Apple tv could really be Netflix's real competitor? While it's true that Amazon Video is managing to keep up with Netflix on certain aspects, it's also true that it's not managing to produce many high level titles, limiting itself to 5-6 excellent productions of great success. A few small flops, some series that remain niche but nothing compared to the firepower that Netflix is expressing. Not even Disney +, for the moment, is collecting huge response but there's at least 1-2 years to wait with the release of the first Marvel products on the platform. And so among the 2 fighters is likely to enjoy the third aspiring competitor:

The protagonist and executive producer is Chris Evans. The face that has lent his body and face to Captain America for years is called here to play a less muscular and more dramatic character. Evans plays, in fact, a lawyer, a deputy prosecutor who suddenly and for no apparent reason is presented to us in front of the Grand Jury. From there a long flashback will start that will take us back to a crime of a boy that happened 10 months earlier. The victim was a school friend of Evans' son, Jacob. Hence, presumably, the title of the series itself. After only one episode the feeling is to be in front of a product that will not change your life but that will stimulate you enough to continue watching.
Apple tv potrebbe davvero essere la vera competitor di Netflix? Se è vero che Amazon Video sta riuscendo a tenere testa a Netflix su determinati aspetti, è anche vero che non sta però riuscendo a produrre tanti titoli di alto livello, limitandosi a 5-6 eccellenti produzioni di grande successo. Qualche piccolo flop, qualche serie che resta di nicchia ma niente in confronto alla potenza di fuoco che sta esprimendo Netflix. Neppure Disney +, per il momento, sta raccogliendo enorme riscontro ma c'è da aspettare almeno 1-2 anni con l'uscita dei primi prodotti Marvel sulla piattaforma. Partiamo col dire che finora Apple TV non ha confezionato capolavori. Questo però non vuol dire che non stia sorprendendo, anzi. E' riuscita finora a rilasciare circa 10 prodotti, tutti diversi, generi variegati e ambientazioni sempre nuove. Analizzando tutti e 10 i prodotti nessuno va sotto la sufficienza. Anzi. Tutti sono mediamente buoni, alcuni ottimi, un paio eccellenti. L'ultimo arrivato in casa Apple tv è:
Defending Jacob
Protagonista ed executive producer è Chris Evans. Il volto che per anni ha prestato il corpo e il viso a Captain America è chiamato qui ad interpretare un personaggio meno muscolare e più drammatico. Evans interpreta, infatti, un avvocato, un vice procuratore che improvvisamente e senza motivo apparente ci viene presentato di fronte al Gran Giurì. Di li partirà un lungo flashback che ci porterà indietro ad un delitto di un ragazzo avvenuto 10 mesi prima. La vittima era un compagno di scuola del figlio di Evans, Jacob. Da cui, presumibilmente deriva il titolo della serie stessa. Dopo un solo episodio la sensazione è quella di essere di fronte ad un prodotto che non cambierà la vostra vita ma che vi stuzzicherà abbastanza da stimolarvi a continuare la visione.
