Ikki de Phoenix
**_Ikki is the Saint of the Phoenix constellation. It is characterized by having the most aggressive and violent cosmos among the Saints. He usually walks separate from the rest of the Bronze Saints, but always appears opportunely in times of need. He considers himself a lone wolf who does not want to walk in groups. Although it was introduced later than the other four main Bronze Saints, Ikki's role in the story is quite significant. He serves as the first antagonist of the series that the other saints must defeat, as well as a powerful ally later in the series.
On the CD Drama Do Cvidanja, Ikki was promoted to Gold Saint of the Leo constellation, after the Holy War against Hades. In the same way, Leo's Kaiser also recognizes him as his successor.

Appearance
**_Ikki is a young man of rude and serious appearance, has short blue hair, like his eyes and a perpendicular scar that goes from his forehead to his nose, as a result of having dodged the blow that his old teacher sent him and with the one that ended up killing Esmeralda. In the sleeve, originally his hair was black and in the Next Dimension it is reddish-brown with dark shadows. His eyes are dark brown. His civilian outfit consists of a blue sleeveless shirt with two diagonal stripes located parallel to the shoulders, a crimson red trousers and brown shoes.

Personality
*As a child, Ikki was known as a tough guy and more often when it came to defending his younger brother. The personality of Ikki is drastically different from that of his companions, it is the opposite of his younger brother Shun who is calm, gentle, affectionate and very emotional, while Ikki is hard, cold, aggressive, and a very lonely person. They are a team of complementary styles.
All this is because Ikki was trained harshly and was instilled with the ideology that only hatred provides power, which seemed not to have influenced him much until forgiving the life of his teacher, his beloved Esmeralda died and his hatred that until then he was locked in his being was released to reveal his origin as son of Mitsumasa, who could not be avenged because he was already dead. This attitude of hatred only maintained it during the stage of the black saints, after that it was only a serious, solitary character and although "aggressive" and did not overflow so much hate.
Even though he does not like teamwork, he comes to fight every time the Athena Saints need his help, and he was often seen coming at the last moment to save his younger brother and friends from certain death . This tactic has always been exploited to their advantage, as it surprised the enemies by fighting against them. Ikki is a warrior who fights without restraint even when his enemy is a woman.
Although Ikki likes to stay alone he feels great devotion and love towards his brothers and his beloved Esmeralda, and as he confesses to Caça, this is what gives him the strength to keep going. He is a noble, complex and mature character, who is not questioned whenever it is necessary to sacrifice his life for his friends.
In Saint Seiya Omega, his personality has remained intact. His Cloth does not change either. True to his attitude, he does not hesitate to reprimand Koga and the other Bronze Saints of the 21st century for their softness and lack of coolness to protect Athena from the forces of evil.

After the birth of his younger brother and the (deductible) death of his mother, Ikki carried Shun through the streets of Tokyo, until one night he had a meeting that marked his life to be pursued by a girl. Little Pandora went to Japan with the mission of introducing the soul of Hades into the body of Shun. Ikki is not afraid and resists as Pandora attacks and manages to defend Shun, although his memory of this incident was erased from his mind.

As an "orphan" he was welcomed along with his younger brother Shun in the orphanage of the Graude Foundation, owned by Mitsumasa Kido. Where he would establish his first bonds of friendship with the other candidates for knights (his half brothers in the manga) but always showing a serious and protective attitude towards his brother.
Particularly Tatsumi resented his rebellion, which came to the surface when it came to his brother Shun and especially when it was decided his training place, because Ikki decided to take the place of Shun to be sent to Death Queen Island which Tatsumi he did not tolerate and decided to punish Ikki for his insolence.

*Ikki was trained on the Island of Queen Death, and had Guilty as a teacher. There he met Esmeralda, who worked with an old man from a nearby town (in the anime he is the daughter of his teacher), with whom he establishes a friendship and they end up loving each other.

*After six years of hard training, and the inculcation of hatred as a source of power, Guilty challenges Ikki to combat, giving him one last chance to obtain the Phoenix armor. Ikki surpasses his master, but stops before delivering a fatal blow, due to devotion and respect for him. However, Guilty's frustration with the attitude of his student, makes him launch a blow that was aimed at Ikki and he manages to dodge it, unfortunately the blow kills Esmeralda almost instantaneously.
Enraged by the death of his only love, Ikki awakens hatred from the depths of his being and attacks his master without contemplation, finally ending his life. In the manga, before dying, Guilty congratulates Ikki and tells his student about his origins so that his hatred is consumed at its maximum point.

The rescue of the Phoenix armor
*Manga: While Guilty was dying, he told Ikki that he should go and claim the Phoenix armor, which was already his by right, from the Black Saints who had taken it. So Ikki goes into the Island of the Death Queen and fights against the four Black Saints of the Swan, Andromeda, Pegasus and Dragon to which he defeats. He then confronts Jango, the leader of the Black Saints, who retained the bronze armor of the Phoenix. Ikki defeats Jango and you see for the first time the armor that recognizes him as the Bronze Saint of the Phoenix.
It is at that moment when Shaka of Virgo appears on the island, and explains to Ikki that he has come to eliminate Jango, due to the evil activities of the black saints. However, he scoffs at the fact that the task was already done by a bronze Holy novice. Ikki, enraged by the disdain, attacks him but Shaka shows him the difference in level between them. Ikki humiliated by the defeat, asks him to kill him, however, Shaka does not agree because he manages to see that goodness still exists in Ikki's eyes. Then, he erases all the memories of this encounter from his memory and threatens to tell him that if they see each other again as enemies, it will remind him of the fear he felt at his power.
Anime: Ikki instantly wears the Phoenix armor and later goes on his own to the Island of the Queen Death, and there he confronts and defeats Jango and a Black Phoenix.
