I've put it off too long and the TV show is finally over. I wanted to talk about it all the time because the TV show deserved, deserved so much. At the end of the first and maybe only season I take the opportunity to start with the first of the 2 posts I wanted to write. I'm talking about

A series written, directed and recited by that big man Jason Segel. Yes, the very protagonist of How I Met Your Mother. Well, unexpectedly the guy seems to have a talent for writing. His genius, his delightful mental chaos culminated in this series and there are things to say about it. The thing that surprised me the most is to see how little the series has been appreciated. All comments like that:
Beautiful but could do more Intriguing but frayed Too chaotic but interesting There was always a "but." I really liked the TV show, and a lot. I admit I got a rare satisfaction from watching it. It's a meta series, which is as meta as you can get. The ending, among other things, reminded me of a beautiful, unforgettable film that I invite you to see:

Fight Club in love with life to use his own words. The interaction continues with the audience, the narrating voice explaining practically everything, the colours, the settings, the metaphors, the references, the tributes. It's all beautiful. It seemed like a work of art, a continuous flow of disconnected but real, true, authentic thoughts. It's true, the plot was a bit weak and often felt like being in a maze. And it's also true that today there is so much of that television offer that it's a moment to get tired of this or the other series. But it's undeniable that this series has been able to create a unique atmosphere and cloak itself in an exemplary charm. We won't easily forget Peter, Fredwyn, Simone and Sally. Because after all

Ho rimandato troppo e alla fine la serie tv è volta al termine. Ne avrei voluto parlare continuamente perchè la serie tv meritava, meritava tantissimo. Finita la prima e forse unica stagione ne approfitto per partire con il primo dei 2 post che avrei voluto scrivere. Sto parlando di
DISPATCHES FROM ELSEWHERE
Serie scritta, diretta e recitata da quell'omone di Jason Segel. Si, proprio il protagonista di How I Met Your mother. Beh, inaspettatamente il ragazzo sembra avere un talento come sceneggiatore. La sua genialità, il suo caos mentale delizioso è culminato in questa serie e di cose da dire ce ne sono. La cosa che mi ha stupito maggiormente è vedere come la serie sia stata poco apprezzata. Tutti commenti del tipo:
Bella ma poteva fare di più Intrigante ma sfilacciata Troppo caotica ma interessante C'era sempre un "ma". A me invece la serie tv è proprio piaciuta, e tanto. Ammetto di aver provato una rara soddisfazione nel vederla. E' una serie meta, che più meta non si può. Il finale, tra l'altro, mi ha ricordato un film bellissimo, indimenticabile che vi invito a vedere:

Fight Club innamorato della vita per usare le sue stesse parole. L'interazione continua col pubblico, la voce narrante che spiegava praticamente tutto, i colori, le ambientazioni, le metafore, i richiami, gli omaggi. Tutto stupendo. Sembrava un'opera d'arte, un flusso continuo di pensieri sconnessi ma reali, veri, autentici. E' vero, la trama è stata un pò debole e spesso sembrava di essere in un labirinto. Ed è anche vero che oggi c'è tanta di quell'offerta televisiva che è un attima stancarsi di questa o l'altra serie. Ma è innegabile che questa serie ha saputo creare un'atmosfera unica e ammantarsi di un fascino esemplare. Non dimenticheremo facilmente Peter, Fredwyn, Simone e Sally. Perchè in fondo
