[](a2w1ra23r4a6w5raw2d1w2ar0awr4aw54ds5a4dwars)Seiya de Pegasus
Seiya is the main character of the series of manga and anime Saint Seiya and the Saint of Pegasus during the Holy Wars in the 20th century. It is the reincarnation of the past Bronze Saint of Pegasus Tenma and of Primer Pegasus, the first human to wound God Hades since the Mythological Era.
In the drama Do Cvindanja and in the anime Spin-Off Saint Seiya, Seiya was promoted to Gold Saint de Sagittarius. It is the successor of Aiolos as mentioned by Hyōga de Cisne in Next Dimension.
[](wa5r6a4r6a4wd2a1r423a4wd56ar1s35a4wr65s1rw5)Appearance
The shape of Seiya's hair is similar in the manga and anime, being short, bristling and pointed, just reaching the nape of the neck. It has wide sideburns, pronounced eyebrows, and a snub nose. He is of short stature, of similar size to Jabu and Shun, taking into account that his measurement of adolescent did not change for his adult form in the spin-off Saint Seiya Ω. In the anime, her hair is brown, sometimes with a luster in pantone and chocolate-colored eyes, while in the manga Seiya's hair is reddish, with pantone gradation in shades and reddish eyes. Similar to Tenma's version in the past, it shows an even more intense fire red hair. The tone of your skin is peach color. In the first anime, his skin was somewhat darker. In the production of the Hades Saga his color palette was modified.

Personality
It has characteristics of the typical eighties hero shōnen, being its main characteristic never to give up before any situation by more impossible or difficult that it seems, always in the name of the justice and the goddess Athena. Seiya believes in friendship and hope, is somewhat temperamental, impulsive, reckless and foolish sometimes. When he was small, Seiya many times felt afraid to continue with his training driven by the idea that his head was one more in the collection of Cassios before a possible confrontation with him (which would occur later when Seiya goes to obtain his corresponding Cloth) and also because of the existing discrimination in the Sanctuary with respect to the Asians, a fact that cost him a beating from his teacher Marin, but that also made him win the friendship of Aiolia, who encouraged him to continue with his training independently of what they thought of him, since his teacher was Japanese like Seiya.
A very important fact in the story is that Seiya has a personal motivation to become Saint: to reunite with his older sister Seika, from whom he was separated in his childhood by his own father Mitsumasa Kido, to whom he asked the favor that if he returned to Japan with the Cloth, allowed him to start looking for his sister, a goal that was renewed when he returns to Japan after six years of training and discovers that his sister has disappeared.
In Saint Seiya Ω, worthy of his new rank as the Gold Saint of Sagittarius, Seiya is more mature, having acquired sufficient experience of his fighting in the past. On some occasions, Seiya appears in Kōga's mind to give some advice to the young Saint of Pegasus. Seiya believes in the current Bronze Saints, especially in Kōga whom he raised with Saori as a "Saint of Light". Seiya also tried to save Kōga when he became Abzu's guest, where he demonstrated the tenacity and determination to fight him, even if he has to kill him.
Seiya has shown a bit of confusion by not being able to kill the goddess Pallas, but after Saori's determination to give his life, Seiya feels secure in having to do so. He also seems to have finally inherited the spirit of Aiolos de Sagittarius, and he proved it by launching the Atomic Thunderbolt, a technique he apparently inherited from the previous Saint de Sagittarius. Then Seiya's angry temper was again noticed, when Europe spoke badly of Athena. In the fight against Titan he confesses his true feelings, making it known that he does not fight because he is ordered, but because he wants it, and also confesses that he calls Athena by his name since he does not see Athena as a Goddess, but as Saori , a woman. In the battle against Saturn, Seiya guides the young Saints to keep fighting, showing once again the classic Seiya that never gives up and always gets up, where despite having destroyed his Cloth completely, he kept fighting the enemy until the last minute. At the end of the series, Seiya is shown very romantic and loyal to Saori, where he tells him that he will always be by his side.

to this family, and did not accept the insolence of Seiya against Ms. Saori Kido, and did not accept the insolence of Seiya against Ms. Saori Kido, beginning a rivalry that took place until adolescence where children were already They exchanged blows. Then, Seiya is chosen to be part of the group of children selected by the Foundation to which they send to different training places in different locations of the world in order to obtain a Bronze Cloth and obtain the title of Saint. In the process, he was separated against his will to take care of his sister in the orphanage. In a raffle to select his training place, Seiya was assigned the Sanctuary in Greece; cradle and origin of the Saints. Before leaving, Seiya makes a deal with Mitsumasa Kido, which was that if he returned to Japan once he had completed his training with his Cloth, he would help him to reunite with his sister from whom he was separated as a child.
[](5wa4r56a4wra54w21da2rw4a2s1dwa4r5aw1da2wr4a2s4wrar)training
Seiya carried out her training in the Sanctuary of Athena for six years under the tutelage of Marin, Silver Saint of Eagle, who was assigned her training since she was of Japanese origin, as was Seiya.
In the anime, Pope Arles personally takes Seiya with Marin, while in the manga he is a simple hooded man.
After six years of hard training, Seiya won recognition as Bronze Saint after defeating ten adversaries in the Coliseum of the Sanctuary. The final confrontation was made against Cassios, a disciple of Shaina, Silver Saint of Ophiuchus, whom he defeated making the first use of his technique, the "Pegasus Ryūsei Ken". When leaving the winner, the Pope of the Shrine gives him the Bronze Cloth of Pegasus.

Galaxian Wars
Once his task is completed, Seiya returns to Japan and the first thing he does is go to the Kido Mansion to see Mitsumasa to fulfill his part of the agreement that both made years ago. But big is the surprise of Seiya to learn from mouth of his granddaughter Saori that his grandfather died and that his sister disappeared a year after he went to Greece to undergo his training. Impatient for answers, Seiya listens to Miho's advice to whom he went to ask him about Seika's whereabouts and decides to participate in the Galactic Tournament with the hope that his sister will see him wherever he is and look for him.
Seiya participates in the Galaxian Wars and in his first fight he confronts Geki, the Saint of the Big Dipper. Geki takes advantage of the physical strength of his arms and immobilizes Seiya by holding him by the neck. Seiya, about to die suffocated by Geki's technique, manages to remember Marin's teaching (defeating the enemy in the field in which he dominates the most) and using his cosmos manages to defeat Geki by separating his arms and applying a rain of kicks.
In his second fight he confronts Shiryū, Bronze Saint of the Dragon. At first it is surpassed by its opponent because it has the strongest shield and fist among all the Bronze armor. However, Seiya, with a suicide attack, manages to get the Dragon himself to break his shield and his fist, which makes his Cloth useless. Because of this, they continue the fight both without armor. Finally Seiya defeats to Shiryū taking advantage of the weak point of the attack of the dragoon.
Seiya's blow stops Shiryū's heartbeat. Almost on the verge of death, Seiya saves the Dragon, hitting him in the back, with the same force as the previous blow. In this way, he manages to make Shiryū's heart beat again.
It should be noted that the rules of the Sanctuary prohibited the Saints from participating in combats motivated by personal ambitions, so from this moment, Seiya and the other bronze saints are considered traitors and persecuted by the other Saints of the Shrine.

In the final battle with Ikki, the golden armor of Sagittarius protects him from the violent attack of the Phoenix, while the shield of the Dragon, the chain of Andromeda and the cold air of Hyōga, help him to finally defeat Ikki. In the manga, after his defeat, Ikki reveals to Seiya that the one hundred orphans of the orphanage of the Graude Foundation are the children that Mitsumasa Kido had around the world with different women.

In this scene you see for the first time the very special feeling that is born from one to the other.
Later, being in the hospital for his injuries, he confronts Aioria de Leo for the first time, who was sure that Saori was a fake Athena. When Aioria wounds to Shaina to interpose this in the attack destined to Seiya, Aioria decides to retire for the moment. Before this fact appear Dio of Fly, Sirius of Can Major and Algethi de Hércules that had been commissioned by the Kyōkō Arles to watch over Aioria. This trio of silver saints would have ended Seiya, but for the sudden appearance of Sagittarius' golden armor who protects Seiya and defeats the saints in a fraction of a second; before this fact, Aioria can not ignore the situation and decides to confront him, Saori intervenes before the attack and Seiya protects her by stopping him with his hands. After Seiya (helped by the cosmos and the armor of Aioros) returned his attack, and the soul of his brother claims him for what is done, he begins to doubt that Saori is not the real Athena and returns to the sanctuary. After his arrival at the 12 Houses, Seiya defeats Ptolemy de Flecha, who had already fulfilled his mission of stabbing Saori with a golden arrow in his heart. The Battle of the Twelve Houses

In this saga, Seiya and Shun are the first to descend to the marine world with the hope of rescuing Athena from the hands of Poseidon. There they meet the Tetis mermaid and with the marine general Dragon of the Sea; although they do not really know who he is and both go to the pillars.
Pillar of the North Pacific Ocean: The first Marine General he meets is Baian, who uses a defensive technique based on the humidity of the air and the rotation of his hands. Seiya is dominated at all times by Baian and his techniques, putting Seiya in serious trouble, but Seiya manages to remember his confrontation with Lizard Misty. And due to the similar fighting style between Misty and Montaner Baian, Seiya manages to pierce his defense. Seiya moves on, and discovers that after his armor was repaired with the blood of the Golden Saints now Pegasus's armor can reach a strength similar to the Golden Cloths when Seiya reaches the level of the Golden Knights, and it is thus as Seiya is finally able to defeat Baian.
But the challenge is not over yet, because the pillar is too strong and no Seiya technique works, even Baian when he dies is not worried that the pillar is unprotected. And when Seiya was about to risk his life to destroy the Pillar, Kiki arrives with the pound armor, helping Seiya successfully destroy the pillar.
Pillar of the Antarctic Ocean: Seiya continues on his way, this time reaching the pillar of the Antarctic Ocean, where apparently there is no general. But that was the strategy of Kasa de Lymnades, who was waiting for him under the image of Marin de Águila, confessing to Seiya that she was his sister whom for so many years he had been looking for. Seiya falls in the general's trick and is defeated.
Temple of Poseidón: After the defeat of Kasa by Ikki, Seiya advances until the temple of Poseidón and faces Julian Solo, that uses the power of Poseidón. Poseidon shreds Pegasus's armor, even though it is covered with the power of the golden knights, until the soul of Aioros sends Seiya the Armor of Sagittarius to be able to fight.
Still wearing the golden armor of Sagittarius, Seiya can not hurt Poseidon and every arrow that Seiya throws him returns to himself, which continues even when his friends are present hurting Shaina and Shiryu in the same way. Until finally, with the united cosmos of Seiya, Hyoga, Shiryu and Shun the golden arrow manages to hurt Julian and the knights manage to pass their guard. Even so, the arrow has only awakened Poseidon's still-sleeping spirit and now confronts the knights with all his power. Joining his cosmos with that of Shiryu (protected by the pound armor) and Hyoga (protected by the armor of Aquarius) Seiya manages to stun Poseidon and make him momentarily lose consciousness, at that moment Seiya and the others try to destroy the Central Pillar with pound weapons but this time they are useless.
So Seiya asks Hyoga and Shiryu to throw him against the Central Pillar in order to rescue Athena and they do so. Finally and before a stunned Poseidon, Seiya manages to rescue Athena and destroy the Central Pillar, thus causing the collapse of the entire marine temple. Poseidon is furious but before he can attack Seiya, Saori wakes up and confronts the god of the seas.
Manga: Seiya prepares to shoot a golden arrow at Poseidon, but Athena stops him, telling Seiya that Julian Solo should not pay for Poseidon's crimes, so she faces the god and, after being saved by Kanon from the Trident of Poseidon , encloses it again in its vessel releasing Julian.
Anime: Seiya is exhausted after releasing Saori so that Saori faces Poseidon and after a confrontation between the gods Seiya is restored to save Athena from the Trident of Poseidon. And finally Athena encloses Poseidon.

After an arduous battle, Thanatos shows Seiya that her sister Seika is in the sanctuary protected by her friends. That gives more strength to Seiya, who is now rescued by his companions who have also reached the Elysian fields but are all defeated.
With the help of Poseidon, the Golden Armors reach the Elysian Fields and Seiya wears the Sagittarius Armor, but for a very short time, as it is destroyed by the Terrible Providence of Thanatos technique. When Hades is about to kill Seiya, Saori is released from the vase in which he was and protects his knights. Wearing Athena's Armor, Saori confronts Hades, but he is no match for him. In an attempt to protect Athena, Seiya gets in the way of Hades' attack and hits the god of the underworld with one last Pegasus Meteor, hurting Hades even more.
