Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all! Today I'm here to talk about a french tv series I just watched: Capitaine Marleau!
After I watched all the episodes of the french tv series "Morgane" (I wrote my review about it some days ago), me and my hubby decided to watch another french crime comedy and we chose this one. This series was first broadcast in France on the 2014 and it continue till on present. Here in Italy was broadcast on a channel called Giallo, where we can see a lot of different crime series translated in the italian language, but I read you can find it in different languages and on different channels.
The series is all around the main charcater called Capitaine Marleau (played by Corinne Masiero) a very eccentric female captain of the Gendarmerie who solves the murder cases with an unconventional approach (sometimes a little rude) and a sort of dark humour. In the most part of the episodes she looks like caricaturish and sarcastic. She has not a team to help her from episode to episode, but her "helper" are always different because she go from a village to another one in different part of France. Going to different part of the country, she meet different characters and I known that watching the series in french languages you can appreciate the different pronunciations and the different way to speech.
This series came from an episode of another french series called "Entre vents et marées" where the capitain Marleau appears for the first time. In that episode she wear the same kind of cap she wear on this one: an ushanka hat!
Along the season she always has am ushanka on her head, in different colors and in different materials, but always the same kind of hat.
Even if this is not my favorite one, it's a funny light-hearted series to watch.
