The Green Mile is a fantasy movie that has an iota of crime in it. It was totally portrayed as a story narrated by Paul (Tom Hanks).

As an officer in charge of the prison and prisoners, Paul and some other colleagues came in contact with Jonny Coffee, a giant but gentle man who had been sentence to death with the aid of electricity.
Coffee appears like one who everyone needs to be scared of but he wasn't actually one who was sacred of everyone. He has a mysterious power which I can use to heal people of their ailments.

Coffee healed Paul and made some of the healing processes in the presence of all the officers in the prison, at the bosses house where he healed his dying wife.
A man who had been sentence to death by the judge already but later found not guilty by the officers in prison, who can he be saved? He never wanted to run away even when Paul and the others were willing to help him with that. The story ended very tragic when Jonny finally died on the stage of sentence but only to find out that he had deposited so much life into Paul and a little Mouse that was found and partially killed in the prison.
Personal Observation.
Overtime, The Green Mile had been one of the greatest movies Tom Hanks has ever featured in, it's a cool but a very dynamic story, there are lots of undetailed iconic motives in the movie which would eventually always lead to so many questions, maybe not when the movie was actually released but now. For a movie released in the year 1999, the video quality was and is still great.
