In case you haven't heard of it, love death and robots is a series made by Netflix.

The first season came out a couple years ago and consists of 18 episodes, with every episode being an independent story. Furthermore each episode is produced by a different team and as a result there is great variation when it comes to animation, style etc.

And as the name suggests, each episode revolves around love or death or robots or a combination of the three.

It's been a while since I watched the first season but I remember clearly that I enjoyed it a lot! Out of the 18 episodes there were only a couple that were shitty.

So, today I was very excited to start the second season.

Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge disappointment. First of all, this season consists of only 8 episodes which is a huge bummer. Second, most of the episodes felt meh. And lastly, I can think out of my head of at least two episodes that had nothing to do with love or death or robots 😂

Overall, the second season is not super bad but it definitely is a huge disappointment thanks to the expectations we had from the first season.

For this reason I will give it a cow manure out of 10.

Only watch if you have run out of stuff to watch!

Smile.... I have never watched any episode of this movie. I recently saved it in my list of watch later on Netflix. but having season 1 to be great and 2 being shitty is damn not cool mehn... I hope I get to watch it. I am presently watching Cursed at the moment.

I haven't seen anything super awesome come out of netflix recently, something like Narcos, which took the world by storm back in the day for example.

It has shown up in our family "recommended for you" a number of times, but never actually watched any of the episodes... the idea of a series put together of many different people's work is intriguing, though, so I guess it's time to give it a watch, but without too many expectations.

Watched it also, and even though the stories were maybe not the best, I really enjoyed the different animation styles. And the realistic looking ones were like wtf - is this even CGI or is it not, some scenes were so close that I didn't believe I was watching animation 😀

It seems pretty decent to me, you've been watching a lot of series lately, but I guess since the first season was good, there will be a lot of expectations for the second.
