Your only weapon for survival is silence. If they hear you, you are among the dead ... "A Quiet Place" is without a doubt one that are distinguished by originality and innovation in the main idea. The story of A Quiet Place revolves around a family that lives a life based on total silence, fearing an unknown entity that attacks its victims when they make any sound. The events take place on a rural farm at a time that seems to be the end of the world because of these demonic creatures that snatch their victims in the blink of an eye whenever they make the voices sound.

But before diving into the details of the movie, it may seem to many by watching the trailer that the movie is a horror, but in fact it is a thriller and thriller mixed with some horror more than a pure horror movie. But it's amazing, breathtaking and holding your breath from start to finish. Throughout the movie, you won't be able to leave the screen until it's over. If we want to summarize the words and go straight to the juice, I will tell you that A Quiet Place is among the best films, and you will miss a lot if you do not watch this creative thriller, the first opportunity you have to see the movie, grab it and you will not regret it, the movie is terrible and amazing.

The acting is majestic, all the main characters were amazing, I will focus in particular on the performance of the actress Emily Blunt, who plays the role of the mother, as her character was the most distinctive, and I raise her hat to make some of the scenes of the film breathtaking. The father figure is the performance of actor John Krasinski, whom I do not know much about as I watched him only once in the movie 13Hours, but he proved in this movie that he is a first-level actor as he played the role of the protector of the family, who tries hard to make things around them as calm as possible.

He himself was the director of the film and this work may be considered his first successful directing, as he was very clever in dealing with the silence factor and how the characters interact with this factor. In addition, there is the water element in the film, which has a very important relationship with the silence factor, as some things are explained about it at the beginning, and when we reach a scene near the end, this water element comes and has a very crucial role in a particular scene. Perhaps this observation has more to do with the script than the directing, but in general the film in terms of these two aspects remains very smart and accurate.

What makes the film more exciting and exciting is its use of an important literary writing technique. What is called focalisation externe in French (because the first person to use this technique in writing was the French Gérard Genette), which makes the viewer know little or no knowledge compared to the film's characters who know everything about the events of the story, but you as a viewer remain in a state of curiosity to know what is happening And how it happened, what is this thing, etc. ... But in return, the characters know all these things that you are not aware of. This technology increases the suspense and focus of the viewer with the film in order to obtain all the data to know what is happening, and then the writer lets you discover something with something as the events unfold. (There are also the other two techniques: focalisation interne and focalisation zéro, but they differ in the way the events are narrated)

The film's story, frankly, is not a new innovation in the idea, because it is based on a novel by two scriptwriters, but it was not issued as a novel in advance, rather it was written in 2013 and then Paramount Pictures bought the rights at the beginning of 2017, to be developed and reformulated some Her ideas, to be released as a movie in 2018. But in the cinematic field, the film remains a distinct artistic creation, and I do not think you will hate it even if you are not a fan of this type of movies, as you might put it on your list of the best films !

Not to mention the magnificence of the movie in all its aspects, as it remains the kind that tempts you to watch it more than once, and this is one of its strongest points, as there are films you watch that are good, but to see them again? It gets heavy and very difficult to do. But A Quiet Place gets you to watch it more than once, for what? I don't know ... maybe the atmosphere and the place where the events take place, maybe the good performance of the characters, maybe the distinct story ... But you will want to have a breathtaking experience more than once.

The end was somewhat tragic, there are those who will not like what the events turned out to be, personally I did not consider it bad, but I wanted to prolong the events a bit and show the rest of what will happen and it becomes clearer. Maybe there is another part because this is what most production companies have been doing in recent years, and this is not desirable because the best is for the film to be completely finished. But in any case, if there was an intention for a second part of such a movie, this would be welcomed by many, because who would hate another part of such a wonderful movie

I thought it was ok but it had a lot of holes in the plot for me. such as what happens during a thunderstorm? Do they just go apeshit and tear up everything? Why is it such a a huge surprise that they would be susceptible to certain frequencies of loud sound? They overpowered the ENTIRE WORLD's military?
