The Blacklist is an NBC series that has been going on for five entire seasons, and the sixth season just had its premiere on NBC in the United States. Have you watched it? Do you like Raymond Reddington and the rest of the crew in the series?
I have taken a break from The Blacklist for a couple of years, but yesterday I did some research on how the series can be streamed on Netflix, and during my research, I watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode in season 6. And do you know what happened? I just realized how much I actually enjoyed the character of Raymond Reddington, played by James Spader. He is fantastic in his role, the way he is calm, funny, but also mysterious and smart!

There have been a few moments in the series when I did not like the way he behaved, but in general, I really like the humor and the brilliance of Raymond Reddington.
Today I got the chance to finish the first episode of season 6, and I understand why I back in the days watched the first three seasons without hesitating. But, for some reason, I took a break from The Blacklist, and even if I have missed out on two seasons, it is really easy to get back into the story and understand what's going on.
I have to admit that James Spader is the main reason for watching the series. I also like the character of Aram (Amir Arison) and Dembe (though we do not see much of him). For some reason, I am not so fond of Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), but I guess I will have to keep up with her since she is the main character of the series together with Raymond Reddington.
Have you seen The Blacklist? Are you a fan of it? I would love to hear your thoughts about the series.
You can watch the first 4-5 seasons of The Blacklist in most Netflix regions, or if you haven't given it a try yet, it is easy to get started. But watch out, you might get totally hooked! If you have watched the first 5 seasons and want to stream the brand new episodes in season 6, you can either do so in some selected Netflix regions or at the NBC website.
