Hello hivers, I'm back here with a new review to tell you about a tv series I just watched with my hubby. I wrote before that during this (very) hot Summer we are watching a lot of crime different series and I wrote my reviews for some of them I liked. This is another one I really appreciated!
Rapa is a Spanish crime thriller tv series created by Pepe Coira and Fran Araújo and there are 3 seasons (from 2022 to the final one in the 2024).

The first season started when the main character Tomàs (Javier Cámara) found the body of the Mayor of Cedeira, the city where he lives. Tomàs is a school teacher who seems to become an obsession to solve the murder and so the Civil Guard Maite (Mónica López) starts to collaborate with him. While for Maite to solve the case is her job, for Tomàs it could be the last opportunity to lives a sort of adventure and to help someone. I can't say more about Tomàs because it could be a spoiler, but you have to know that he is, despite it all, a very ironic man and soon Tomàas and Maite become friends.
Every season is about a different crime case, but when they solve the case it seems the killer is not always so bad as you can think.
I have to tell you more about the actor who plays the role of Tomàs, Javier Cámara, because he's simply fantastic in this role! He's a comic actor and if like me you love the old movies directed by Pedro Almodovar maybe you remember him in a couple of them (for example he played the role of Paquita in La mala educación).
I liked to watch Rapa and, in my opinion, this is a tv series that tell us about many bad things (and not just murders) in a light hearted way. Not a comedy crime series, but a little ironic as I noticed in some other spanish movies and series.
Just to know, I watched it on Rayplay, the italian national tv, but I think it's available also on other streaming platform.
