Why the fuck should you watch “Pacific Rim: Uprising”? • You motto in life is: bigger is better. • You like to get what is promised to you. • You have always wanted a Transformers and Godzilla crossover movie. • You think that being a thief is the best way to apply for the military special forces unit that only has best of the best of the best. I wouldn’t recommend it, but since it works in this movie, it clearly has to be a legit way. Good luck!

“Pacific Rim: Uprising” is a sequel to the movie “Pacific Rim” from 2013. It takes place in the world, where monsters come to destroy Earth from another dimension and humans need to beat them up with robots that need two people to operate. Since the first movie was successful therefore it was a no-brainer that if viewers like to watch giant robots beating giant monsters in the face then they need to get more of it. And exactly that we’ll get in the sequel too.

If you know what to expect and know that it’s what you need in your life, then this movie doesn’t disappoint. “Pacific Rim: Uprising” isn’t as polished as the first movie was but it still does it’s job: entertaining. It has some great characters and a story that evolves, so we don’t see the same movie again, as it actually tries to show something new and set up a potential third movie pleasantly.

There are so many illogical things happening in this movie, which surprisingly doesn't really bother while watching. I mean – people are running for their lives in the city, and then suddenly they are all gone, because a brutal city destroying fight needs to take place and since it’s rated PG-13 then there can’t be a mass killing on the screen.
Thoughts that can uprise (hehe) during the movie: Who’s in charge of humans? No idea. Where do almost all the skilled pilots vanish during the movie so they need to use rookies? Not important. What effect exactly does it have for people’s mental side to be directly connected with each other's emotions and memories? …shut your logical mouth up, you are not in school. What is important? Fucking robots and giant monsters!

Why the fuck you shouldn’t watch “Pacific Rim: Uprising”? • You don’t speak Chinese. • You are not physically able to let yourself loose and enjoy (very) simple things. • It’s Oscars time soon and you want to see all the movies that compete for them. • You are a strong believer that falling from the edge of the space kills people.
