Alien es un Film creado por el director Ridley Scott y escrita por Dan O'Bannon el cual fue como el genio creativo de la cinta y quien dio vida al alien que todos conocemos, el elenco de actores estaba conformado por Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm y Yaphet Kotto. Destacando sin lugar a dudas la gran actuación de Sigourney Weaver en el papel de la tercera capitán a bordo de la nave “Ellen Ripley”.

El terror sin duda es uno de los factores más logrado de la película, junto al apartado de los efectos visuales, y la criatura, vaya en un principio pensé que notaria lo falso del disfraz y hasta pensé lo cutre o lo malo que pudiera ser, pero que va el alíen se siente mas vivo que nunca, el ambiente de tensión que crea en torno a el es fascinante y muy bien logrado. La ambientación ayuda mucho, la paleta de colores oscuros hace que se resalten las escenas de miedo, y admito que verla si da esa sensación en el pecho de terror, al saber que la criatura ronda por allí y que está cazándote como la presa son los protagonistas.
The terror is undoubtedly one of the most successful factors of the film, along with the visual effects, and the creature, at first I thought I would notice the false costume and even thought how crappy or bad it could be, but that goes Alien feels more alive than ever, the atmosphere of tension that creates around it is fascinating and very well achieved. Y la cinematografía cada plano en la película hace meterte de lleno en la historia, como realiza los planos secuencias en una persecución, o como el zoom muestra la cara de horror de los tripulantes y su cansancio por la situación, estos detalles le dan personalidad y credibilidad a nuestra historia.
Finally, something that I would like to highlight is the sound effects and cinematography, the sound effects in each scene are pure art, a sound that I will never forget is that of the planet that our protagonist visited, that deafening noise that rumbled in my ears and even bothered me to some extent, all to make part of the setting. Pero no todo es felicidad la película tiene ciertos errores en el apartado de la historia, en algún punto del comienzo la historia, comienza con un ritmo ciertamente lento para mi opinión, ya que luego a mitad de la película y cuando comienza la acción, la película pareciera que fuera a un ritmo acelerado y hasta algunas escenas me resultaron que fueron cortada para ahorrar tiempo quizás, según he leído algunos elementos del guion de Dan O'Bannon fueron descartado para darle mas fluidez al film, quizás esto corto cierto elementos importantes, pero en fin esto no le quita el merito en nada y la historia se vuelve muy entretenida, asi que quiero calificar a Alien con un…..
