I am kind of fascinated by the fact that there are more "not-tentpole" films being made again, kind of a return to mid budget filmmaking in the studio system. At least I hope that's the case.
There also seems to be a move towards more musician biopics.
This one is Rocketman, and it is a biopic of Elton John, starring the guy from the Kingsman franchise. There is very little dialogue in this trailer, a combination of montage and musical fantasy that glimpses his life and challenges. I don't know what to think of it as a result but I think I am intrigued enough to want to see it.
