Black Panther is a great film that feels different right from the beginning, especially in its story, which explores family responsibilities and leadership.
The film starts with T'Challa returning to Wakanda after the death of his father, King T’Chaka. He is expected to take his father's place as the new king. But becoming a king is not just about wearing a crown. T'Challa has to prove that he is truly ready to lead Wakanda.
One of the interesting things about Wakanda is that it is a very powerful and technologically advanced nation. It also respects its traditions and culture, which makes the film more interesting. Everything about the film is well structured, and the Black Panther character is amazing.
Everything is working smoothly, but when Killmonger arrives and reveals his connection to the royal family, it becomes clear that he has his own reasons for wanting the throne. He is very upset because of what he believes about the way Wakanda has treated people outside the country. This is when the film becomes more interesting, because T'Challa has to defeat Killmonger and defeating him isn't easy at all.
T'Challa lost the throne to Killmonger. After he was defeated, Killmonger became the new king of Wakanda. And he ruled for some time. He didn't just want the throne. There is something deeper than that. He wanted to use Wakanda's resources, and most especially its weapons. His plans were absolutely terrible and put Wakanda into a difficult situation. Those plans had consequences, and this part is actually interesting because after T'Challa was defeated, the reign of Killmonger was totally different.
When a fight breaks out between T'Challa and Killmonger, T'Challa is thrown over the waterfall. He is later found, recovers and returns to face Killmonger. The final fight is absolutely impressive. One thing I love about the fight scene is how skilful they are. The film also shows that being a king or a hero is not only about having power; it is about knowing what to do with it.
I would definitely recommend the story. It has an emotional side, too, and that makes me love Black Panther even more. The story was amazing. IMDb
