Seiya is the main character of the series of manga and anime Saint Seiya and the Saint of Pegasus during the Holy Wars in the 20th century. It is the reincarnation of the past Bronze Saint of Pegasus Tenma and of Primer Pegasus, the first human to wound God Hades since the Mythological Era.

Galaxian Wars

When Hades is about to kill Seiya, Saori is released from the vase in which he was and protects his knights. Wearing Athena's Armor, Saori confronts Hades, but he is no match for him. In an attempt to protect Athena, Seiya gets in the way of Hades' attack and hits the god of the underworld with one last Pegasus Meteor, hurting Hades even more. However the Sword of Hades is stuck in the heart of Seiya and it collapses in the arms of Saori, while u Cosmos disappears. Finally Athena, combining her Cosmos with the rest of her knights, manages to destroy Hades by finally crossing him with his staff, finally ending the war with the god of the underworld.
