Saga of Asgard

Hilda de Polaris is the highest authority in the country of Asgard, where cold air and ice reign, her position is that of representing the god Odin, and her job is to pray to keep the ice frozen and not to flood the rest of the world. Hilda was praying when a strange voice commands her to take the Sanctuary and rule the Earth. Hilda, who was against violence, refuses so the voice gets angry and puts a ring on her finger against her will; when this happens, Hilda's personality changed to a cold and evil, declaring war on the Shrine and awakening the seven legendary armor of the Asgard Warrior Gods: Thor of Phecda "Gamma", Penril of Alioth "Epsilon", Hagen of Merak "Beta", Mime de Benetnasch "Eta", Alberich de Megrez "Delta", Cid de Mizar "Zeta" and his twin star Bud de Alcor "Zeta" and the leader and strongest of the Warrior Gods Sigfrid Dubhe of "Alfa".

A few days later the Sanctuary is attacked by Cid de Mizar who seeks the head of Athena and quickly ends with Aldebaran, Jabu and the other Bronze Saints. Just before hitting Athena the Athenian Saints appear with their armor rebuilt with the blood of the Golden Saints. After an exchange of attacks with Seiya and Shun, where these are seriously injured, Cid decides to withdraw from the battle and wait for the saints in Asgard for the final battle.

Athena and the saints move to Asgard where they are contacted by Fleur, sister of Hilda, who tells them that Asgard is melting and if that happens many cities will be under water since Hilda has stopped praying. While they were talking, Hilda arrives with the Asgard Warrior Gods and tells Saori that in a very short time Asgard will melt, flooding the world. Saori realizes she is wearing the Nibelungo Ring, created by demons to corrupt the soul so they must take it off. Hilda retires to the Palace of Valhalla and Seiya, Hyoga and Shun go out to fight against the Asgard Warriors to reach her while Saori tries to stop the thaw, however since she is not the chosen one of Odin, she can only stop him a few hours before die.

Thor of Phecda gamma is the first to appear and faces Seiya who can not do anything against the strength of the giant and his labrys, even using the seventh sense only makes the warrior god fight seriously. Shiryu appears and tells him that they can only take the Nibelungo Ring from Hilda with Balmung's sword, which can only be invoked with the seven Sapphires of Odin, embedded in the armor of the warrior gods, so defeating them becomes a necessity. Seiya decides to continue fighting inspired by this and animated by Saori's cosmos thanks to which he increases his power enough to defeat Thor.

Midway Shiryu is attacked by Phenril of Alioth Epsilon, who commands a pack of wolves. Phenril hurts Shiryu's eyes and attacks him in conjunction with the wolves. With no other option the saint uses his fist to destroy a glacier and create an avalanche that kills his opponent, but succeeds, the wolves push him through a crack in the ice and Shiryu is unconscious in the background for several hours.

Hyoga is with Hagen who not only controls the cosmos of the ice, but also the cosmos of the fire, in addition owns resentment towards the swan since it loves to Fleur and this one has become very near the gentleman. Hagen takes Hyoga to a cave where there was magma, it was the only hot place in Asgard. Hyoga can not fight well due to the heat of the place and Hagen thus obtains the advantage. Shun suddenly hears a very beautiful but sad melody played by Mime de Benetnasch Eta. Both fight but the chain does not detect the god as enemy since it has inhibited their emotions since childhood. Shun is defeated although he even uses his Nebular Storm and only saves himself from dying thanks to Ikki's intervention. Although the fenix demonstrates greater power than his brother, the advantage still has Mime, but thanks to the illusory blow of Ikki the warrior god accepts that his emotional block is for having murdered his adoptive father although he wanted it. After understanding this, Mime and Ikki decide to fight as they should and the saint defeats his opponent with a single blow at the cost of being injured too, so Suhn must remain alone while his brother recovers.

Alberic de Megrez Delta guards the entrance of the palace and there Marin who tries to enter to face Hilda directly. When fighting, he catches her in an Amethyst shell that will slowly drain her energy to death. Seiya discovers what has happened but can not fight seriously since Alberich assures that if he dies nothing will free Marin. In addition the warrior god reveals to own a burning sword with the one obtains the advantage to him in the fight and finishes catching also to Pegaso. In the midst of this the warrior god confesses to know about Hilda's curse and that his goal is to obtain the sapphires and the sword to murder her and take over the throne of Asgard. Finally after tricking Alberich into using the Amethyst Shield, a technique that no longer had an effect on Shiryu, instead of the Unity of Nature, the Dragon Knight was able to defeat him with his Rising Dragon. Before the effort Shiryu falls unconscious, reason why his companions advance ahead trusting that they will reach them when recovering.

Shun continues his way inside the castle of Hilda and in the corridors of the palace he confronts Syd, the Guerrero God of Zeta with whom they had faced the beginning of the battle, after facing it and falling victim to his claws and his poisonous cosmos Shun decides use his Nebula Storm thanks to which he easily defeats him. While trying to follow his path Shaina, who was warned by Marin that the attack on Aldebaran was not carried out by Syd alone, saves him from an ambush by Arcor's Budd warrior shadow Zeta and twin brother of the god, though his attacks look similar to those of his brothers are worse, so neither Shaina nor Shun are able to defeat him, at which point Ikki arrives, before his presence, Budd reveals that he hates his brother because he was abandoned in poverty by his wealthy parents and for that reason his objective is the death of Syd to take his place, after hearing it Ikki attacks with all his strength and gives him a mortal blow, before managing to finish it a dying Syd intervenes stopping Ikki to protect his brother and that he kills them to both, but before this gesture Budd is unable to kill his brother, so he abandons the fight to take the body of Syd.

Seiya arrives at the great hall of the palace where Hilda and the last God Guerrero are waiting, which is Alpha Sigfrid Dubhe, who has a reputation for invincibility and shows him easily defeating all the knights, until the arrival of Shiryu, who at first tries to defeat him with the Final Dragon, but later reason that being also a dragon warrior would have a weak point similar to his own, so he takes risks and in a duel he manages to hit and mark the place of his heart where he had no defense, after this he commends Seiya that I finish it. Once fighting, it is easier for Pegaso with each attack to hurt Siegfried until he is defeated.

After this Sorrento appears a general of Poseidon, who gave the ring to Hilda, and who has the power of the cursed melody of the sirens, Siegfried realizes that everything is a deception, so it becomes part of the cause of the Bronze Saints surrendering their sapphire to Seiya and fighting Sorrento sacrifices himself to take him to space with a Final Dragon.

Seiya with the seven sapphires summons his supreme power and is granted the armor of the god Odin and the sword, already with her fight against Hilda and the defeat cutting the ring nibelungo freeing her from the curse, finally save Athena and go all to the place where Hilda was possessed; There they meet a strange hole in the dark sea and they realize that it is a portal to an underwater world, from that portal comes a perverse voice that is the God Poseidon who tells them that he will destroy the world by starting a new battle at kidnap Saori.

A month has passed since the great battle of the twelve houses and Saori, returns to fulfill its obligations as the heir and administrator of the fortune of Mitsumasa Kido. As such, he attends the party of the 16th birthday of Julian Solo who is the heir of the family of maritime merchants of the same name and whose relatives were also close friends of Saori's grandfather. In the middle of the party, Julian tries to propose to Saori to him to marriage but this one rejects his proposal leaving to Julian behind who seems not to take it well. That same night, a man dressed in armor resembling a triton bursts in to kidnap Saori and when he was about to flee, Aioria de Leo intercepts him and kills him, rescuing Saori.

As Aioria predicted, this was the first bullet of a new enemy to overcome. While this was happening, Julian, moments after Saori left him, noticed a strange glow nearby, approached to see what that was. When he sees suddenly, a trident which shines incessantly. At the time a mysterious woman appears who tells him that this trident belongs to Poseidon, god of the seas, who has reincarnated in Julian's body. Julian at first does not believe the story to the woman but immediately they both throw themselves into the sea and soon after Julian wakes up in what seems to be a temple at the bottom of the ocean. It is the temple of Poseidon. Shortly after this, a series of rains, tidal waves and floods devastate the world. Saori tries to investigate the origin of the phenomenon but soon the woman that Julian knew before appears before her. Her name is Thetis de Sirena, an Amazon who reveals the cause of the floods: the God of the seas, Poseidon who has returned to life, has occupied his legitimate position in the underwater sanctuary and has declared war against Athena and The humanity. When Tethis was about to take Saori away, Seiya, who was barely recovering from the battle in the battle of the twelve houses, enters the scene avoiding the rapture but then falls unconscious due to the wounds.

At that moment, Aldebaran de Tauro, who came in secret from the sanctuary, offered to take care of the Bronze saints who had not yet recovered from their previous struggle. Suddenly, Aldebaran hears a strange melody that catches his attention. On this occasion Sorrento de Sirena is the one who comes with the intention of kidnapping Saori and finishing the bronze saints who are wounded. But Aldebaran, despite being weakened by the music of Sorrento's flute, offers resistance, even to the point of breaking his eardrums in an attempt to not listen to music, but Sorrento tells him that his flute is special since its sound enters directly into the brain and not to the ears as the saint of Taurus thought who succumbs. At that moment, Saori decides to go to the temple of Poseidon to seek answers from the mouth of the God of the seas and his surprise is greater when he discovers that Poseidon and Julian are the same person.

In the last chapters of the famous saga of the anime the Saga of Asgard, when the domain of the Ring of the Nibelungs over Hilda is undone, from the sea a great wave arises that draws Athena to the underwater temple of the emperor of the seas: Poseidon. There seiya and the other knights face the 7 generals known as "Las Marinas", who each keep a pillar that holds the balance of their corresponding sea. After hard battles all the pillars are destroyed, but Poseidon has a surprise: Inside their bedroom there is a pillar that they can not destroy.

But uniting their cosmos the knights manage to break the pillar and lock Poseidon in the sacred amphora, giving way to a time of peace that would later be disturbed by the appearance of Athena's worst enemy: Hades.

The Marine Generals of Poseidon:

Bian de Caballo de Marino: is one of the seven marine generals that serve the god Poseidon, he is in charge of guarding the North Pacific Pillar. He is also the first marine general faced by bronze knights, his attack turns out to be very similar to Misty de Lagarto. He is defeated by Seiya who, after receiving his attacks and facing his defense, declares him the weakest of the golden knights he has faced.

Eo de Scylla: A warrior inspired by a mythological beast, in charge of destroying ships and in which he devoured men, he has developed an attack for every creature that makes up the body of Scylla. He fights with the knight Andromeda, in the end he is defeated by Andromeda's willpower and his ability to create defenses that adapt to enemy attacks. Although this gives him the opportunity to surrender, the knight decides to die sacrificing himself to defend his respective pillar.

Krishna of Crisaor: he is one of the Seven Marine Generals of Poseidon, he is in charge of protecting the pillar of the Indian Ocean, he is also the possessor of the legendary Golden Spear of Crysaor, which according to mythology was a gift from his father the god Poseidon and which was said to be indestructible since it could go through anything, is the only known golden warrior who has not developed the cosmos; Its power comes from the emission of energy from your chakras. Krishna confronts Shiryu, easily piercing his shield several times, but the dragon manages to develop the Excalibur technique that inherited Shura and thus destroy the golden spear of Krishna. Far from surrendering, Krishna used his Maha Roshini technique, until Athena showed him what the Krishna Chakras were, then Shiryu, using a last effort, used Excalibur and was able to defeat him.

Kaza de Leunmades: He is a knight whose armor is a salamander, he has the ability to read the mind, project illusions and suggest his opponents, thanks to this he can determine who is the most important person for his opponent, assume his form and suggest him subliminally so that they do not attack it by appealing to the appreciation they feel; manages to defeat Seiya, Hyoga and Shun, in the end is defeated by Ikki the Phoenix thanks to two advantages: his cold mind that allows him to attack even his brother ignoring his own emotions and the fact that Kaza took for granted that Shun was the point weak of the Phoenix, without going deeper into his mind as if to discover that he would only lower his guard against Esmeralda, his dead bride.

Isaac de Kraken: Friend of the childhood of Cignus Hyoga, who competed for the bronze armor of the swan. Isaac, who was straight and idealistic, holds a grudge against Hyoga after discovering in his youth that he was only interested in training to obtain the ability to swim in the frozen sea to rescue the body of his deceased mother. When Hyoga tries to reach her for the first time, Isaac must rescue him from underwater currents, but thanks to this, Isaac loses his left eye and arrives directly at the Temple of Poseidon. He decides to be the knight of Kraken when he learns that the knights of Athena have begun to defeat the Knights of Silver and Gold, thinking that these (Pegasus, Dragon, Swan, Andromeda and Phoenix) wanted to take over the Sanctuary. Hyoga initially decides to let him kill him as compensation for what he suffered, but after seeing that he tortures Kiki to try to steal Libra's armor, he seriously confronts him and kills him.

Sorrento de Siren: His armor is of a mermaid, he fights by means of waves that go directly to the brain, this technique is effected by means of his flute. It appears in the middle of the battle of Seiya and Siegfried in the Lands of Asgard revealing the true origin of the evil of Hilda de Polaris and its relation with the Ring of the Nibelungo that she carries. In the manga he confronts Aldebaran leaving him badly injured and permanently deaf, but he retires when Athena decides to surrender to avoid the death of his saints. Fight against Andromeda for the defense of his Pillar and although he has the advantage almost all the combat, is defeated by the Nebular Storm of Shun, who forgives his life. Thanks to this testifies the fight between Ikki and Kanon of the Marine Dragon, learning about the true plans of this General. During the battles against Hades it is shown that he travels with Julian Solo as his assistant.

Marine Dragon Kanon / Gemini: Kanon is the twin brother of the Saga of Gemini.
