t quite strike a nostalgic chord with me, but I do appreciate the mature narrative approach to a well-developed depression stemming from the loss of a family member—one that connects with the entire audience and actually works.... I think this approach should have been applied to Superman too, so that many more of us could connect with him
I enjoyed the visual aspect of her extraterrestrial adventure; it reminded me of Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars, but the irony is that the villains are lost in this whole extraterrestrial mix
Les comparto el Trailer donde pueden notar que el film tiene la intencion plena de ser alocado, rebelde y divertido, lo cual hago enfasis en que si lo es pero tiene un Villano absolutamente perdido, se desperdicia un buen actor y en esto me recuerda mucho a Marvel que hace lo mismo con la mayoria de sus Villanos totalmente olvidables 🫠🫠

Y me ha encantado la justificacion en su modo de actuar ordinario 🤩🤩, el relato de sus origenes kryptonianos vaya que fue mucho mejor manejado que con su contraparte masculina. Con ella si percibo una intencion familiar coherente, lamentablemente no me llego a afectar nostalgicamente pero si valoro la intencion narrativa adulta de una depresion por perdida familiar bien planteada que conecte con toda la audiencia y que funcione.... Este enfoque considero debio aplicar a Superman para que muchos mas conectaramos
Me agrado visualmente su aventura extraterrestre, me recordo a Guardianes de la Galaxia y a Star Wars pero lo ironico es que los Villanos estan perdidos en todo este coctel extraterrestre, de hecho hay tres extraterrestres que me encantaron mucho mas que el Villano principal y eso deja mucho que desear sobre un elemento tan importante en una historia de Super Heroes

The only thing I’d criticize is that the fake abs they put on him are way too obvious.... To wrap things up, I’d like to see better soundtracks that really define the character. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman has it, the Flash in Zack Snyder’s Justice League has it, Momoa’s Aquaman has it, and Henry Cavill has it—but with Gunn, so far I feel like none of them do
It’s a good movie to pass the time, and Krypto the Superdog’s origin was very well explained. It’s incredible how, in Gunn’s universe, the best thing he’s done is make the dog the least illogical part of the story they’re telling us, haha 😂😂. Jason Momoa actuando como Jason Momoa es una muy buena ejecucion de El Personaje de Lobo jaja 😂😂, de hecho me dieran una pelicula individual de el como Lobo y la veria jaja 😃😃, lo unico que criticaria es que se nota demasiado lo falso de los abdominales que le colocaron.... dime en comentarios si piensas igual, si son falsos pues considero no era necesario colocarle eso a Momoa, el en Natural con un puro encendido en la boca es 100% Lobo 🤩🤩
Por eso no estoy de acuerdo con la masacre que ha tenido la pelicula, tiene muchas cosas a destacar donde su fallo es de guion al no percibirse un conflicto verdadero y que Superman no logro generar el Hype necesario para que la gente se animara en conocerla, hay una niña que le acompaña en la aventura y nada me intereso de ella.... pero Lobo y la historia de origen para explicar la depresion que vive Kara, eso estuvo muy bien planteado 😌😌👍🏻
Ya para finalizar, me faltan mejores Bandas Sonoras que le den una marca al personaje, Wonder Woman de Gal Gadot la tiene, Flash en Zack Snyder Justice League la tiene, Aquaman de Momoa la tiene y Henry Cavill la tiene pero con Gunn de momento percibo que ninguno la tiene
Buena pelicula para pasar el rato y Krypto el Super Perro muy bien justificado su origen, increible como el Universo de Gunn lo mejor que ha hecho es que el Perro sea lo menos ilogico en lo que nos estan contando jaja 😂😂, animate a ver para estar al dia con lo proximo que se venga en DC 😁😁👍🏻
