Cada segundo que transcurre en la película es una proyección casi perfecta de lo que es el amor, como se desarrolla a través del tiempo y nos va afectando, sin caer en la cursilería extrema lo que mueve a sus personajes es su propia química, es perfectamente creíble por qué terminan forjando un lazo amoroso, pero también se comprenden sus tensiones, las diferencias en sus personalidades y por qué los llevan a discutir.
Harry tiene una actitud cínica y casi nihilista sobre el amor, es pesimista y afronta todo de forma fría, Sally, en cambio, es una romántica sin remedio, cree en el amor y en el efecto positivo que puede tener en su vida.
Ver la dinámica entre esos dos es oro puro, y todo es gracias al brillante ritmo de la cinta.
Aunque viéndolo desde una perspectiva actual, luego de tantos cientos de comedias románticas que se estrenan años tras años puede parecer que When Harry met sally no es una historia tan fresca, siempre tenerse en mente el año de su estreno y el contexto en donde se concibió originalmente, no es exagerado decir que creo todo un subgénero, capaz de narrar historias de amor con agilidad, buena comedia, y un juego interesantísimo entre el pesimismo y el optimismo.
Casa secuencia es icónica y divertida, y sin más que decir, es recomendable no sólo verla, sino hacerlo más de una vez.
