Andromeda Shun
**_Shun is the Bronze Saint of the Andromeda constellation and one of the protagonists of the series. It is characterized by its pacifist personality, its delicate nature and because it does not like to hurt other people. He has great power, but his gentle disposition and kind nature tend to stop him from using it at all, until he is forced to do so. He is the younger brother of Ikki, the Saint of Phoenix. Shun is the human who possesses the purest soul, and that is why Hades chooses him as his guest.
In the spinoff of Saint Seiya Episode G - Assassin, Shun was promoted to Saint of Gold of the Virgo constellation and is dedicated to practice medicine.
In the CD Drama Do Cvidanja and in the spin-off Saint Seiya Episode G - Assassin, Shun was promoted to Gold Saint of the Virgo constellation.

Appearance
**_Shun is a young man of fragile appearance, besides being together with Seiya the youngest of the group. Since his presentation, he has said that he is a very attractive young man, because the girls who were in the Galactic Tournament coliseum shouted for him. In the series, his appearance has never been mentioned again, except for the strange comment by Algol de Perseo when he confronted him saying "cute boy", but it is evident that his features are inspired by his guardian constellation, Andromeda, a female constellation. His hair in the sleeve is light brown and in the anime is green, his eyes are a dark turquoise. When he is under the possession of Hades, his hair turns black and his eyes change to a lighter shade. He has a peaceful personality and detests fights, so much so that he is always wounded for fear of hurting his enemies and sacrificing his life to save those of others. In Omega, Shun chooses to become a doctor, which is quite logical because of his generous nature. However, he did not hesitate to risk his life to help a loved one, helping Kōga and Ryuho, although when he turned on his cosmos he could die.
As indicated in his profile on Toei's website, it is ironic that the dark wound he finally received allowed him to realize his dream of a life without fights.
Already in the Saga of Pallas, Shun is shown protecting the villagers, as a child named Ray, where he agreed to give his life in exchange for Ray's brother being released from Chrono Delayed, he also says he has no wishes to fight, but when they play with the feelings of others, he himself makes his heart like a demon.
In his battle against Surt, like his legendary companions, he is willing to risk his life, provided the new Saints grow, however he proves himself to be more strategic and wise in battles. Shun was trained on the island of Andromeda, having as a teacher the silver saint Daidalos of Cepheus (in the anime: Albiore of Cepheus). There he met June, who would later be the Female Saint of Chameleon and with whom he establishes a close friendship.

Later the Shrine sends the Saints of the Abyss, Shun frees the prisoners of the Saori Foundation ship taken hostage with the chain of Andromeda and capturing Medusa. Later Shun rescues Seiya from Medusa and sacrifices himself so that Seiya can throw the Pegasus Meteors before the immobilized rival.
