One of my favorite Australian movies and one of the reasons why I love films from the 70s.
I remember watching this film on Netflix, a year or 5 ago. Back then, there was a series of interesting cult movies on there. Not sure what happened to that section. It probably wasn't 'popular' enough.
This is one of the rawest movies that I've ever seen, mixing realism and fiction in such a way that you wonder whether the live action you're watching is literal live action. Fiction seems to blend into documentary, while you slowly become part of it.
Highly recommended!
Here's its trailer:
Have you seen this film? If so, how did you like it? What is your opinion on Australian cinema? Any recommendations?
##### Some other Australian movies that I like a lot are: The Mad Max Series, Walkabout, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Razorback and Rabbit Proof Fence.
