Había ido a Caracas a estudiar la carrera universitaria y unos amigos de la Universidad me invitaron a ir al cine, yo no sabía que película era, nunca había ido a ver una de terror, mi mundo era Disney, apenas tenía 18 años. Pero yo me hice la valiente y con aplomo dije vamos pues a verla.
I had gone to Caracas to study a university degree and some friends from the University invited me to go to the cinema, I did not know what movie it was, I had never gone to see a horror movie, my world was Disney, I was barely 18 years old. But I pretended to be brave and with aplomb I said, let's go and see her.
Fue mi primera película de terror que vi, años después leí que Viernes 13 era una franquicia de horror estadounidense que, comprende doce películas y llego hasta el hasta el 2009. La película apunta la historia del personaje ficticio Jason Voorhees, quién, siendo un niño, se ahogó en el Campamento del Lago de Cristal debido a la negligencia del personal del campamento. Años más tarde se rumorea que el lago está "maldito" y que el sale del lago a matar en ese día fatídico.
It was my first horror movie that I saw, years later I read that Friday the 13th was an American horror franchise that includes twelve films and went up to 2009. The film points to the story of the fictional character Jason Voorhees, who, as a child, drowned at Camp Glass Lake due to the negligence of camp staff. Years later it is rumored that the lake is "cursed" and that he comes out of the lake to kill on that fateful day.
En las escenas iniciales nos topamos en el Campamento en el año 1958. Todos reunidos alrededor de una fogata, dos jóvenes Barry y Claudette se alejan de sus amigos y se dirigen al establo sin notar que una persona los observa y termina asesinándolos.
Una escena donde una chica Annie, futura cocinera del campamento, pregunta por el camino hacia el campamento. Un conductor de un camión, se ofrece a llevarla. Se les acerca "el loco Ralph", un tipo inofensivo y les advierte sobre la maldición y que nadie sobrevivirá.
En el camino recogen a otro pasajero que no se le ve el rostro. Dándose una circunstancia extraña donde la cocinera termina muerta al tratar de huir del camionero. Siguen llegando más jóvenes al campamento.
In the opening scenes we run into the Camp in 1958. All gathered around a campfire, two young Barry and Claudette get away from their friends and go to the stable without noticing that a person is watching them and ends up murdering them.
A scene where a girl Annie, future camp cook, asks for the way to the camp. A truck driver offers to drive her. "Crazy Ralph", a harmless guy, approaches them and warns them about the curse and that no one will survive.
On the way they pick up another passenger whose face cannot be seen. Giving a strange circumstance where the cook ends up dead when trying to flee from the truck driver. More young people keep coming to camp.
Los muchachos se van a divertir al lago, mientras uno de los supervisores va al pueblo por provisiones. El personaje anónimo los sigue observando dándonos una óptica de intriga. Horas más tarde uno de los jóvenes escucha ruidos en una de las cabañas y decide investigar. Mientras una pareja de novios deciden tener relaciones en una de las cabañas. Mientras otro grupo realizan juegos cuando se desata una fuerte tormenta.
Comienzan a descubrir el primer cadáver de uno de los jóvenes desaparecido.
The boys go to the lake to have fun, while one of the supervisors goes to town for supplies. The anonymous character continues to observe them, giving us an optic of intrigue. Hours later one of the young men hears noises in one of the cabins and decides to investigate. While a wedding couple decide to have sex in one of the cabins. While another group plays games when a strong storm breaks out.
They begin to discover the first corpse of one of the missing youths.
Observamos gotas de sangre cayendo sobre su frente de uno de los jóvenes, su cara de asombro nos sorprende, cuando el asesino le traspasa el cuello con una flecha. Otro personaje muere al recibir un hachazo en la frente. Algunos personajes entran en pánico pero un grupo decide salir a investigar. Encuentran el hacha ensangrentada y se disponen a llamar a la policía, pero los cables de teléfono han sido cortados. A los pocos minutos también el asesino corta la energía eléctrica.
We observe drops of blood falling on the forehead of one of the young men, his astonished face surprises us, when the murderer pierces his neck with an arrow. Another character is killed by receiving an ax blow to the forehead. Some characters panic but a group decides to go out and investigate. They find the bloody ax and prepare to call the police, but the telephone cables have been cut. After a few minutes, the killer also cuts off the electrical power.
Siguen surgiendo muertes descubren el cadáver clavado con flechas detrás de una de las puertas. Ya solo queda una de las chicas viva. Trata de huir hacia la cocina y busca un arma y encuentra otro cadáver. Traba la puerta principal para sentirse a salvo. Nota a un vehículo acercándose a campamento cree que es otro de los jóvenes que regresa y sale a su encuentro, se encuentra a una señora mayor. Le muestra el cadáver de sus amigas a ella. La señora parece amable y le cuenta en cambio la historia de su hijo, Jason, ahogado en el lago debido a la negligencia de los encargados del campamento.
Deaths continue to emerge. They discover the corpse nailed with arrows behind one of the doors. Only one of the girls is left alive. He tries to flee to the kitchen and looks for a weapon and finds another corpse. Lock the front door to feel safe. Note to a vehicle approaching the camp, he believes that it is another of the young people who returns and goes out to meet him, he finds an elderly woman. He shows the corpse of his friends to her. The lady seems friendly and instead tells her the story of her son, Jason, drowned in the lake due to the negligence of the camp managers.
La chica temerosa trata de atacar a la señora con un cuchillo, pero esta escapa, regresando más tarde cuando trata de escapar en su auto. Pelean salvajemente, la chica toma un machete y la decapita con él.
Muy cansada y pensando que todo había terminado sube a uno de los botes y se queda dormida. Una figura sale del lago y la atrapa. Despierta en el hospital sabiendo que Jason continúa allí.
Nota /note
Mayor salto el que pegue yo en esa parte de la película, bueno creo que todos porque no esperábamos su aparición. No he querido ver las versiones siguientes de la película.
The fearful girl tries to attack the lady with a knife, but she escapes, returning later when she tries to escape in her car. They fight savagely, the girl takes a machete and beheads her with it.
Very tired and thinking that everything was over, she climbs into one of the boats and falls asleep. A figure comes out of the lake and catches it. She wakes up in the hospital knowing that Jason is still there.
The biggest jump that I hit in that part of the film, well I think all of them because we did not expect their appearance. I have not wanted to see the next versions of the film.
