Nobody (2021) is an action thriller movie,directed by Ilya Naishullertha. The movie Nobody (2021) proves that an ordinary looking, calm looking and a regular family man can have an extraordinary buried past. Nobody (2021) is a fast-paced action thriller that got me glued to my screen for a few hours. From the beginning, the movie was like a regular family story, a husband, wife and children trapped in a regular and repetitive life of going to work and kids to school. As the story began to unfold, it became an extremely brutal and entertaining action thriller with very dark humor. The fighting skill was very impressive, with unexpected plot twists and fight sequences.
The main character, Bob Odenkirk, known as Hutch Mansell, is a man who lives an ordinary and quiet life, seems like nobody who isn't capable of fighting or even defending himself. His life is very predictable, he works a regular job and, from the beginning, he seemed to be ignored by his family, especially his wife and son.
On a very peaceful and quiet night, his family was attacked and Hutch decided not to fight them because he figured out it wasn't necessary to fight back. But that decision made him appears weak to his teenage son, who fought back and watched his father allowed the intruders leave , and this was what awaken his past, that was what made him to unveil his past life and awaken a part of him that has been buried for years.
Hutch's transformation from a calm and ordinary man is one of the strongest aspects of this movie, it's a part that made the movie really fun to watch. I really liked the fact that the gradual unfolding of his character, he wasn't unveil as a superhero, but left the viewers curious about his next action for awhile. As his violent past began to unveil, his calm personality began to look like a deception from the beginning. The main character, Hutch, did a great job in portraying both characters, first as a regular family man and a weakling to a well trained fighter who possesses good fighting skill.
The fighting scenes of this movie are really violent, creative, and satisfyingly choreographed. The first fight that showed Hutches skills was on the bus. The scene captured the movie style, it was chaotic, entertaining and also violent/painful to watch. In that fight, Hutch didn't fight like a superhero or an expert. It shows he was just going back to an old habit and was trying to remember his skill while fighting. He gets hurt, he bled and struggled and this made the movie's actions really believable and feel physical.Despise, it is an action movie, I find most scenes hilarious, humor mixed with fighting. Also, watching Hutch's calm personality changing to a character that caused violence and destruction, that was a contract.
Also, the performance of Hutch's father, Christopher Lloydis was one that cannot be ignored. He moved from being a quiet old man who unexpectedly happened to be a very skillful fighter. He got involved with the violence and added humor and surprise to the movie. The main villain of this movie Yulian Kuznetsov, was a worthy opponent for Hutch, his obsession with music made me saw him as a complete joker from the beginning, but he was opposite, a violence man and had an unpredictable character.
The movie, Nobody also has its weaknesses. The movie is unpredictable. For someone who watches action thrillers, it wasn't difficult to uncover the fact that Hutch wasn't just a regular man. I knew there was more to his personality, I knew he was going to approach the villain. The movie focused more on the actions, which came out excellent, but they also neglected character development, especially on the part of Hutches family and relationships. Hutches marriage wasn't explored more thoroughly.
The movie Nobody (2021) is a combination of action, comedy and dark humor , the energy and style of the movie is really enjoyable and worth watching. The main character, Bob Odenkirk's performance, was impressive; he delivered both personalities effortlessly. For action movie lovers who enjoy action movies combined with dark humor, memorable and skillful fight scenes and watching an ordinary protagonist hiding an extraordinary past to live a very normal life, the movie Nobody(2021) is definitely worth watching. I will rate Nobody (2021) 80/100.
