Hi, my dear friends!

This is my first post in the Movies & TV Shows Community

Recently, I began to notice that I «hang out» on the same films and TV shows all the time. Probably, my life became quite stressful and the brain turned on a protective mechanism. Have you noticed that children can watch the same cartoons many times? Psychologists say that this is completely normal. The surrounding world is fraught with a lot of unknown and the child's brain needs rest. Reviewing what he has already seen, the child knows exactly how it will end. This is that small piece of reality where the situation is controlled and this makes it possible to relax. I think my brain was running the exact same defense mechanism. However, I slowly began to crawl out of my shell where I had been so diligently hiding and tried to follow movie digests to select new movies to watch.

The plot of The Last of Us is pretty simple. The series is based on the computer game The Last of Us. This is one of many post-apocalyptic series. Location - USA. Global warming has led to the fact that some fungi have learned to live in the body of people, turning them into monsters. These creatures bite no worse than the Walking Dead, but at the same time they are also able to move at a fairly high speed, which greatly complicates the life of the heroes of the series.

To be honest, this whole fungal theme adds to the fatality. According to the author of the series, the infection of mankind occurred through flour. It's not the same as eating a covid-infected bat! One way or another, the products of the flour industry are eaten by the majority of the world's population. Brrrr.... I will definitely go on a diet without flour products!

In my posts about mushrooms, I have repeatedly said that mushrooms are in some intermediate position between plants and animals, so you can hardly deny them that perhaps they are hatching plans to take over the universe! 😁

The rest of the story is pretty simple. The protagonist Joel survived and became a smuggler. He needs to lead 14-year-old orphan girl Ellie from the quarantine zone to the West through all the states. The ultimate goal of their journey is to find a group of scientists who are working on inventing a vaccine. And here Ellie is a particularly valuable shot, since she is immune to the virus. In general, there is hope, which cannot but rejoice.

For Joel, his mission is also significant because Ellie gradually begins to associate with his daughter, who died in his arms in the early days of the epidemic.

And this whole journey is what makes up the plot. Our heroes are moving towards their goal, overcoming various difficulties. Of course, the main obstacle is not the virus and monsters, but other people. Who would doubt that! Humanity is working so diligently on self-destruction that we don’t even need viruses, we are doing a great job ourselves!

Is the series worth watching? Well... the beginning is a little boring, but then you get interested. If you liked The Walking Dead, then you can watch it at your leisure.

Yesterday I saw a movie in which PEDRO PASCAL appears, since the movie was very good and I made a review of it today, you should take a look at it, because I recommend it, this series is in trend since it came out and it was even taken from a video game, so it's more genius.

I am not familiar with the video game or its history but this series caught my attention because of Pedro Pascal, then when I saw that there would be 2 Game of Thrones characters, I did not hesitate to watch it and I liked it a lot, in my opinion chapter 4 has been the best of all

    Hi to @toerm-di-torem

Well I Love the series, "The Last of Us". Cordyceps are found naturally in the jungles of the Amazon I think. The fungi insects and ant grows out of the top of his head, then drives it around. So to speak. So is saying that if fungus really did change is DNA sequence we will be in trouble. And it wasn't just flour, it was rice, oats, any kind of crops of that nature. All I can say is that I really like the show and can't wait till the next episode. My son talked me into watching this series now as it comes out week to week. I usually wait until the whole series is out, then have a watch fest. 🥳🥳🤪
