Stuck at my Mom’s, snowed in, watching Percy Jackson. Very short review today.

Percy is a human, learns he is a half-god, son of Poseidon. He moves to a camp where half-gods are protected and trained. He gets involved in a pending war of the gods, when Zeus’ lightning bolt is stolen, and he has to go on a quest to recover it.

It’s actually a lot of fun. The young cast is charming and funny. They are surrounded by some great veteran actors. The story moves and the effects aren’t half bad.

I enjoyed it.
