Billy Batson is a teenager who can transform into an adult superhero named Shazam who receives this ability from the powers given to him by a mysterious wizard who chose him to be a champion to fight evil from magical beings and defend his world from them. In this sequel, Shazam joins his adopted family to confront the villains Hespera and Kalypso, two ancient goddesses with supernatural abilities who threaten to destroy the world. Meanwhile, Billy and his friends must balance their lives as teenagers with their duties as superheroes, and discover the true meaning of family and friendship in the process.

The soundtrack is not very good, as there are not many or almost no themes in moments that are supposed to be epic or special. For this part, a better acoustic work could have been done to enrich the film with the exclusive sound of a superhero movie.
La bando sonora no es muy buena la verdad, ya que no presenta muchos temas o casi ninguno en momentos que supuestamente tendrían que ser épicos o especiales. Por esta parte pudo haberse hecho un mejor trabajo acústico para enriquecer la cinta con sonoridad exclusiva de una película de superhéroes.

This time the screenwriters wanted to go a bit bigger and show us a comic-accurate comic based on the costumes from the video game Injustice - Gods Among Us from which you can see the concept art they used for the film, although it's nothing more than a slightly modern update of the costumes from the previous film.
Esta vez los guionistas quisieron saltar un poco más a lo grande y mostrarnos un comic-accurate basado en los trajes del videojuego Injustice - Gods Among Us del cual se nota el concepto del arte de vestuario que emplearon para la cinta, aunque no es más que una actualización un poco más moderna de los trajes del anterior filme.

The film is set chronologically after the events of Black Adam and the first part of Shazam!, where the absence of other characters from the company is more than justified due to the plot of the film.

The graphics are good but they could have been better for a high budget film made in 2022, that is, the work of the designers in achieving a better finish is not very noticeable, but they aren't worse than the previous part.
Los gráficos están bien pero pudieron haber estado mejor para ser una película de alto presupuesto elaborada en 2022, o sea, no se nota mucho el trabajo de los diseñadores en lograr un acabado mejor, pero tampoco están peores que la anterior parte.
CONEXIONES | CONNECTIONS
Gal Gadot's appearance as Wonder Woman is evidence of the connectedness of the DC universe itself and the interplay between characters who share a common backstory. Peter Safran (new CEO of DC Studios alongside James Gunn) makes the film fit into the new cinematic universe that is being created while still being part of the old line-up of heroes created by Zack Snyder and his version of the Justice League. Mention is also made of Amanda Waller and the Justice Society of America with consistent cameos from different villains of the saga who will return in upcoming projects.
La aparición de Gal Gadot como Wonder Woman evidencia la conexión que presenta el universo DC en sí y la interacción que tienen los personajes que comparten una misma historia de trasfondo. Peter Safran (nuevo director ejecutivo de DC Studios junto a James Gunn) hace que la peli logre encajar en el nuevo universo cinematográfico que se está creando pero que a la vez siga siendo parte de la vieja alineación de héroes creada por Zack Snyder y su versión de la Liga de la Justicia. Se hace mención también a Amanda Waller y a la Sociedad de Justicia de America con consistentes cameos de diferentes villanos de la saga que volverán a aparecer en próximos proyectos.

Shazam! - Fury of the Gods is not a great film, possibly one of the worst the company has made in the last ten years, and is a one-time-only film; it lacks emphasis, story, action and even comedy. The lead actor has lodged complaints against the company's previous executive and this may be one of the last times we see him playing this character on the big screen.
