One of the elements of Pacific Rim that is missing in Pacific Rim: Uprising is the manga/anime feeling that permeates the original. Even the characters that return are missing the things that made them animated stand-ins. Pacific Rim Uprising is a kind of "pukpuk" for those who watch the Pacific Rim and find that the first movie is less action, less comedy, too selow, too dark a picture, or too long duration. The dumbest movie of the year so far for me and I clicked 'ignore this and this and this' in my head every time sth really stupid happened. I gave the movie a 10 star rating on imdb because I want to see the third PR. The producers will still be punished by other ratings. Hope they learn from that.
