The movie His & Hers is a 2026 psychological mystery thriller on Netflix, it's a six episode thriller starring Tessa Thompson as journalist Anna Andrews and Jon Bernthal as Detective Jack Harper. This series is a psychological thriller because the storyline really made the viewers think the two people investigating a murder case were the major suspects in this crime, they also suspected each other and the plot twist at the end is a shocking one, I never saw the end coming, an unpredictable movie that made me realize that we always ignore the most quiet and delusional person in the room, but then they should be the major suspect. His & Hers is a six-episode movie that is worth watching.
The story begins with Rachel, an old friend of the journalist Anna, Rachel was found dead and Anna, who's back in town, decides to cover the case and her husband, Jack is the lead investigator in this crime, but both of them seem to suspect themselves of committing this crime and due to their complicated relationship and the issues they face they found it really difficult to trust each other in this case and as the investigation proceeded, their pain, heartbreak, shared history with the dead victims begin to unfold and surface.
As the story unfolds with flashbacks, we begin to see different versions of the past relationships they shared with these victims, we went on and on with different versions of the same story and uncovering the truth and detecting who the killer was becoming really complex. Anna was really determined to know what was killing her friends, because she felt it was going to come for her and her behavior kept making her look like a suspect to the viewers, then Jack wasn't just out to find the truth, but hide certain evidence that would make a suspect, because every death linked to him with an evidence, he was trying to uncover this case and prevent himself from going down for a crime he didn't commit, as a viewer, I almost concluded he committed this crime because question kept rising in my mind.
The character Tessa Thompson as Anna, gives Anna a very strong and quite complicated presence. Anna portrays a woman who's career oriented, ambitious, emotionally betrayed and wounded and a lady who has to regain control over her life again. And the character Jon Bernthalas as Jack, who was so connected to the investigation due to his personal problems , Jack brings many uncertainty and intensity to this story. Jack and Anna know so much about each other and that is why their relationship seemed like a battle.
The setting and atmosphere of this movie are the movie's greatest strength, the location and cinematography made the movie more mysterious and motives difficult to uncover by the viewers. The movie created good suspense, just by mere suspicion and conversation between characters. I really appreciate the plot twist and unpredictable ending in His & Hers
His & Hers is a good mystery thriller, it succeeded in doing what a good mystery thriller should do and kept me glued to my screen, it's really worth watching , the movie gave me the desire to look forward to more. I just wanted to know what would happen next, the eagerness and curiosity to see the end was there till the end of the six episode series.
In conclusion, His & Hers is a thriller full of suspense that's built around distrust, secrets, complicated relationships and conflicting versions of the truth. It's an entertaining and interesting thriller that's definitely worth watching. I will be rating His & Hers (2026) a 80/100, the movie is really worth watching.
