Desde hace una semana finalizó la segunda temporada de "The Last of US"; una segunda parte corta que contó con tan solo siete episodios, pero de los cuales creo que tres y medio se enfocaron en lo que era la historia a relatar en esta temporada, la cual es la historia de Ellie quien deberá ahora lidiar con el sentimiento de odio que le podrá hacer perder por completo la humanidad, pero antes de llegar a esa etapa habrá que esperar un buen tiempo, ya que tanto Craig Mazin y Neil Druckmann están haciendo lo mejor para desarrollar esta historia.

El séptimo episodio llamado "Convergence", relata el tercer día de Ellie en Seattle, un día más lidiando con las consecuencias de su venganza en una ciudad cada vez más peligrosa por el conflicto o mejor dicho, la guerra entre dos poderosos bandos; justamente ese evento hace que este episodio se desarrolle desde el punto de vista de Ellie, el cual se hace notar que es inconcluso por ciertas situaciones y que seguramente en una tercera temporada tendrán respuesta; justamente esa manera de relatar la historia no es nada nuevo en esta temporada, ya que desde el primer episodio podemos notar que hay agujeros argumentales por ejemplo por la relación rota entre Joel y Ellie y que varios episodios después, tuvimos respuesta de dicha separación lo cual hace más impactante el desenlace de la venganza de Abby y lo que en sí genera el desarrollo de la segunda parte de esta historia; creo que esa manera de relatar y desarrollar todos esos acontecimientos fueron una idea genial aunque seguramente no generaron un impacto favorable en este final de temporada porque justamente habrá que esperar cierto tiempo para completar el relato de lo sucedido en esos días en Seattle..

La producción estuvo a la altura de los últimos episodios, la recreación de los escenarios así como de importantes escenas en la temporada fue vital no tanto por cumplir con el fanservice, sino en función del relato; el hecho de mostrar una reacción real a ciertos momentos fue lo mejor, así como la valentía de hacer ciertos cambios que podrá dar libertad a como se puede desarrollar la historia de varios personajes en el futuro. El guion del final de temporada contó nuevamente con Druckmann, Mazin y Haley Gross quienes escribieron el excelente sexto episodio; en esta oportunidad los diálogos son pocos, pero con un buen peso emocional en dónde nuevamente el tema sobre la moral, lidiar con la perdida, el odio, la venganza y sus consecuencias está presente, eso demuestra coherencia lo cual aprecio porque esos temas seguirán muy presentes en lo que resta de toda esta historia.

The seventh episode called "Convergence", tells the story of Ellie's third day in Seattle, one more day dealing with the consequences of her revenge in a city increasingly dangerous by the conflict or rather, the war between two powerful sides; precisely that event makes this episode is developed from the point of view of Ellie, which is noted that it is inconclusive for certain situations and that surely in a third season will be answered; precisely that way of telling the story is nothing new in this season, since from the first episode we can notice that there are plot holes for example by the broken relationship between Joel and Ellie and that several episodes later, we had an answer of this separation which makes more shocking the denouement of Abby's revenge and what in itself generates the development of the second part of this story; I think that this way of relating and developing all those events was a great idea, although they surely did not generate a favorable impact in this season finale because we will have to wait some time to complete the story of what happened in those days in Seattle. .

The production was at the height of the last episodes, the recreation of the scenarios as well as important scenes in the season was vital not so much to comply with the fanservice, but in function of the story; the fact of showing a real reaction to certain moments was the best, as well as the courage to make certain changes that may give freedom to how the story of several characters can develop in the future. The script of the season finale counted again with Druckmann, Mazin and Haley Gross who wrote the excellent sixth episode; this time the dialogues are few, but with a good emotional weight where again the theme about morals, dealing with loss, hate, revenge and its consequences is present, that shows coherence which I appreciate because those themes will remain very present in the rest of this story.

No entiendo ni mucho menos comparto el odio hacia Bella Ramsey por su interpretación de Ellie; está temporada estuvo excelente y su personaje experimentó una montaña rusa de emociones lo cual ella como actriz nos dotó de todos esos cambios; en el séptimo episodio no podía ocurrir de otra manera y es en una escena en específico en dónde nuevamente debe lidar con consecuencias, algo que al final no sucede por la protección que tiene de otros personajes, pero que nuevamente, una reacción a sus actos vuelve a aparecer generando más odio del que ella siente; ese aspecto del personaje en donde Ellie está lejos de ser una adulta responsable y más que nada es alguien cegada por la venganza es lo que más me ha gustado porque ella ha perdido, pero pareciera que no puede perder más hasta que obtiene una dosis de realidad y se siente vulnerable y perdida, esto es impresionante para su personaje y por supuesto para toda la historia y está todavía joven actriz hace un gran trabajo expresando cada una de las emociones.

I don't understand and much less share the hatred towards Bella Ramsey for her interpretation of Ellie; this season was excellent and her character experienced a roller coaster of emotions which she as an actress provided us with all those changes; in the seventh episode it couldn't happen otherwise and it is in a specific scene where again she must deal with consequences, something that in the end doesn't happen because of the protection she has from other characters, but again, a reaction to her actions reappears generating more hatred than she feels; that aspect of the character where Ellie is far from being a responsible adult and more than anything is someone blinded by revenge is what I liked the most because she has lost, but it seems that she can not lose more until she gets a dose of reality and feels vulnerable and lost, this is impressive for her character and of course for the whole story and this still young actress does a great job expressing each of the emotions.

El desarrollo y el relato de la historia en esta temporada me pareció excelente; primeramente no quería tener altas expectativas, pero desde el primer episodio estaba nuevamente conectado con toda la historia y me pareció genial que tanto el primer episodio como la mitad del segundo funcionó (en mi opinión) como un prólogo, una nueva introducción de estos personajes al público, esa referencia necesaria para saber en dónde estamos en la historia y que nos preparó para lo que sucedería en el impactante final del segundo episodio en dónde se da oficialmente al comienzo de la historia de Ellie, la cual no importa la manifestación de felicidad que pueda experimentar, ella no podrá borrar de su mente la venganza que deberá cumplir y todo eso me convenció de que el plan ideado para esta temporada y las siguientes es el correcto, funciona porque a pesar de que sé que hubo quejas en dónde el final de temporada no estuvo a la altura, creo que cuando llegue el momento de unir piezas, unir esa parte de la historia desde el punto de vista de Abby, sé que tanto la segunda como tercera temporada tendrá una relevancia enorme. Lamentablemente, habrá que esperar dos años para el estreno de la tercera temporada, la cual estoy convencido de que no será la última y solo queda ser paciente para estar más cerca del desenlace de esta gran serie original de HBO.

I thought the development and story telling in this season was excellent; first of all I didn't want to have high expectations, but since the first episode I was again connected with the whole story and I thought it was great that both the first episode and half of the second one worked (in my opinion) as a prologue, a new introduction of these characters to the audience, that necessary reference to know where we are in the story and that prepared us for what would happen in the shocking end of the second episode where the beginning of Ellie's story is officially given, which no matter the manifestation of happiness she may experience, she will not be able to erase from her mind the revenge she must fulfill and all that convinced me that the plan devised for this season and the following ones is the right one, it works because even though I know there were complaints where the season finale was not up to par, I think that when the time comes to put pieces together, to unite that part of the story from Abby's point of view, I know that both the second and third season will have a huge relevance. Unfortunately, we will have to wait two years for the premiere of the third season, which I am convinced will not be the last and we can only be patient to be closer to the denouement of this great HBO original series.

El pasado domingo con el estreno de "The Price", penúltimo episodio de la segunda temporada de The Last of Us, se alcanzó nuevamente esa carga de dramatismo que había estado presente en los dos anteriores episodios, pero en una menor intensidad por las escenas de acción, más la introducción de nuevos personajes; justamente esa representación de emociones se hizo más fuerte finalizando el quinto episodio lo cual nos llevó a una escena en dónde la vida de Joel y Ellie fue perfecta por un tiempo necesario lo cual daba confort, pero por todo lo sucedido era notorio que la verdad y el dolor de alguna manera estarían presentes.

Este muy importante episodio fue dirigido por Neil Druckmann quien también escribió el guion junto a Halley Gross y Craig Mazin; primeramente este episodio desde el trabajo direccional es sorprendente, desde el primer flashback enfocado en un muy joven Joel y su hermano, nos demuestra el instinto paternal que siempre ha experimentado Joel, pero también entendemos o tenemos noción de sus actos nada justificables que son causa de una herencia familiar; esa escena que da comienzo al episodio es muy importante porque con poca demostración de sentimientos entre dos personas, de igual manera existe una gran carga emocional que hice referencia en el principio del post y por supuesto no será la última. Nuevamente, está serie demuestra que es la mejor adaptación de un videojuego a una versión de acción-real; las escenas en el planetario, la excursión llena de felicidad de ambos protagonistas, es hermosa, la fidelidad de las escenas crean gran emoción y eso es uno de los puntos destacables del episodio.

La historia de este episodio más que rellenar un vacío argumental demostrando los sucesos en años anteriores que al final llevaron a la ruptura entre Joel y Ellie, tiene como función dar un paso para profundizar en lo que es Joel y lo que posiblemente sea Ellie, como dije anteriormente, la imagen o la obligación de ser un referente o figura paterna que tiene Joel, es lo que hace que sea sumamente protector y que ponga siempre por encima su bienestar y la de sus seres queridos, algo que considero normal porque creo que es el comportamiento a seguir de todos, pero es la inhibición de conciencia, la nula importancia a las consecuencias de sus actos lo que puede terminar haciendo daño a quien él quiere proteger y en esa parte de la historia de Joel, es dura porque lamentablemente para él nunca podrá sentir por mayor tiempo una felicidad plena y lamentable ese sentimiento y el poco tiempo con su relación con Ellie seguramente la hará transitar un camino parecido al que tuvo él.

The story of this episode rather than fill a plot gap by showing the events in previous years that ultimately led to the breakup between Joel and Ellie, has as a function to take a step to deepen what is Joel and what possibly is Ellie, as I said earlier, the image or the obligation to be a reference or father figure that Joel has, is what makes it extremely protective and always put above their welfare and that of their loved ones, something that I consider normal because I think it is the behavior to follow for everyone, but it is the inhibition of conscience, the lack of importance to the consequences of their actions that can end up hurting those he wants to protect and in that part of the story of Joel, is hard because unfortunately for him he can never feel for a longer time a full happiness and regrettable that feeling and the short time with his relationship with Ellie will surely make her walk a path similar to the one he had.

A pesar de ser un sorprendente episodio, creo que todavía falta un relato más de toda esa historia en los años antes de revelarse la verdad sobre los Fireflies y la aparición de Abby, esto lo digo porque el episodio está relatado mayoritariamente desde el punto de vista de Joel y eso hizo que hubiera un gran cambio con respecto al juego y la serie de TV, lo cual me genera expectativas sobre como puede ser la historia desde el punto de vista de Ellie con sus cambios de la adolescencia hacia la adultez, la influencia de Joel, lo referente a su inmunidad,.su necesidad de amar y de ser correspondida, son muchas cosas que si están presente en el episodio, pero de una manera muy superficial y aunque la escena que cierra el flashback de ambos personajes es poderosa y reveladora, creo que todavía falta profundizar el sentimiento de culpa que padece Ellie y que la hará transitar por el camino del odio. El próximo domingo finaliza esta corta, pero intensa temporada y a pesar de no querer tener altas expectativas, creo que es imposible sentir lo contrario y solo espero que el cierre esté a la altura de toda la temporada.

Es de pleno conocimiento que las producciones basadas en videojuegos no sean exitosas por el hecho de que pocas implementan la calidad o lo que hace exitoso a un videojuego tanto en la gran como pequeña pantalla y estoy seguro de que The Last of Us, es la producción (en este caso televisiva) que mejor recrea lo que se observa en el material origen a lo conocido como acción-real; cabe destacar que como es una serie de TV basada en un videojuego, se toma ciertas libertades narrativas para que la historia pueda funcionar en ese formato y a pesar de las quejas de algunos “fieles” fans del juego, no hay duda que lo hecho por Craig Mazin es sorprendente con respecto a narrativa y fidelidad y para ejemplo puedo citar el quinto episodio de la segunda temporada llamado "Feel Her Love".

Esta parte de la historia narrada desde la perspectiva de Ellie, es cada vez mejor por como seguimos viendo a ese personaje reprimir sus sentimientos de odio, venganza y por supuesto de la perdida por la muerte de Joel; todo eso empuja a Ellie a sentir todo lo demás, pero como dije, reprime todos esos sentimientos por su relación con Dina quien le ofrece humanidad, amor, una experiencia nueva que supere todo lo malo y se enfoque en un futuro de paz, pero eso es imposible, ya que siempre el recuerdo de Joel estará presente; posiblemente esto sea algo repetitivo en los últimos episodios de la serie, pero la venganza de Ellie en contra de Abby y sus amigos, es algo es el motivo principal del resto de la temporada y es por eso que ciertos matices y apariciones de otros personajes junto a las problemáticas que generan, es lo importante para ofrecer algo más al televidente.

La dirección del quinto episodio la realizó Stephen Williams, quien ha trabajado como productor y director de episodios de la serie "LOST", pero también dirigió el magistral episodio de la miniserie "Watchmen" llamado "This Extraordinary Being"; así que las expectativas eran altas y en mi opinión hizo un excelente trabajo, ya que es lo que más me ha gustado del quinto episodio de esta temporada; la recreación de muchos escenarios, la fidelidad y demás es lo que eleva este episodio y lo pone casi a la par de los otros cuatro anteriormente estrenados, la calma o la naturalidad de la relación entre Ellie y Dina, es fundamental para todo lo que debe suceder en los metrajes restantes; en eso Williams sabe profundizar aún más en el cambio o el verdadero sentir de Ellie en esta misión vengativa, pero antes de llegar a ese punto, el cómo director utiliza muy bien el terror generado por los muchos peligros que debe enfrentar las jóvenes protagonistas; esa tensión y suspenso es fundamental para después si mostrar lo que realmente es Ellie.

The direction of the fifth episode was made by Stephen Williams, who has worked as producer and director of episodes of the series "LOST", but also directed the masterful episode of the miniseries "Watchmen" called "This Extraordinary Being"; so the expectations were high and in my opinion he did an excellent job, as it is what I liked most of the fifth episode of this season; the recreation of many scenarios, the fidelity and so on is what elevates this episode and puts it almost on par with the other four previously released, the calm or naturalness of the relationship between Ellie and Dinah, is fundamental for everything that should happen in the remaining footage; in that Williams knows how to deepen even more in the change or the true feeling of Ellie in this vengeful mission, but before reaching that point, the director uses very well the terror generated by the many dangers that the young protagonists must face; that tension and suspense is fundamental to later show what Ellie really is.

Nuevamente, Isabela Merced y Bella Ramsey hacen un excelente trabajo en su interpretación de "Dina" y "Ellie"; no me canso de recalcar que Dina es el ancla o la única esperanza de humanidad para Ellie, pero en este episodio se convierte en un apoyo verdadero, uno con la experiencia y por ahora entendimiento de lo que debe hacer Ellie, en eso Isabela nuevamente tiene ese temple o fortaleza para que su personaje sea un motivo más y espero que el desempeño de esta joven, pero ya experimentada actriz tenga el reconocimiento merecido; sobre Bella es impresionante como puede pasar de un estado de felicidad a otro dónde el recuerdo de lo que se ha perdido genera un cambio radical o la demostración de su verdadero ser, creo que ese dilema, pregunta o lucha interna del personaje será lo que debemos observar no solo en los pocos episodios que restan de esta temporada, sino en los siguientes y en eso se nota que está actriz criticada por su aspecto físico, está más que preparada para enseñar las emociones y su compromiso con el personaje; ambas actrices son geniales.

"Feel Her Love" fue un episodio sumamente rápido que pareciera que no haya sucedido nada y es todo lo contrario, sucede mucho, es un paso más o evolución del desarrollo del personaje de Ellie, pero también de la historia; esa aparición de como un virus y sus infectados van cambiando siendo más peligrosos, así como los humanos y su capacidad autodestructiva es lo que siempre me gusta de este tipo de historias porque siempre dejan en una mala posición lo referente a la humanidad aunque también siempre hay una esperanza para tener un cambio; estás situaciones son lo que me siguen atrayendo de la historia con sus protagonistas que deben lidiar con sus decisiones, sus actos, deseos sean errados o correctas, esa lucha moral es sin ninguna duda lo mejor de esta historia.

"Feel Her Love" was an extremely fast episode that seems that nothing has happened and it is the opposite, it happens a lot, it is a step more or evolution of the development of Ellie's character, but also of the story; that appearance of how a virus and its infected are changing becoming more dangerous, as well as humans and their self-destructive capacity is what I always like about this type of stories because they always leave in a bad position regarding humanity although there is always a hope to have a change; these situations are what keep attracting me to the story with its protagonists who must deal with their decisions, their actions, their desires whether they are wrong or right, that moral struggle is undoubtedly the best of this story.

El pasado domingo oficialmente comenzó la segunda parte de esta historia; el cuarto episodio de la segunda temporada de The Last of Us, llamado "Day One", nos ofrece una primera parte de la expansión de este mundo postapocalíptico en dónde la paz no existe así como tampoco el virus que acabo por completo a todo el mundo; esta parte relata desde el punto de vista de dos jóvenes mujeres las cuales pareciera no temer a absolutamente nada, deberán no solamente enfrentarse a conocidos y nuevos enemigos sino a sus sentimientos.

Mi temor principal antes de comenzar a ver esta temporada era de pensar que exista episodios de relleno y esto lo digo porque al ser originalmente una historia dividida en dos partes, posiblemente se tenga que estirar para poder abarcar toda una temporada y así contar con una o posiblemente dos más, pero al ver que está temporada será corta, es imposible que ningún episodio tenga menos importancia que otro, ya que siempre habrá algo que lo haga relevante, así que en “Day One”, se convirtió en otra grata sorpresa, porque superó mis expectativas, este fue un episodio muy entretenido, con excelentes escenas de acción, comedia, tensión, nuevos enemigos, música y amor en sus diferentes expresiones, un episodio bastante completo.

A pesar de mis expectativas anteriormente dichas, de igual manera sentí cierta preocupación al pensar que este pudo ser un episodio de relleno, esto lo digo porque esperaba que existiera momentos en dónde después de un vil ataque no solo hacia Joel, sino el realizado por los numerosos clickers, se mostrará que la vida debe continuar, que se debe superar los traumas, aprender de los errores y hacerse más fuertes, muchas cosas que al decirlas parece ser fácil, pero la realidad es que la perdida para muchos personajes, en especial para Ellie es muy duro de superar y eso es lo que justamente se convierte en el motivo principal de este episodio y del resto de esta historia. Quiero enfocarme en Ellie porque hay demostraciones y definiciones hacia su personaje lo cual es importante, primeramente observamos una actitud de estar tranquila y de haber aceptado lo sucedido lo cual para la vista de muchos podrá hacer ver qué Ellie sufre, pero no existe un nivel de resentimiento, ni venganza, pero al ser definida como una mentirosa, es donde podemos ver qué no estamos consciente de la Ellie que se ha creado después de lo sucedido con Joel, ya que estamos viendo una fachada, un caparazón que posiblemente esconde a una persona que está comenzando a consumirse por el odio.

El trabajo de Bella Ramsey como "Ellie" es excepcional, en especial en la primera mitad del episodio en dónde nos demuestra diferentes facetas de su personaje; personalmente esperaba ver en ella procesos del duelo lo cual si se presta atención si existen, pero no de una manera ordenada como muchos hacen ver; su desesperación y negación se observa en el momento de despertar en el hospital, su estado de tristeza y depresión al momento de enfrentar la soledad de su hogar, la aceptación al visitar a la tumba de Joel, pero de todas esas facetas, es la ira la que más me ha impresionado y a pesar de ser una escena con muy poco tiempo, la actuación de Ramsey así como la dirección de Peter Hoar posiblemente crearon una de las mejores imágenes que podemos ver de esta serie.

He visto en tres oportunidades este episodio y estoy plenamente conectado con la manera pausas de relatar esta historia, el tiempo que están tomando para el desarrollo de ciertos sucesos será fundamental para dar validez a esta corta segunda temporada porque estoy seguro de que el ritmo será más trepidante para el relato de una tercera parte; creo que al ser pausados pueden brindar otros aspectos que no son vistos en el videojuego y eso es lo que hace funcionar muy bien a esta producción de HBO.

Con respecto a la carga emocional del episodio, es lo que más me ha gustado; tanto el guion de Manzin con diálogos cortos, mostrando rabia, poder y tristeza así como lo referente a dejar atrás el caos generado por un masivo ataque a enfocarse en un grupo de personas en una cabaña en dónde se desarrolla una venganza, justamente esa palabra es lo que pienso que representa esta segunda y posiblemente tercera parte de esta historia, es el motivo mayor, ya que lamentablemente atrás quedó el motivo de la protección, del amor de un padre hacia su adoptiva hija y solo queda resentimiento, odio, la necesidad de hacer justicia desde la venganza, una serie de sentimientos generados por las consecuencias de un evento violento, sin razonamiento, llevado a cabo por un hombre que perdió todo y que sin saberlo también arrebató la vida a dos jóvenes mujeres que estarán hundidas en un irracional odió.

Y sé que muchos, quienes ha jugado el videojuego saben qué sucede después, pero mi expectativa se basa en como debe ser ese relato de la historia de Ellie, su necesaria evolución que la haga transitar por el valle de las sombras de la muerte, sin miedo y ganas de venganza, eso es lo que me genera el final de este episodio que invita al espectador a posiblemente tener el debate de lo hecho por Abby estuvo bien o no o por como lo hizo y si lo que debe hacer Ellie será aceptado por ser lo correcto; esto es lo fascinante de este gran episodio que cuenta con grandes actuaciones de sus protagonistas, en especial de Kaitlyn Dever quien expresa el dolor, ira, poder y satisfacción en el momento en su personaje consume su venganza; no hay duda que este fue de los mejores episodios de esta serie.

En una temporada que contará con tan solo siete episodios, es posible que no se relate todos lo que sucede en el segundo videojuego de esa franquicia; posiblemente eso puede desalentar a ciertos aficionados y a otros crear preocupación por los cambios a realizar para que la historia pueda funcionar en este formato de serie de TV, personalmente soy de las personas que estaba preocupara por el desarrollo de la historia en la serie, pero con tan solo ver el primer episodio de la segunda temporada llamado "Future Days" fu suficiente para nuevamente conectar con esta maravillosa historia de un hombre con la necesidad de amar en un mundo apocalíptico y de una mujer en una etapa final de la adolescencia, queriendo tener una normalidad a pesar de su importancia en el mundo.

Craig Mazin dirige y escribe este gran episodio que con las pocas expectativas que tenía, me pareció un excelente comienzo para esta nueva etapa de la historia; posiblemente sea Manzin quien ha entendido que se pide tomar la influencia del trabajo realizado en el videojuego y plasmarlo en una serie de TV; muchas de las escenas son más que un calco de lo visto en el juego, creo que por supuesto al ser una versión de acción-real, existe más naturalidad como por ejemplo lo que experimenta Ellie en el baile del fin de año o las conversaciones de Joel con muchos personajes en dónde se releva su sufrimiento y añoranza.

Así como ocurrió en la anterior temporada, en esta nueva, es el drama su característica principal y sé que no digo nada relevante, pero creo que lo sucedido con respecto a Joel y su manera de abrirse hacia Ellie, es lo que demostrará vulnerabilidad; este es un hombre diferente que espera recibir una recompensa por lo hecho, así lo piensa, lo vive, pero la realidad es otra, ya que no importa lo antes hecho, eso de igual manera generará graves problemas; recuerden que cada domingo hasta el 25 de mayo, se estrenarán nuevos episodios de esta serie.

El día de ayer fue el estreno del final de la primera temporada de The Last of Us; en este episodio llamado "Look for the Light" apreciamos una directa, corta historia con un gran significado emocional, ya que primeramente se termina de derrumbar las barreras que se impuso Joel al conocer a Ellie y en esta etapa de su historia demuestra lo que significa ella para él y justamente ese sentimiento le hará luchar sin importar las consecuencias de sus actos.
El episodio es nuevamente dirigido por Ali Abbasi quien dirigió el anterior; en esta oportunidad nuevamente se usa los flashbacks para explorar el verdadero origen de Ellie y hago referencia a esa parte del episodio porque me gustó la decisión de enfocarse en el personaje de "Anna" y su estado el cual provee dificultad y a la vez motivación para enfrentar un grave peligro; esa escena demuestra una gran tensión, pero también la gran emoción al dar vida y eso me pareció real, bien dirigido, bien actuado y en tan pocos minutos vemos una clara explicación de lo que es esta serie en dónde no necesita en mostrar a infectados en toda su dimensión en cada episodio y si explorar la humanidad en un mundo apocalíptico.

La historia del noveno episodio es un cierre fascinante de este arco argumental que narra el viaje que realizan Joel y Ellie; en esta historia se divide en momentos donde se enfoca en los puntos de vista de los dos protagonistas principales y a pesar de que el comienzo de este episodio nos muestra el origen de Ellie, es evidente que el relato principal está enfocado en demostrar lo que debe hacer una madre o un padre para proteger a sus hijos y es por eso que en esta oportunidad, la historia de esta primera parte de la serie debe ser contada por Joel. Los flashbacks en esta serie fueron formidables, desde las dos primeras escenas en los dos primeros episodios a los dos episodios que funcionan de relato sobre dos historias de amor en un mundo apocalíptico es de lo mejor que he visto en una serie de TV en los últimos años; ahora en este episodio existe un breve uso de dichos temas dónde vemos escenas de persecución, tensión y terror, pero también veremos una donde existe amor puro entre una madre y su hija; esto es posible por el trabajo de Abbasi cómo director y por supuesto de la actuación de Ashley Johnson cómo "Anna"; me pareció convincente la actuación de Johnson, tanto en la determinación, fuerza y después ternura al cuidar a su hija recién nacida; su actuación como madre es muy buena y esto le da validez a todo lo que sucederá en el resto del episodio. Con respecto a la actuación de los protagonistas, me enfocó en lo que hace Pedro Pascal quien tiene la posibilidad de ser más vulnerable de lo que fue en el episodio seis y confiar sus sentimientos a Ellie que adopta por completo después de como ella le salvó la vida. Este episodio tiene una muy buena actuación de Pascal que deja otra vez más en evidencia que su personaje no tiene una mentalidad estable y es entendible por todos los traumas que ha vivido, pero lo entendible es que sus actos pueden "aceptarse" porque nadie permitiría perder a quien ama así signifique salvar al mundo.

Con el estreno de "Look for the Light" debo decir que es extraño que una serie tenga en toda una temporada tan buenos episodios; el trabajo realizado por parte de Manzin y Druckmann es excepcional y convierten a esta primera temporada de The Last of Us es la mejor versión de acción-real basada en un juego de video; saben cómo representar en la pequeña pantalla una historia llena de drama, con personajes llenos de dolor por irreparables perdidas, pero dispuestos a curar sus heridas; a eso, anexo el cuidado de recrear escenas icónicas del videojuego que no solo son los esperados easter eggs, sino que tiene importancia en la narrativa; estás ideas, la manera de usar a buenos directores que creen en la historia realizada por los ya anteriormente nombrados, es un ejemplo de hacer un buen trabajo y crear una historia que puede tener como base la hecha en otras producciones, pero se diferencia en demostrar que es lo importante a relatar y justamente este último episodio de la primera temporada es un gran ejemplo de eso; no olvida que causó el fin del mundo que conocemos, no olvida los motivos de quienes sobreviven para recuperar al mundo, no olvida a las criaturas, pero tampoco deja atrás lo que en mi opinión hace que conecte con muchas personas y esa es la historia sobre cómo a pesar de sufrir el apocalipsis, la humanidad de una manera u otra debe prevalecer, no solo sobrevivir por cualquier medio y aunque suene simplista, el amor es la única vía para curar toda perdida que sé ha experimentado; esa manera de relatar esta historia hace tenga el pensamiento u opinión de que esta sea una de las mejores temporadas de una serie en la historia de la televisión y no eso hace que tenga expectativas sobre lo que será esta historia en el futuro.

With the premiere of "Look for the Light" I must say that it is rare that a series has in a whole season so many good episodes; the work done by Manzin and Druckmann is exceptional and makes this first season of The Last of Us the best action-real version based on a video game; they know how to represent on the small screen a story full of drama, with characters full of pain for irreparable losses, but willing to heal their wounds; to that, I add the care to recreate iconic scenes of the video game that are not only the expected easter eggs, but that have importance in the narrative; these ideas, the way of using good directors who believe in the story made by the above mentioned, is an example of doing a good job and create a story that can be based on the one made in other productions, but differs in demonstrating what is important to tell and just this last episode of the first season is a great example of that; it does not forget what caused the end of the world we know, it does not forget the motives of those who survive to recover the world, it does not forget the creatures, but it does not leave behind what in my opinion makes it connect with many people and that is the story about how despite suffering the apocalypse, humanity in one way or another must prevail, not just survive by any means and although it sounds simplistic, love is the only way to heal any loss that has been experienced; that way of telling this story makes me have the thought or opinion that this is one of the best seasons of a series in the history of television and not that makes me have expectations about what this story will be in the future.

Penúltimo episodio de la temporada y nuevamente Ellie es quien lidera esta parte de la historia en dónde se refleja los verdaderos peligros de un mundo completamente destruido. En este octavo episodio el cual recibió el nombre "When We Are in Need", veremos de manera consecuente una serie de métodos para sobrevivir a un mundo apocalíptico; estos métodos prefiero clasificarlas cómo justificable y otras que crean un gran rechazo; también podemos ver una gran diferencia sobre cómo liderar una comunidad y eso convierte a este episodio en un buen complemento narrativo con respecto a lo que sucede en el quinto episodio donde vimos como una comunidad puede funcionar desde la organización y la empatía aunque e igual manera existe un control o imposición de reglas que crean un orden que de una manera u otra ayudará a sobrevivir a cierto grupo de personas.

Este episodio fue dirigido por Ali Abbasi, director iraní el cual por su último film "Holy Spider" estrenado el pasado año fue que supe de su nombre y que estuvo cerca de entrar a la lista de nominados a los Premios de la Academia como "Mejor largometraje internacional"; en esta oportunidad hace un gran trabajo para demostrar esta parte de la historia dónde un hombre con poder de palabra, uso de la religión, decide el bien y el mal sobre un grupo de personas que conforman una comunidad ahogada en el miedo; posiblemente este debe ser el episodio con más rasgos de terror en la temporada y lo mejor que no necesita de los Clickers para crear ese tipo de escenas. Me gusta ese tono lúgubre que tiene varias escenas, esa calma, pausa que esconde muchas cosas; creo que hizo un buen trabajo y tengo expectativas porque Abbasi también dirige final de temporada.

Anteriormente en esta serie en los dos primeros episodios se había usado escenas de flashback; ambas escenas, aparte de enseñarnos lo que será el futuro, siempre pensé que usan el terror y en mi opinión las hace fascinantes; también hemos visto como esa lucha contra los infectados también genera ese estilo de terror muy bien visto en historia de zombis, pero lo hecho por Mazin en este episodio nos demuestra un terror verdadero, real, uno en dónde la imposición del poder será el principal causante de una población llena de miedo. No tengo duda de que en este episodio se usa clichés que muchas veces se han visto en estas historias apocalípticas, pero se presenta la oportunidad de hacer una mejor narración, una lenta la cual poco a poco nos muestra revelaciones terroríficas. Creo que la presentación de este grupo de personajes es algo acertado para esta parte de la historia, porque como he dicho en otras publicaciones, esta historia no solo se basa en un mundo lleno infectados, esta historia nos muestra como un grupo de sobrevivientes pueden convertirse en los verdaderos monstruos.

Previously in this series in the first two episodes flashback scenes had been used; both scenes, apart from showing us what the future will be, I always thought that they use terror and in my opinion it makes them fascinating; we have also seen how that fight against the infected also generates that style of terror very well seen in zombie stories, but what has been done by Mazin in this episode shows us a real terror, real, one where the imposition of power will be the main cause of a population full of fear. I have no doubt that this episode uses clichés that have been seen many times in these apocalyptic stories, but it presents the opportunity to make a better narration, a slow one that little by little shows us terrifying revelations. I think that the presentation of this group of characters is something right for this part of the story, because as I have said in other publications, this story is not only based on a world full of infected, this story shows us how a group of survivors can become the real monsters.

Me gustó la actuación de Bella Ramsey; anteriormente observamos cómo Ellie a pesar de ser parte de un viaje o misión peligrosa; se había liberado de situaciones fuertes por la protección de Joel, pero en esta oportunidad al protector seguir herido, ella debe poner en práctica todo lo aprendido en los tres meses de viajes. Esa necesidad de dar un paso adelante y salvar a su amigo la vimos al final del episodio anterior y ahora vemos la extensión de hacer frente a una mala situación por el estado de Joel; lamentablemente sus buenas acciones la llevarán a encontrar a un muy buen antagonista. El personaje de "David" interpretado por Scott Shepherd, es un gran personaje; es el tipo de persona que ve una oportunidad y toma ventaja de esa situación e impone todo lo que es porque no encontrará ninguna oposición; en mi opinión es un personaje perfecto para esta parte y el actor que le dio vida hizo un excelente trabajo.

En "When We Are in Need" creo que vimos el definitivo adiós de la inocencia de Ellie; aunque también vimos lo capaz que puede ser porque demuestra lo fuerte e inteligente; lamentablemente el mundo que le tocó crecer es uno en dónde la felicidad puede ser muy poca y en dónde la avaricia, tristeza, miedo y locura está presente, pero experimentar un peligro en diferentes maneras, ya que la subestiman por ser una mujer adolescente, la cual debe de una manera ser controlada, dominada, es algo que ella no pensaba en vivir y creo que por eso vemos cómo reacciona al final y posiblemente en el próximo episodio nos enseña cómo debe lidiar con este reciente trauma. Este penúltimo episodio de la primera temporada fue muy bueno, esta introducción de nuevos y peligrosos personajes es algo que se está haciendo muy bien porque en otras series se le daría hasta una temporada completa para desarrollarlos, en realidad para estirar una historia que no necesita de mucho para crear impacto, lo otro es que nuevamente demuestra fidelidad al videojuego y regala momentos esperados para los antiguos y nuevos fans de esta historia; disfrute mucho de todo lo que ofreció está parte de la serie y es imposible no tener expectativas sobre cómo terminara esta temporada.

Fue estrenado el séptimo episodio de The Last of Us el cual es llamado "Left Behind" y que no solo funciona como una continuación directa del episodio anterior que finalizó con un buen cliffhanger, si no es un perfecto completo o precuela de lo que vimos en la segunda mitad del primer episodio. En esta oportunidad esperaba ver qué tanto aprendió Ellie de Joel después de convivir juntos por tres meses y en dónde en esta oportunidad un evento sumamente peligroso amenaza con separarlos y es por eso que para entender la reacción o acción que debe ejercer Ellie, es mejor conocer parte de su inmediato pasado y ver qué ella también ha perdido como muchos otros.

Posiblemente, este nuevo episodio es el que más expectativas me había creado porque quería ver un completo protagonismo de Ellie y a pesar de que no se enfoca principalmente en el presente sino a una hermosa e imborrable vivencia, creo que de una manera existe ese reflejo en lo que ha sucedido entre ella y Joel en su peligroso viaje; justamente ese desarrollo que se observa en este episodio es que lo que me ha gustado porque se nota el plan que tienen tanto Mazin cómo de Neil Druckmann quien es el guionista de este episodio. La historia del pasado de Ellie antes que su mundo cambiara por completo era algo que necesitaba de ver y llega en un momento perfecto en esa versión porque cada vez más se necesita conocer más a este importante personaje, ver sus temores, motivos, lo que le hace feliz y lo que la hace sentir tristeza y creo que lo mejor es que no hay que olvidar que Ellie es una adolescente la cual desde su inocencia siente curiosidad de lo que fue el mundo antes de perderse completamente; en esos detalles hay que decir que el trabajo de Druckmann es excelente.

En el pasado episodio hice referencia sobre la buena dirección que realizó la directora Jasmila Žbanić que aprovechó el filmar en exteriores y así regalar muy buenas imágenes, aparte de otras escenas en dónde personajes nos regalas escenas con mucha carga emocional, en mi opinión es uno de mis episodios favoritos y eso también hizo que tuviera expectativas sobre cómo sería el trabajo en la dirección para este nuevo episodio. En esta oportunidad la dirección fue de Liza Johnson y la cual hizo un gran trabajo; en este episodio se retoma esa sensación de ver una historia que sí, pertenece a lo que nos muestra en la serie, pero puede encajar en otra producción, se siente independiente así como sucedió en el tercer episodio; me gusta mucho el filtro en cada escena, da un toque de ser un recuerdo que es relatado desde punto de vista de Ellie y es que de ese tono marrón, verde, negro, existe otros como fucsia, azul, morado y rosado lo cual contrarresta y hace más notorio a la escenografía. Otra cosa que me agradó es el tono tanto de los 80' como los 90', es algo válido y muy detallista, siempre recordando cuando es que comenzó la infección y que privo en mostrar diferentes aspectos de años siguientes, por eso, artefactos, autos, ropa, música siempre será enfocado en épocas recientes como las anteriormente nombradas.

Possibly, this new episode is the one that had created more expectations because I wanted to see a complete protagonism of Ellie and although it does not focus mainly on the present but to a beautiful and indelible experience, I think that in a way there is that reflection in what has happened between her and Joel in his dangerous journey; just that development that is observed in this episode is what I liked because you can see the plan that have both Mazin and Neil Druckmann who is the screenwriter of this episode. The story of Ellie's past before her world changed completely was something I needed to see and it comes at a perfect time in that version because more and more we need to know more about this important character, see her fears, motives, what makes her happy and what makes her sad and I think the best thing is that we must not forget that Ellie is a teenager who from her innocence is curious about what the world was before she lost herself completely; in those details we must say that the work of Druckmann is excellent.

In the last episode I made reference to the good direction made by the director Jasmila Žbanić who took advantage of filming on location and thus gave very good images, apart from other scenes where characters give us scenes with a lot of emotional charge, in my opinion it is one of my favorite episodes and that also made me have expectations about how the work in the direction would be for this new episode. This time the direction was by Liza Johnson and she did a great job; in this episode we get back that feeling of seeing a story that yes, it belongs to what you show us in the series, but it can fit in another production, it feels independent as it happened in the third episode; I really like the filter in each scene, it gives a touch of being a memory that is told from Ellie's point of view and it is that from that brown, green, black tone, there are others like fuchsia, blue, purple and pink which counteracts and makes the scenery more noticeable. Another thing that pleased me is the tone of both the 80's and 90's, it is something valid and very detailed, always remembering when the infection began and that deprived in showing different aspects of the following years, so, artifacts, cars, clothes, music will always be focused on recent times as previously mentioned.

Al ser un episodio enfocado en Ellie, era de esperar en que Bella Ramsey tuviera mucho más protagonismo, profundizar más en su personaje, verla junto a alguien a quien confía y considera como su mejor amiga; era necesario apreciar eso, ya que desde su primera escena la vemos siempre interactuar con personajes adultos. El trabajo que realiza es una extensión de lo que ya se ha demostrado aunque así como vimos en los minutos finales del anterior episodio, en esta oportunidad el desespero, la tristeza y miedo es más fuerte y todo eso nos demuestra las diferentes emociones que vivió Ellie en un reencuentro y despedida con alguien tan especial para ella; en eso Bella sigue haciendo un gran rol en ser una adolescente con muchas cosas infantiles y eso es debido por la ingenuidad de su personaje, también la valentía de enseñar sus sentimientos lo que la hace vulnerable y a la vez sentir mucha pasión, rabia, tristeza; es muy buena su actuación en esta parte de la historia.

Me gustó mucho la perspectiva del episodio en mostrar cuál sería el comportamiento de Ellie con respecto al grave problema que debe enfrentar y de como en un recuerdo o experiencia del pasado que está muy unido a alguien que fue sumamente importante para ella servirá para explicar no solo sus acciones, sino que dará respuesta a muchas otras cosas, diferentes detalles que se ha visto del personaje en el transcurso de los seis episodios anteriores como por ejemplo, preguntar en varias oportunidades si obtendría un arma, su interacción y odio hacia los infectados, la necesidad de explorar, saber usas la casetera, los chites; en mi opinión todos esos detalles de este personaje en el transcurso de esta temporada tienen una especial importancia después de ver este episodio y me doy cuenta de lo importante que es el relato para esta producción y por eso la hace de lo mejor del año. Otra característica importante de "Left Behind" es ese tono especial dedicado a la perfecta cita, la expresión del amor, la necesidad de sentir amor para estos personajes que viven en un mundo devastado; solo quedan dos episodios antes de la finalización de la temporada, es claro que la experiencia de Ellie cómo ahora protectora de Joel no ha terminado y eso genera más expectativas porque el peligro parece no terminar.

I really liked the perspective of the episode in showing what would be the behavior of Ellie with respect to the serious problem she must face and how a memory or experience of the past that is very close to someone who was extremely important to her will serve to explain not only her actions, but will answer many other things, different details that have been seen of the character in the course of the previous six episodes such as asking several times if she would get a weapon, her interaction and hatred towards the infected, the need to explore, know how to use the cassette player, the chites; in my opinion all those details of this character in the course of this season have a special importance after watching this episode and I realize how important the story is for this production and that makes it one of the best of the year. Another important feature of "Left Behind" is that special tone dedicated to the perfect date, the expression of love, the need to feel love for these characters who live in a devastated world; there are only two episodes left before the end of the season, it is clear that the experience of Ellie as now protector of Joel is not over and that generates more expectations because the danger seems not to end.

Para que una historia fluya debe tener un cierre de alguno de sus arcos narrativos; esto es algo que debería ser obligatorio en varias producciones porque es válido y así ayuda al espectador a no crearse expectativas por algunos sucesos en los cuales no se le dé más impotencia de la que debe tener, pero en mi opinión, el principal factor es que los personajes principales podrán enfocarse en muchas otras cosas que nos prepara para un final y por supuesto para lo que vendrá en el futuro y justamente en el sexto episodio de The Last of Us llamado "Kin", nos muestra como los efectos de vivencias pasadas nos prepara para tener (por ahora) un cierre de uno de los motivos del viaje de Joel y Ellie, pero a la vez nos va preparando para lo que será el cierre de esta primera temporada y lo que seguramente tendremos en el futuro en esta producción de HBO.

For a story to flow it must have a closure of some of its narrative arcs; this is something that should be mandatory in several productions because it is valid and thus helps the viewer not to create expectations for some events in which they are not given more helplessness than they should have, but in my opinion, the main factor is that the main characters can focus on many other things that prepares us for an end and of course for what is to come in the future and just in the sixth episode of The Last of Us called "Kin", shows us how the effects of past experiences prepares us to have (for now) a closure of one of the reasons for Joel and Ellie's journey, but at the same time prepares us for what will be the closure of this first season and what we will surely have in the future in this HBO production.

El día de ayer se estrenó el sexto episodio del gran éxito de HBO y el cual puedo decir que es el que más muestra esa influencia del género Western, lo cual me agrado de ver y es que en mi opinión me pareció perfecto el lugar donde se filmó muchas escenas, así como el diseño del lugar en donde se desarrolla esta parte de la historia. En "Kin" nos relata como el viaje entre Ellie y Joel sufre de un salto temporal; esto me apareció algo positivo porque se evita de que está serie repita una y otra vez las mismas situaciones hasta llegar al lugar donde vive "Tommy", el hermano de Joel, el cual no vemos desde la mitad del primer episodio; Tommy desde el momento que se alejó del grupo conocido como "Fireflies" vive en una comunidad en Jackson, Wyoming la cual es parte junto a otras personas que hacen lo posible e imposible para mantener un lugar alejado de todo el terror que ocurre en otras ciudades; este es un lugar el cual se puede considerar un hogar aunque la confianza, respeto y demás será difícil de ganar, ya que el pasado de Joel podrá crear un conflicto y terminar de separar una relación que ahora más que nunca necesita ser más fuerte.

Yesterday was released the sixth episode of the great success of HBO and which I can say is the one that most shows the influence of the Western genre, which pleased me to see and in my opinion I found perfect the place where many scenes were filmed, as well as the design of the place where this part of the story unfolds. In "Kin" tells us how the journey between Ellie and Joel suffers from a time jump; this seemed to me something positive because it avoids that this series repeats over and over again the same situations until reaching the place where "Tommy" lives, Joel's brother, which we do not see since the middle of the first episode; Tommy from the moment he left the group known as "Fireflies" lives in a community in Jackson, Wyoming which he is part of along with other people who do everything possible and impossible to keep a place away from all the terror that occurs in other cities; this is a place which can be considered a home although trust, respect and others will be difficult to win, as Joel's past may create a conflict and end up separating a relationship that now more than ever needs to be stronger.

Este episodio fue dirigido por _Jasmila Žbanić, directora, guionista y productora, originaria de Bosnia y quién alcanzo la fama después de que su film del 2020, "Quo Vadis, Aida?", obtuviera varias nominaciones y premios; en este episodio hace un gran trabajo, en realidad es uno sumamente hermoso, ya que los exteriores dónde se desarrolla el episodio, da la sensación de calma, soledad, silencio y peligrosa tranquilidad, lo cual hace que el suspenso y la tensión nunca desaparece a pesar de que los personajes de Joel y Ellie con sus conversaciones haga que exista naturalidad el viaje minimizando la realidad en la que ellos viven. Anteriormente, hice referencia a la influencia del género Western en este episodio y es que lo pausado del relato y las localidades son de muy del estilo de ese tipo de films, la fotografía, los escenarios, todo es sumamente perfecto y hace que esta episodio lo tenga en uno de los que más me ha gustado.

El guion de Mazin en este episodio puedo enfocarlo en la influencia, control e independencia que una persona puede experimentar dependiendo del momento de su vida; también existe lo que causa el temor y miedo de perder todo nuevamente; primero que nada diré que con respecto a la dependencia e influencia que se puede ejercer en una persona lo relaciono al personaje de Tommy el cual la única descripción que tenemos en la serie era su necesidad de sentirse héroe y en esta etapa de su vida, en dónde vemos a alguien maduro, centrado, enfocado en algo y alguien, existe una predisposición diferente a las necesidades de su hermano el cual teme de perder aún más; como pueden ver estos temas se relacionan aunque si, por el mundo que muestra está historia el cual está lleno de tanto peligro, el miedo es un factor motivacional para sobreproteger lo que difícilmente se ha obtenido y por eso existen personas que juzgan y relacionan errores o sucesos del pasado con lo que es el presente y posiblemente lo que será el futuro; en mi opinión esto fue un tema bien desarrollo en un episodio el cual demuestra la carga dramática en esta historia.

"She does a great job in this episode, in fact it is an extremely beautiful one, since the exteriors where the episode takes place, gives the feeling of calm, solitude, silence and dangerous tranquility, which makes the suspense and tension never disappears even though the characters of Joel and Ellie with their conversations make the journey natural, minimizing the reality in which they live. Previously, I made reference to the influence of the Western genre in this episode and the slow story and the locations are very much in the style of this type of film, the photography, the scenery, everything is extremely perfect and makes this episode one of the ones I liked the most.

The script of Mazin in this episode I can focus on the influence, control and independence that a person can experience depending on the moment of his life; there is also what causes fear and fear of losing everything again; first of all I will say that with respect to the dependence and influence that can be exerted on a person I relate it to the character of Tommy which the only description we have in the series was his need to feel like a hero and at this stage of his life, where we see someone mature, focused, focused on something and someone, there is a different predisposition to the needs of his brother who fears losing even more; as you can see these themes are related although if, by the world that shows this story which is full of so much danger, fear is a motivating factor to overprotect what has hardly been obtained and that is why there are people who judge and relate mistakes or events of the past with what is the present and possibly what will be the future; in my opinion this was a well developed theme in an episode which shows the dramatic charge in this story.

En episodios anteriores, el peso protagónico lo tenía personajes que se convierte en importantes por los diferentes relatos de sus vidas antes y después de la aparición de la infección que afectó al mundo; esto en mi opinión enriquece a la historia que necesitaba un tiempo para que la relación entre Joel y Ellie tuvieron una base fuerte y después impactar en los momentos adecuados; ahora en este episodio, así como sucedió en el primero, es Joel quien nuevamente toma el protagonismo y muestra su desesperación y miedo por sentirse no apto para completar una misión y por eso es siento que este episodio es una continuación de la primera mitad del primero; en ambos, la actuación de Pascal es excelente, muy buena y puedo decir que en esta oportunidad su personaje nos demuestra lo que seguramente sintió por muchos años al momento de perder a su hija y que lo hizo transitar un camino oscuro y que ahora a pesar del miedo, tiene la oportunidad de hacer algo diferente aunque existen muchos factores que dificultarán esa nueva tarea. Me gustaron mucho los diálogos que tuvo Pedro con Gabriel Luna quien interpreta a Tommy, porque se sienten como si fueron verdaderos hermanos, la felicidad, la tristeza, la necesidad del desahogo; en mi opinión fueron muy buenas escenas entre ambos.

In previous episodes, the protagonist weight had characters that become important for the different stories of their lives before and after the appearance of the infection that affected the world; this in my opinion enriches the story that needed some time for the relationship between Joel and Ellie had a strong base and then impact at the right time; now in this episode, as it happened in the first one, it's Joel who again takes the lead role and shows his desperation and fear for feeling unfit to complete a mission and that's why I feel that this episode is a continuation of the first half of the first one; In both, the performance of Pascal is excellent, very good and I can say that in this opportunity his character shows us what he surely felt for many years at the moment of losing his daughter and that made him walk a dark path and that now in spite of the fear, he has the opportunity to do something different although there are many factors that will make this new task difficult. I really liked the dialogues that Pedro had with Gabriel Luna who plays Tommy, because they feel as if they were real brothers, the happiness, the sadness, the need to vent; in my opinion they were very good scenes between them.

Este episodio con un ritmo el cual en mi opinión nos ofrece escenas hermosas, con una fotografía excepcional, tiene un ritmo pausado y el cual es muy parecido a lo que fue el cuarto episodio en dónde la narrativa ofrece cosas muy importantes para el desarrollo de lo que seguramente será los últimos tres episodios de la temporada; me parece genial que está serie siga demostrando que no los infectados no son el único peligro, ya que a falta de estas pobres criaturas, existen otros que de una manera u otra son igual o hasta más peligrosos porque sus impulsos y motivos son creados por el miedo no deja para ningún entendimiento. Existe algo en "Kin" lo cula es el momento que se toma para crear escenas que pueden disminuir el drama y tener tiempo para demostrar humor, felicidad y esperanza, creo que es inteligente que esto suceda porque no todos los episodios deben ser una paliza emocional en dónde se recuerda por siempre lo que se ha perdido y tampoco digo que este es el episodio cómico o ligero, ya que existe esa carga importante de emociones por parte de los protagonistas, es que se toma el momento para dar la importancia necesaria para cada momento y con esto repetiré de que por ahora es uno de mis episodios favoritos de la temporada.

This episode with a rhythm which in my opinion offers us beautiful scenes, with exceptional photography, has a slow pace and which is very similar to what was the fourth episode where the narrative offers very important things for the development of what will surely be the last three episodes of the season; I think it's great that this series continues to show that the infected are not the only danger, because in the absence of these poor creatures, there are others that in one way or another are equally or even more dangerous because their impulses and motives are created by fear that does not leave for any understanding. There is something in "Kin" the cula is the moment that is taken to create scenes that can diminish the drama and have time to show humor, happiness and hope, I think it is smart that this happens because not every episode should be an emotional beating where you remember forever what has been lost and I do not say that this is the comic or light episode, since there is that important load of emotions by the protagonists, is that the moment is taken to give the necessary importance for each moment and with this I will repeat that for now it is one of my favorite episodes of the season.

El pasado domingo con el estreno del cuarto episodio de la primera temporada de esta serie el cual recibió por nombre "Please Hold to My Hand", decidí no hacer una reseña porque desde el momento de ver su final pensé que era como un tipo de prólogo para lo que se trataría este episodio; con eso no diré que ese episodio sea menos importante de los ya estrenados o los que se estrenaran en las próximas semanas; con mi definición sobre el 4.º episodio quiero decir que era mejor esperar ver de manera completa toda la historia que se desarrolla en esa zona de la ciudad de Kansas y así dar una opinión completa sobre los personajes que tiene un importante protagonismo en ese episodio y en el 5.º, así como también ver cómo afecta todo lo que deben experimentar en la relación de Joel y Ellie.

Last Sunday with the premiere of the fourth episode of the first season of this series which was called "Please Hold to My Hand", I decided not to make a review because from the moment I saw its end I thought it was like a kind of prologue to what this episode would be about; with that I will not say that this episode is less important than those already released or those that will be released in the coming weeks; with my definition of the 4th episode I mean that it was better to wait to see the full story that develops in that area of Kansas City and thus give a full opinion on the characters that has an important role in that episode and in the 5th episode. Siempre he dicho que está serie evita ser repetitiva en sus episodios a pesar de que en los últimos cuatro (contando este último), existe uno o más personajes de los cuales nos demuestra como ha afectado a la humanidad la aparición de esta infección; con esto me refiero no a las muchas perdidas humanas y materiales, sino a lo que justamente nos hace humanos y es que de una manera u otro el terror impuesto por una enfermedad y por prácticas totalitarias nos demuestra de que como raza podemos convertirnos en nuestros peores enemigos; con esto dicho y con el título de este quinto episodio el cual justamente es nombrado "Endure and Survive" nos enseña nuevamente de que está historia de sobrevivientes, varios personajes deberán hacer lo imposible para mantenerse con vida y en dónde deberán lidiar con sus decisiones las cuales puedan considerarlos como villanos, pero como cualquier historia, todo depende de los puntos de vista de quién la relate y así como hay "villanos", también estarán los que deberán hacer lo imposible para completar una misión que posiblemente de comienzo a salvar a un mundo que por diferentes y horrendas situaciones sea difícil considerar ser salvado.

I have always said that this series avoids being repetitive in its episodes even though in the last four (counting this last one), there are one or more characters that show us how the appearance of this infection has affected humanity; by this I mean not to the many human and material losses, but to what makes us human and that is that in one way or another the terror imposed by a disease and totalitarian practices shows us that as a race we can become our worst enemies; With this said and with the title of this fifth episode which is justly named "Endure and Survive" shows us again that this story of survivors, several characters must do the impossible to stay alive and where they must deal with their decisions which can be considered as villains, but like any story, everything depends on the point of view of who tells it and just as there are "villains", there will also be those who must do the impossible to complete a mission that may begin to save a world that by different and horrendous situations is difficult to consider being saved.

No quiero decir que lo hecho en esta serie con respecto al 4.º y 5.º episodio sea considerado como especial o único porque es algo muy recurrente en cualquiera producción televisiva y eso es separar una historia en dos o más partes, en dónde la continuidad es valiosa para el relato; mi opinión va de que en esta oportunidad era justo esperar a ese nuevo episodio y así tener una perspectiva completa de la historia de los personajes que hacen vida en la ciudad de Kansas y por supuesto ver cómo deben lidiar con eso los verdaderos protagonistas de la serie. Los dos últimos episodios fueron dirigidos por Jeremy Webb y escritos por Mazin y en mi opinión tienen un balance entre el drama, terror y acción que es sorprendente; por supuesto tiene el clásico fanservice para los fans del juego y eso es por las escenas que cierran está historia, en especial las que considero parte del acto final; en este punto debo decir que considero a estos dos episodios como uno y es que lo disfrute muy bien de esa manera, la continuidad es genial y nos brinda una perspectiva nada esperanzadora para la humanidad tanto por la necesidad de demostrar un poder que controle a otros, así como la ignorancia sobre que se están enfrentando con respecto a los infectados.

Lo que se relata en esta parte de la serie es claramente la otra cara de la moneda, otra situación que viven los sobrevivientes del apocalipsis creado por esta horrible infección y es que nos plantea la pregunta ¿Qué harías para sobrevivir? ¿Aprovechas tu posición de víctima para sacar provecho o buscas una manera de contrarrestar y así liberarte de la opresión? Y sé que muchos pueden tratar de hacer algo diferente, obtener una libertad, pero la verdad es que dependiendo de diferentes situaciones, cada quien deberá tomar una decisión así sea considerado un villano y justamente con eso es que existe otro tema importante en este episodio y es que en la ciudad de Kansas no hay héroes, solo villanos, personas que por ser víctimas tuvieron la obligación de perder su humanidad y convertirse en despreciables villanos.

I don't want to say that what was done in this series with respect to the 4th and 5th episode is considered special or unique because it is something very recurrent in any television production and that is to separate a story in two or more parts, where continuity is valuable for the story; my opinion is that in this opportunity it was fair to wait for that new episode and thus have a complete perspective of the history of the characters that make life in Kansas City and of course see how the real protagonists of the series have to deal with that. The last two episodes were directed by Jeremy Webb and written by Mazin and in my opinion they have a balance between drama, horror and action that is amazing; of course it has the classic fanservice for fans of the game and that is because of the scenes that close this story, especially those that I consider part of the final act; at this point I must say that I consider these two episodes as one and I enjoyed it very well in that way, the continuity is great and gives us a not very hopeful perspective for humanity both for the need to demonstrate a power to control others, as well as the ignorance about what they are facing with respect to the infected.

What is told in this part of the series is clearly the other side of the coin, another situation that the survivors of the apocalypse created by this horrible infection live, and it poses the question: What would you do to survive? Do you take advantage of your position as a victim to take advantage or do you look for a way to counteract and thus free yourself from oppression? And I know that many may try to do something different, to obtain freedom, but the truth is that depending on different situations, everyone must make a decision even if they are considered a villain and that is precisely why there is another important theme in this episode and that is that in Kansas City there are no heroes, only villains, people who by being victims had the obligation to lose their humanity and become despicable villains.

No hay duda de que el personaje "Kathleen Coghlan", la líder de la resistencia en esa ciudad y que es interpretada por Melanie Lynskey es de lo mejor; me hubiera gustado ver un flashback con respecto a su pasado, pero seguramente le hubiera quitado importancia tanto a su personaje como al otro protagonista de este parte de la historia como fue "Henry Burrell" interpretado por Lamar Johnson y es que todo el peso de la historia en dónde se debe crear un debate de si hizo bien o no recae en el personaje de Henry y es por eso que quién debería demostrar rabia, venganza, odio y locura era el personaje de Kathleen; en mi opinión Lynskey lo hizo genial, es buena actriz y por su actitud, si rostro y su voz puede ser que estemos frente a alguien calmado, confiable, pacífico y justo, pero la verdad es que su personaje en esta etapa de su historia es completamente diferente. Me voy a referir brevemente del trabajo de Pascal y Ramsey los cuales cada vez más se ven mejor en cada escena y no digo que anteriormente estuvieron haciendo un mal trabajo, solo me refiero a como sus personajes estén cada vez más unidos fortaleciendo su relación; siempre he dicho que este lento crecimiento entre ambos es lo que más me gusta de la serie porque no es para nada forzado.

Este quinto episodio nos enseña nuevamente como se puede perder todo de una manera tan rápida, lo cruel y horrible que puede ser el mundo y más cuando está destruido; yo comparo estos dos episodios al primero porque demuestran poca esperanza y poca humanidad; también demuestra lo fácil que es odiar y atacar más cuando tienes el poder, pero a la vez eres pequeño cuando lo que destruyo a todo regresa demostrando todo su potencial y es ahí donde encuentro desesperanza en esta historia; las vivencias que tuvieron Joel y Ellie, enseña más que nada a la joven chica los peligros y enemigos que podrá enfrentar en un futuro en dónde lo triste es la poca confianza que pueda tener en otras personas que pueda encontrar en el camino, eso seguramente hará que la relación entre ellos sea más fuerte porque de ahora en adelante solo dependerán de ellos mismos.

This fifth episode shows us again how everything can be lost so quickly, how cruel and horrible the world can be and more when it is destroyed; I compare these two episodes to the first one because they show little hope and little humanity; it also shows how easy it is to hate and attack more when you have the power, but at the same time you are small when what destroyed everything comes back showing all its potential and that is where I find despair in this story; the experiences that Joel and Ellie had, teaches more than anything to the young girl the dangers and enemies that she may face in the future where the sad thing is the little confidence she may have in other people she may find along the way, that will surely make the relationship between them stronger because from now on they will only depend on themselves.

Desde el momento en que la prensa especializada tuvo la suerte de ver varios episodios de la primera temporada de "The Last of Us", hubo una crítica positiva, unificada a lo que era el tercer episodio; muchas personas se crearon grandes expectativas porque aparte de seguir a los dos principales protagonistas de esta historia, se iba a ver por primera vez al personaje de "Bill" el cual así como Joel y Ellie, tiene una gran base de fans; es por eso que con todo lo antes descrito los fieles fans y los nuevos, esperaba ver algo que superará los dos episodios anteriores y puedo decir que gratamente los creadores de esta serie junto a los actores consiguieron crear una sorprendente historia de amor.

El pasado domingo presencié uno de los mejores episodios que he visto en los últimos meses; sé que en otras oportunidades he dejado claro que el pasado año estuve alejado del formato de series de TV, pero en las pocas series que tuve la oportunidad de ver, no presencie la gran calidad de relato que tuvo el tercer episodio de The Last of Us, el cual llevó por nombre "Long, Long Time" y en dónde seguiremos el viaje de Joel y Ellie lidiando con la perdida de Tess y buscando una manera de por fin congeniar y cumplir las misiones que tienen ambos; este viaje ahora de dos personas, nos permite hacer un recuento del pasado y dónde nos enseña la vida de muchas personas en principal dos personajes el cual uno por el videojuego tiene una fiel base de fans y el otro solo existe una noción el cual hace que tenga un rol importante sin ni siquiera estar presente; justamente eso pienso que utilizó Craig Mazin para desarrollar la historia no contada de "Bill y Frank".

Last Sunday I witnessed one of the best episodes I have seen in recent months; I know that in other opportunities I have made it clear that last year I was away from the TV series format, but in the few series I had the opportunity to see, I did not witness the great quality of story that had the third episode of The Last of Us, which was named "Long, Long Time " and where we will follow the journey of Joel and Ellie dealing with the loss of Tess and looking for a way to finally hit it off and fulfill the missions they both have; This journey now of two people, allows us to make a recount of the past and where it shows us the lives of many people in the main two characters which one by the video game has a loyal fan base and the other only exists a notion which makes it have an important role without even being present; just that I think that used Craig Mazin to develop the untold story of "Bill and Frank".

Este episodio fue dirigido por Peter Hoar quien ha trabajado en series como "Daredevil", "The Umbrella Academy", "Doctor Who" y la series de HBO, "It's a Sin"; en este episodio tiene la libertad de trabajar creando sorprendentes imágenes que las puede disfrutar tanto los fans del videojuego como los que están descubriendo está historia por la serie. Nuevamente en esta producción no temen en mostrar fieles escenografías e imágenes que son copia de versión que funciona como base para esta producción televisiva; eso lo valoro mucho y en este tercer episodio me gustó que siguieran haciendo eso y para ser sincero, en mi opinión se hizo mejor que el episodio anterior. Cada escena creada en dónde podemos observar lugares tranquilos, solitarios, enfocados en dos personajes, en dónde la luz y la oscuridad son parte de la historia, hace que nos enfocamos en detalles que roza la perfección.

En los anteriores dos episodios, encontramos como prólogo dos relatos sumamente terroríficos, los cuales nos muestra primero un posible final de la humanidad y después nos enseña que la esperanza está perdida porque no existe una solución, pero imagino que Mazin se preguntó ¿Qué pasó en los días y años después de la aparición de la pandemia? ¿Existe otra historia que contar? Y sí que la había porque al tener personajes que nunca fueron profundamente desarrollos, entonces existe una puerta que brinde oportunidades a relatar historias maravillosas como es la de "Bill" y "Frank" la cual nunca sentí que fuera algo fuera de esta serie y no lo digo por la aparición de personajes conocidos de la serie, sino que justamente la aparición de esta enfermedad y posteriormente el fin del mundo es lo que da la posibilidad de que estos personajes puedan conocerse y es que seguramente su historia sin ese acontecimiento hubiera sido completamente diferente.

This episode was directed by Peter Hoar who has worked on series such as "Daredevil", "The Umbrella Academy", "Doctor Who" and the HBO series, "It's a Sin"; in this episode he has the freedom to work creating amazing images that can be enjoyed by both fans of the video game and those who are discovering this story through the series. Again in this production they are not afraid to show faithful scenographies and images that are a copy of the version that works as a base for this TV production; I value that a lot and in this third episode I liked that they kept doing that and to be honest, in my opinion it was better than the previous episode. Each scene created where we can observe quiet, lonely places, focused on two characters, where light and darkness are part of the story, makes us focus on details that borders on perfection.

In the previous two episodes, we find as prologue two extremely terrifying stories, which first shows us a possible end of humanity and then teaches us that hope is lost because there is no solution, but I imagine that Mazin wondered what happened in the days and years after the onset of the pandemic? Is there another story to tell? And yes there was because having characters that were never deeply developed, then there is a door that provides opportunities to tell wonderful stories such as that of "Bill" and "Frank" which I never felt was something out of this series and I do not say this because of the appearance of known characters of the series, but precisely the appearance of this disease and then the end of the world is what gives the possibility that these characters can meet and surely their story without that event would have been completely different.

La participación de Pascal en el segundo episodio fue breve, pero correcta; en este episodio su trabajo también fue breve, pero el nivel es mucho mayor, más que nada en las escenas finales del episodio, donde debe derrumbar los muros que ha creado y eso hace que el personaje de Ellie pueda sentirse más a gusto y es que Ramsey, trabaja mejor mientras su personaje tiene más protagonismo, en esta oportunidad nuevamente fue perfecto enseñando a una adolescente descubrir el mundo a pesar de sus horrores. Ahora es momento de referirme a los verdaderos protagonistas de este episodio, me refiero a "Bill" interpretado por Nick Offerman y "Frank" interpretado por Murray Bartlett; quiero en este momento escribir sobre el impacto que tuvieron estos dos personajes desde su encuentro y que potencia a este episodio a un nivel muy alto; el compromiso que tiene ambos en hacer que sus personajes creen una simbiosis, unión, un apoyo y justamente eso es lo que hace importante a esta historia en dónde cualquier rasgo de humanidad ha desaparecido y lo que viven ellos dos es lo que posiblemente personas esperan vivir en sus vidas, así sea una época la cual será inolvidable.

Días después de ver Long, Long Time, trataba de pensar en que otra serie pueda tener un episodio en dónde el amor sea el combustible para que una persona haga lo imposible para vivir lo que nunca ha vivido y justamente después de volver a ver este tercer episodio en la anoche de ayer pensé primero en "The Constant", quinto episodio de la cuarta temporada de la serie "LOST"; en mi opinión es una de las historias que más me han conmovido junto a "Kiksuya" octavo episodio de la segunda temporada de "Westworld"; estás historias puedo compararlas por cómo el amor se convierte en un motivo para sobrevivir, para ser mejor persona, para cambiar. Este episodio demostró lo que puede ser esta historia la cual se tomará el tiempo para desarrollar la historia de sus protagonistas y valoro eso porque no se puede mostrar todo y después caer en una simple repetición en cada episodio y enseña a los fans del videojuego que esto se hará diferente porque al final es un nuevo producto basado en otro que fue exitoso y que ahora necesita hacer algo nuevo para captar la atención de otro tipo de público y por los ratings que se demuestran, se está logrando.

Days after watching Long, Long Time, I was trying to think of another series that could have an episode where love is the fuel for a person to do the impossible to live what he has never lived and just after rewatching this third episode last night I thought first of "The Constant", fifth episode of the fourth season of the series "LOST"; in my opinion it is one of the stories that moved me the most together with "Kiksuya" eighth episode of the second season of "Westworld"; I can compare these stories because of how love becomes a reason to survive, to be a better person, to change. This episode showed what can be this story which will take the time to develop the story of its protagonists and I value that because you can not show everything and then fall into a simple repetition in each episode and teaches fans of the video game that this will be done differently because in the end it is a new product based on another that was successful and now needs to do something new to capture the attention of another type of audience and by the ratings that are shown, it is being achieved.

El pasado domingo se estrenó el segundo episodio de la nueva serie de HBO el cual por diferentes obligaciones pude ver el día de ayer; este episodio llamado "Infected" tiene un factor principal el cual es que está dirigido por Neil Druckmann el cual es conocido por ser el director creativo y escritor del videojuego del cual está basado la serie; mis expectativas estaban en ver el estilo de dirección de Druckmann, pero en realidad quería ver aún más al personaje de "Elli", ya que en el pasado episodio su participación fue breve, pero para mi sorpresa, en esta oportunidad todas las miradas estarían puestas en el personaje de "Tess".

Last Sunday was released the second episode of the new HBO series which due to different obligations I was able to watch yesterday; this episode called "Infected" has a main factor which is that it is directed by Neil Druckmann who is known for being the creative director and writer of the video game which the series is based on; my expectations were to see the directing style of Druckmann, but I really wanted to see even more of the character of "Elli", since in the last episode her participation was brief, but to my surprise, this time all eyes would be on the character of "Tess".

El primer episodio está relatado desde el punto de vista de "Joel" interpretado por Pedro Pascal y por eso en mi reseña me enfoqué primeramente en su actuación y en resaltar el gran trabajo en llevar un videojuego a una versión de acción-real y segundo, resalté el gran trabajo de ese actor y la evolución de su personaje el cual fue gravemente afectado por la perdida que tuvo; justamente eso me hizo que obviar el trabajo realizado por Anna Torv quien interpreta a "Tess" la cual es una mujer muy valiente, fuerte, decidida, pero que también se nota en su rostro de que ha perdido mucho; este personaje es uno de los protagonistas principales de este episodio y es que desde su punto de vista es que se narra esta parte de la historia.

The first episode is told from the point of view of "Joel" played by Pedro Pascal and that's why in my review I focused firstly on his performance and highlighting the great work in bringing a video game to an action-real version and secondly, I highlighted the great work of this actor and the evolution of his character who was severely affected by the loss he had; just that made me obviate the work done by Anna Torv who plays "Tess" which is a very brave, strong, determined woman, but you can also see in her face that she has lost a lot; this character is one of the main protagonists of this episode and it is from her point of view that this part of the story is narrated.

Este episodio hay un tema que envuelve a Tess (quien lidera este episodio) y a los terroríficos "clickers" que son parte del mundo desde hace veinte años; ese tema en específico es la esperanza y en este episodio que me pareció sumamente corto podemos ver diferentes maneras de como los seres humanos pueden lidiar con eso. En un mundo donde la normalidad se perdió en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, la esperanza no existe desde hace mucho tiempo y eso es muy bien referenciado en este segundo episodio cuando nos demuestra los estragos que causaron la infección del hongo Cordyceps; eso es en un principio porque como parece, dependiendo quien relate la historia, diferentes puntos de vista serán quienes dictamen si el mundo de ahora existe o no la posibilidad de crear un mejor futuro; justamente eso es lo que percibí en "Infected" que nuevamente usa el terror como parte de la narración, un terror que demuestra que el fin está cerca y otro en dónde al enfrentarlo de igual manera puede ser el fin.

Otra característica positiva del episodio fue el trabajo de Druckmann que posiblemente considere como uno de los mejores usos del fanservice que he visto; esto lo digo porque al revisar varias comparaciones entre las escenas de la serie y del videojuego, se nota el cuidado y lo correcto del trabajo de este director y sé que no debería esperar menos de quién es el creador del videojuego, pero en mi opinión lo veo como un padre el cual quiere que su hijo, su creación tenga la mejor versión de sí, una en dónde no exista nada externo que lo cambie y es por eso que estoy convencido de que la imagen de la paternidad es fundamental en este episodio, ya que tanto "Joel" como "Tess", toman ese rol de padre y madre sobre "Ellie"; eso me pareció adecuado para este episodio porque nuevamente el tema de la esperanza es algo que va unido al sentimiento de ser padre y como dije en anterioridad, estos personajes adultos han perdido mucho y con "Ellie" tienen la posibilidad de salvar al mundo, en especial a ellos mismos.

This episode there is a theme that involves Tess (who leads this episode) and the terrifying "clickers" that have been part of the world for twenty years; that specific theme is hope and in this episode that I found extremely short we can see different ways of how humans can deal with that. In a world where normality was lost in the blink of an eye, hope has not existed for a long time and that is very well referenced in this second episode when it shows us the havoc caused by the Cordyceps fungus infection; that is in the beginning because as it seems, depending on who is telling the story, different points of view will be the ones who will decide if the world now exists or not the possibility of creating a better future; that is exactly what I perceived in "Infected" that again uses terror as part of the narration, a terror that shows that the end is near and another one where facing it can be the end.

Another positive feature of the episode was the work of Druckmann which I possibly consider as one of the best uses of fanservice I've seen; I say this because when reviewing several comparisons between the scenes of the series and the video game, you can see the care and correctness of the work of this director and I know I should not expect less from who is the creator of the video game, but in my opinion I see him as a father who wants his son, his creation has the best version of himself, one where there is nothing external to change it and that's why I am convinced that the image of parenthood is fundamental in this episode, as both "Joel" and "Tess", take that role of father and mother over "Ellie"; that seemed to me appropriate for this episode because again the theme of hope is something that goes hand in hand with the feeling of being a parent and as I said before, these adult characters have lost a lot and with "Ellie" they have the possibility to save the world, especially themselves.

La actuación de Pascal queda en un segundo plano cuando es Anna Torv quien lidera el episodio; ella es importante para esta misión y eso porque de una manera trágica entiende la importancia de "Ellie"; esa unión que tienen estos dos personajes es gracias a las actuaciones de estas dos actrices que es algo natural, en dónde la misma Tess toma un rol el cual se convierte en una vía de información para saber algo más del personaje interpretado por Bella Ramsey y para saber aún más sobre los "clickers" lo cual me siguen pareciendo unas criaturas fascinantes; por ejemplo en el episodio anterior noté que se alimentan de otros humanos, los infectan, propagan la infección, son rápidos y violentos; eso con respecto al comienzo del apocalipsis; ahora veinte años después se observa de así como dice Ellie, están conectados y justamente todo ese rastro que deja el hongo por toda la ciudad, les permite estar conectados sin importar que tan lejos están; es una locura verlos atacar y creo que todavía falta muchas otras cosas por ver.

The performance of Pascal is left in the background when it is Anna Torv who leads the episode; she is important for this mission and that because in a tragic way she understands the importance of "Ellie"; that union that these two characters have is thanks to the performances of these two actresses that is something natural, where Tess herself takes a role which becomes a way of information to know something more about the character played by Bella Ramsey and to know even more about the "clickers" which I still find fascinating creatures; for example in the previous episode I noticed that they feed on other humans, infect them, spread the infection, they are fast and violent; this with respect to the beginning of the apocalypse; now twenty years later it is observed as well as Ellie says, they are connected and just all that trail that leaves the fungus throughout the city, allows them to be connected no matter how far they are; it is crazy to see them attack and I think there are still many other things to see.

Este episodio tiene una gran diferencia la cual tiene un ritmo rápido, por supuesto es más corto que el anterior, pero todo sucede muy rápido aunque el relato es perfecto porque se puede captar toda información que brinda entre los diálogos de estos tres personajes; lo otro es lo agradable de ver esta versión actual de los clickers que son un enemigo difícil de superar, tienen desventajas, pero en mi opinión son muy, pero muy peligrosos y ojalá que pronto se sepa mucho más de ellos; lo otro que destacó es las escenografías las cuales son perfectas y que seguro fueron celebradas por los fans del videojuego, pero siendo sincero son muy buenas, en especial la que demuestra esa primera imagen de Ellie y después de Joel y Tess, creo que es un claro ejemplo de lo que se trata ese episodio y es sobre las incógnitas que se tiene sobre esa chica y de su misión en dónde existe la posibilidad de tener un nuevo mundo, un futuro sin una infección y que de comienzo a un cambio positivo; eso me pareció este episodio en dónde la desesperación o la esperanza nos hace creer en sacrificios para tener un día más en el mundo.

This episode has a big difference which has a fast pace, of course it is shorter than the previous one, but everything happens very fast although the story is perfect because you can capture all the information that provides between the dialogues of these three characters; the other thing is the nice thing to see this current version of the clickers that are a difficult enemy to overcome, they have disadvantages, but in my opinion they are very, very dangerous and hopefully soon we will know much more about them; the other thing that stood out is the scenographies which are perfect and were surely celebrated by the fans of the videogame, but to be honest they are very good, especially the one that shows that first image of Ellie and then Joel and Tess, I think it is a clear example of what this episode is about and it is about the unknowns that we have about this girl and her mission where there is the possibility of having a new world, a future without an infection and that starts a positive change; That's what I found in this episode where desperation or hope makes us believe in sacrifices to have one more day in the world.
