This spin-off of Full Metal Panic! is one of the few series that has made me laugh and stole a few laughs when I saw it. Although it completely detaches itself from the serious and political plot full of action with mecha fights and military drama, it is in this version that we are shown a much more relaxed side of these peculiar characters, giving way to what the daily life of Sousuke Sagara is like with Kaname Chidori and his incoherent way of adjusting to student life being a hardened soldier who only turns his place upside down in order to protect Chidori.

Este Spin Off de Full Metal Panic! es una de las pocas series que me ha hecho reir y me robó unas cuantas carcajadas cuando la vi. Aunque se desprende por completo de la trama seria y política cargada de acción con peleas de mechas y drama militar, es en esta versión que nos muestran un lado mucho más relajado de estos peculiares personajes, dándole paso a lo que es la vida cotidiana de Sousuke Sagara junto a Kaname Chidori y su manera tan incoherente de ajustarse a la vida de estudiante siendo un militar empedernido que sólo pone de cabeza el lugar en donde esté con tal de proteger a Chidori.

However, here they also give weight to the relationship between Sagara and Chidori. Even amidst hilarious and unpredictable situations, they give way to romance in a very tender way, making this series a priceless gem in their saga. It is with the evolution of the relationship between these two, where they adapt to each other that makes it the heart of the plot. That is to say, Sagara continues to be a serious military man with a high level of social ineptitude, while Chidori loses her patience with him and resorts to the strength of her character to put Sousuke on the right path, so technically she disciplines him to behave properly.

Sin embargo, aquí le dan peso también a la relación que exite entre Sagara y Chidori. Aún en medio de situaciones hilarantes e impredecible, le dan paso al romance de manera muy tierna, haciendo de esta serie una joya invaluable de su saga. Es con la evolución en la relación de estos dos, donde se adaptan uno al otro que hace que sea el corazón de la trama, es decir, Sagara no deja de ser un militar serio con una alta ineptitud social mientras que Chidori pierde su paciencia con él y recurre a la fuerza de su carácter para poner a Sousuke en el camino correcto, así que técnicamente ella lo disciplina para que se comporte adecuadamente

And the funniest thing about the series is seeing Sousuke panic when he knows that Chidori will have to reprimand him. He has faced difficult situations to overcome as a soldier, and in those moments where he should be completely panicking, he maintains incredible confidence and manages to do his job with honors, but it is enough to know that he completely screwed up with his behavior at school for him to show signs of anxiety, fear, and terror just thinking about how Chidori will react to him when she finds out about the problems he has caused at her school due to his maladjusted social behavior.

Y lo que causa más gracia de la serie es ver a Sousuke entrar en pánico cuando sabe que Chidori tendrá que reprenderlo. Él se ha enfrentado a situaciones difíciles de superar como militar, y en esos momentos donde debería estar completamente en pánico, mantiene una seguridad increíble y logra hacer su trabajo con honores, pero basta saber que metió la pata hasta el fondo con su comportamiento dentro de la escuela para que muestre señales de ansiedad, miedo y terror de sólo pensar en cómo reaccionará Chidori con él cuando se entere de los problemas que ha causado en su escuela por su inadaptado comportamiento social.

I was also really pleased to see the more relaxed side of other characters that I thought were very serious, such as Teletha Testarossa or better known as Tessa, who has a rather strong crush on Sagara, which Chidori notices and "fights" against her so that he doesn't notice her, however her efforts are in vain when she realizes that Sousuke is more interested in his world on a military level than anything else. So her main objective of protecting Chidori throughout Full Metal Panic! remains in Fumoffu.

También me agradó mucho ver el lado más relajado de otros personajes que creía muy serios, como es el caso de Teletha Testarossa o mejor conocida como Tessa, quien tiene un Crush bastante fuerte hacia Sagara, del cual Chidori se da cuenta y "lucha" contra ella para que él no se fije en ella, sin embargo sus esfuerzos son en vano al darse cuenta de que Sousuke está más pendiente de su mundo a nivel militar que de cualquier otra cosa. Así que su objetivo principal de proteger a Chidori a lo largo de Full Metal Panic! se mantiene en Fumoffu.

So if you're in the mood to relax for a while, watch something different, and laugh out loud at unexpectedly hilarious situations, this series is a must-watch. It doesn't matter if you've never seen Full Metal Panic! That's what makes Fumoffu so special: it's so well-made that you can watch it independently, and I assure you, you'll laugh so hard you'll cry with some of its episodes. Well, in my case, I didn't get to that extreme, but it did get me a few laughs, and the series was unforgettable. I give it a 10/10 for its designs, its characters, and for maintaining the essence of the series at all times in such a brilliant way.

Asi que si tienes ganas de relajarte un rato, ver algo diferente y reirte a carcajadas con situaciones inesperadamente hilarantes, esta serie debes verla. No importa que nunca hayas visto Full Metal Panic! Esto es lo que hace tan especial a Fumoffu, está tan bien hecha que se puede ver de manera independiente y te aseguro de que te reirás con alguno de sus capítulos a tal punto de llorar de risa. Bueno, en mi caso no llegué a este extremo pero si me robó unas cuantas carcajadas y la serie se me hizo inolvidable. Yo le doy un 10/10 por sus diseños, sus personajes y mantener la escencia de la serie en todo momento de manera genial.
