I know it, Amy Schumer isn't exactly the best actor on the earth, and I am not at all a big fan of her movies. But, as I watch her most recent movie, I Feel Pretty, I had a great time, and I even enjoyed the actual message of the movie!
This will be my last Steemit post in 2018, and I hope that the message of I Feel Pretty will follow me throughout 2019. What is that all about?
Amy Schumer isn't exactly the most beautiful girl on earth, and neither is she in this movie. But, one day she is hit in the head and when she wakes up, she thinks of herself as a beautiful and hot girl. She still looks the same, but the change has happened in her head and on her inside. And guess what... in the moment she thinks of herself as a great and good looking girl, she behaves differently, she expects a different treatment, and she is capable of things she hasn't been capable of earlier. And guess what, I had a great time and quite a lot of giant laughs as I watched the movie!
The movie has received quite poor critics on IMDb and on Rotten Tomatoes, but I had a great time watching the movie. In other words, if you want a nice comedy with some good laughs and a good message, I Feel Pretty might be a good choice.
