Saga of Hades
The Sanctuary
After the battle against Poseidon, it does not take long for the most feared enemy of Athena, the king of the underworld Hades (brother of Zeus in Greek mythology) to appear. The Old Master of Shiryu with the remaining Golden Knights senses that evil is approaching again after 243 years and they fear for the terrible battle that is approaching. It is then that before Mu, guardian of the house of Aries appears a man of ghostly aspect whom the bronze knights can not face, later it is known that this character is Shion de Aries the old patriarch, before being killed by Saga. Shion returns from the world of the dead along with ancient saints of Athena: the Saga of Gemini itself, Camus of Aquarius, Shura of Capricorn, Aphrodite of Pisces and Mask of Death of Cancer. Hades gave them 12-hour temporary lives to bring the head of Athena, in return granted them eternal life. Seiya arrives at the sanctuary, but Mu sends him flying, making them believe that he kills him. Mu manages to defeat Aphrodite and Mask of Death although he does not achieve the same with Saga and the others. They go straight to the chamber of the patriarch where Saori is. At that moment Dohko appears who tells Mu to go ahead and protect Athena at all costs, while staying with his old friend Shion, although now not as friends but as enemies. In the house of Taurus, Aldebaran is killed by a Hades phantom, but he also manages to attack him so the Specter dies while fighting Mu. Already in the house of Gemini, Saga and the others find that Kanon is watching the house of Gemini with the permission of Athena, Shura and Camus go ahead and Saga stays chatting with Kanon, Saga attacks Kanon, but in reality it was an illusion of Kanon himself from the patriarch's chamber. Meanwhile in the chamber of Patriarch Milo of Scorpio he meets Saori who, upon hearing Saga's attack on Kanon, will see what happens. Milo to learn that Kanon was in the sanctuary he attacks his attack of scarlet needles telling him that although Athena has forgiven him he has not done it, but before dunk the last needle, Antares, stops the bleeding and forgives him lifetime. Something similar happens in the house of Gemini happens in the Cancer since Saga, Kamus and Shura fall back into an illusion this time produced by the man closest to God: Virgo Shaka and to get rid of the illusion they launch an attack from Cancer's house to Virgo's, but Shaka gives them back the courtesy. He explains that his heart beat around 100,000 times per year, which is what the heart beats in a day so while in the world they spent 243 years, in his body they spent 243 days this is thanks to the technique called misopetameno, then begins to peel with Shion and this time, and on equal terms the fight becomes even.
In the already destroyed sixth house, the house of Virgo; Saga, Camus and Shura, disguised as Hades specters, attack Shaka all three at the same time, but they can not hurt him, more than some blood on his head. Shaka tells them to tell him the truth, what they were hiding inside, but Saga repeated that he only wanted Athena's head. Then the other wraiths attack Shaka, but he overcomes them with his attack "Blessing of the darkness." Once dead, he tells Saga, Kamus and Shura to stop and that now that he killed those who followed them, they now tell him the truth, but Saga insisted that what they were looking for was Athena's head.
So Shaka takes them to the "Twin Room", a garden behind the Virgo house where it is said that Buddha died, just under two trees. Quickly start the battle. Shura uses his attack "Excalibur", although Shaka manages to dodge it narrowly, which does not happen with the attack of Camus who manages to freeze a leg, then, Saga tries to use one of his techniques called "Another dimension" and almost succeeds, but Shaka manages to get rid of her. Then Shaka uses his most powerful technique "The treasure of the sky" the strongest technique of Shaka in which he snatches to his opponents the 5 senses. Shaka tells them that the only way to get rid of him was to use the forbidden technique called The Athena Exclamation, a technique that was banned by Athena in mythological times since it uses the power of 3 golden knights against one, and its power regardless of its Size is comparable to the Big-bang that created the universe. Saga tells them they should use this technique, but Camus and Shura refuse knowing that people who use it, would never receive forgiveness, to which Shaka tells them that they may fear since they had already betrayed Athena by joining Hades . Finally they decide and use the Exclamation of Athena. The force is so destructive that the whole sanctuary recently hit. But then the spirit of Shaka returns to the twin room to write a final message for Athena: "ArayashikiRAYASHIKI" which is in other words the eighth sense.

On the other hand Athena asks Kanon to give him an old chest in which contained a golden dagger with which Saga tried to kill the goddess thirteen years ago and orders to bring the holy traitors before her. Saori asks Saga to kill her with the golden dagger with which the one who tried to kill her when she was a baby, Saga only holds the golden dagger while it is the Saori herself that stabs the golden dagger in that instant comes the song Immortal Love (also known as Chikyuugi or The Earth, by Yumi Matsuzawa) as she falls to the floor and Seiya screams, after the death of the goddess Seiya and the others resign themselves until Shion appears and explains the real reason from which they "betrayed" Athena at the same time using the shed blood of the goddess transforms the statue of Athena into a small miniature version of it, Shion orders the bronze saints to wear the armor with Athena so that with the help of this He can defeat Hades, in addition, restores the armor of the young saints with the blood of Athena telling them that this will give them a new special power which they will discover later.
Meanwhile Saga, Shura and Camus arrive at Pandora to give him the body of Athena, but they beg to deliver him personally to Hades, she refuses and the three saints intercept her ordering them to take them to Hades in order to kill him, but the sun's rays enter the camera and discover to their disgrace that the time of life is running out, Pandora manages to discover the real reason for Athena's suicide and decides to go back to the underworld. On the outskirts of Mu Castle, Aioria and Milo meet Radamanthys, but are easily defeated by it, however Seiya others appear to fight, but the golden saints urge them to keep going while they stay fighting the infernal judge who in the end ends them.
The Bronze Saints arrive with Saga and the other two fallen saints who in their last breath entrusts them with the care of the goddess Athena, Hyoga kills Frog of the frog for daring to kick Camus in response to this froze him in a beginning. The young men arrive at the stairs of the underworld and meet Pandora who immediately recognizes Shun, but continues on.
Radamanthys appears and prepares to face the bronze saints, but all are defeated by the specter until Seiya rises again to face Radamanthys again falling with him into the underworld. The Hell
The story begins with the three bronze knights Shiryu, Hyoga and Shun, who meet Dohko, who tells them why Shaka and Athena were killed, also explains how to get to hell (which is with the eighth sense).
The story continues with Seiya and Shun (Shiryu and Hioga went by another path and same Dohko), which find the entrance to hell that says "He who enters here to abandon all hope", but they continued without giving up hope, after They cross the Acheron river, but with a problem which is that they have to pay Charon. Then they have to go through the courthouse, the first prison, where they later find Kannon, who goes on his way with Shiryu and Hyoga. To the second prison, where they meet Orfeo de Lira and Pharaoh de Esfinge. Orpheus joins them in the fight and they arrive at Giudecca, where it is discovered that Shun is Hades.
While Hyoga and Shiryu continue on their way, they arrive at the fifth prison and meet the three judges of hell: Wyvern's Radamanthys, Grifo's Minos and Garuda's Aiacos, who later fight with Ikki, who defeats Aiacos, but is later taken with Hades, who afterwards the story is mixed with the dream of Seiya, where in truth Ikki is defeated by Hades and sends to the Cocytos and activates the «Great Eclipse», after Seiya deceives the Guardian of the Valentine Cocytos, who defeats him, but faint Athena meets Hades, who is taken from Shun's body, but he takes Athena to the Champs-Elysees. Seiya wakes up and arrives at Giudecca, where Gemini is and then to Shaka, who tries to cross «The Wailing Wall», realizes that the only way to get there is with the Sunlight, there Dohko, Mu, arrive. Milo and Aioria, who use the weapons of Libra, but without any effect, there comes the six missing Golden Armors, as only the Gemini was missing, Kannon decides to let her go and fights with Radamanthys, dying with him.
When Shiryu and Hyoga arrive at Giudecca, they see everyone on the wall and then the seven disembodied armors are formed, reviving Aldebaran, Saga, Mask of Death, Aioros, Shura, Camus and Aphrodite, who sacrifice their lives by putting all their cosmos in the arrow of Aiolos so that this produces the light of the sun and so that the bronze knights cross the wall of the lamentations and save Athena.
Elysian Fields
Seiya manages to enter the dimension that leads to the Champs Elysees, and falls into the field where only those chosen by the gods arrive. He meets the nymphs and asks for Shun, but they run scared warning the God of death Thanatos of what happened.
Thanatos looks for Seiya and tells him that he is lucky to have reached that place, but Seiya is reluctant to believe what he says and begins to battle with Thanatos, but his twin brother Hypnos, God of sleep, appears, telling him that Thanatos can not stain with blood the Champs Elysees because it would be disrespectful to Mr. Hades, but then he agrees that he ends up with Seiya and begins to mistreat him and Seiya responds with his meteors, but he can not make an effect on Thanatos. When Thanatos was going to give the coup de grace Shun appears trying to defend Seiya, but also falls with the power of Thanatos, then together the five Hyoga, Shiryu and Ikki who had let Pandora die at the hands of Thanatos himself.
The battle begins, but the bronze knights lose their armor by the constant attacks of Thanatos showing as their supremacy as god. They already on the verge of dying, receive the aid of the golden armor of Sagittarius, Aquarius, Libra, Leo and Virgo (that had commanded Poseidón), but they return to destroy themselves by the attack of Thanatos the most powerful armors of between all. Seiya already losing hope, but learns that on earth is his sister Seika who was lost, which meets Shaina and Marin suffering from amnesia.
Seiya is called by Athena not to surrender and concentrates his life energy and cosmos to obtain the divine armor, the only ones that belonged to the twelve guardians of Zeus and that he obtained by the blood of Athena in his Pegasus armor, then Seiya manages to defeat Thanatos and tries to escape from Hypnos, but he does not succeed so they intervene Hyoga, Shiryu and Shun (already with their divine armor) to make the advance towards the sacred vessel where Athena is already annihilating Hades.
When Ikki arrives with Seiya, Phoenix tries to attack Hades, but he did not have any armor since his did not have Athena's blood, but under the vessel there was blood and he took it and his divine armor arose. The two attacked the tomb of the true body of Hades that it had kept since the mythological age and the true Hades appeared who wanted to kill Athena with the great eclipse already complete.
Ikki and Seiya begin to attack Hades, but they are defeated very easily, but Seiya manages to strike Hades for the first time as Hyoga, Shiryu and Shun arrive to fight and join forces to attack Hades, but are locked in bubbles by Athena for that brings them to Earth and Seiya throws his armor at Athena, who dresses her to kill Hades, but Athena is knocked down and was about to die, but Seiya breaks the bubble and throws her meteors from Pegasus to falling Hades For the first time too, however, he encrusts his sword to Seiya who apparently dies.
Hades was going to kill Athena, but she joins forces with Hyoga, Shiryu, Shun and Ikki to also embed her staff to the god, who dies, thus saving the Earth from the Great Eclipse. It is not known if Athena and the rest of her knights die when the world of Hades collapses.
