I can't be sure if it was the title, the cover, the cast, but something called me to see this film, it could be the fact that it is a production based on food, on chefs or because it has the horror genre in it, what The important thing is that this one hour and forty-seven minute film is an incredible work that leaves you satisfied.

There may be some who clearly do not like it, but for me it is a film that I give a 10/10, based on the use of its budget to make a film of this caliber, with a good cast and an interesting story, without the need to need to travel to five different countries to be able to film it.

The story can be a way of expressing dissatisfaction with the upper class, who are never satisfied with anything or who believe they deserve everything even if it is achieved in a bad way. Although the group of cooks is seen more as a sect than a group of people who are dissatisfied with the situation, or people in love with their profession, the reality is that, combining a dissatisfaction with total dedication to your profession, makes it a remarkable story. that makes you want to see the end.

The film is an intelligent move, there are no costume changes, most of the scenes take place in one place and the characters are introduced in the first minutes, without the need for more to be added to the plot, they work with what they have from the first twenty minutes. I say smart because it cuts costs, makes execution quick and less problematic to continue days later if they need to apply makeup or prosthetics.

Without a doubt, The Menu is a film that I loved from beginning to end, its colors, its accessories and its story, it is a film that I would recommend to anyone who wants to see a horror story with light jokes in between, available now on Star+ and in a few months on HBO Max in Latin America.

No puedo estar seguro si fue el titulo, la portada, el elenco, pero algo me llamaba para ver este film, podría ser el hecho de ser una producción basada en la comida, en los chefs o por tener el genero terror en el, lo importante es que esta película de una hora con cuarenta y siete minutos es una obra increíble que te deja satisfecho.

Podrán haber algunos que no les guste claramente, pero para mí es una película al que le doy un 10/10, basándome en la utilización de su presupuesto para hacer una película de este calibre, con un buen cast y una historia interesante, sin la necesidad de necesitar viajar a cinco países diferentes para poder filmarla.

La historia puede ser una forma de expresar la inconformidad hacia la clase alta, que no esta satisfecha nunca con nada o que cree merecerlo todo aun si es conseguido de una mala manera. Aunque el grupo de cocineros se vea más como una secta que un grupo de personas inconformes con la situación, o personas enamoradas a su oficio, la realidad es que, combinando una inconformidad con la entrega total a tu profesión, hace que sea una historia remarcable que te haga querer ver el final.

Es una jugada inteligente la película, no hay cambios de vestuarios, la mayoría de escenas suceden en un solo lugar y los personajes son presentados en los primeros minutos, sin la necesidad de que se agreguen más a la trama, se trabaja con lo que tienen desde los primeros veinte minutos. Digo inteligente porque hace recortar costos, hace rápida la ejecución y menos problemática continuar en días después si necesitan colocar maquillaje o prótesis.

Sin duda alguna, The Menu es una película que me encanto de principio a fin, sus colores, sus accesorios y su historia, es un film que recomendaría a todo aquel que quisiera ver una historia de terror con ligeros chistes de por medio, disponible ahora en Star+ y dentro de unos meses en HBO Max en latinoamerica.
