A Thriller Drama: Through The Darkness

source

I can't remember, since when I addicted with thriller movie and drama, especially the content has investigation scene. Yup, although I'm not interest to be pyshicopath, I addicted with that genre.

Did you know that nowadays I'm on deadline. My second online novel was a thriller drama, so I need some reference to accomplished that novel. So, I've been watched several drama in thriller and investigation drama.

They were had 12th eposides and I just finished all episode and I want to share the summary of this korean drama.

Story About A Profiler, Make Us Know About Psychopath's Mind

Song Ha Young child, accidently drowning in the river when he with his mom. In the river, he saw a woman in red dress. Not long, he is being saved and then the scene showed a woman (that he seen in the river ) being victim of murder. Since then, Song Ha Young can see something that he has no before. It was the shadow of murder.

When he was grew up, he is being a police officer in investigation division. He and his team then covering several case. With his ability, Song Ha Young then express what he's seeing to their leader but it never be accepted. Then somehow Song Ha Young choose quit from that division and join to another team in crime headquarters division, but their team was underground. There's a core team. Their team has duty to profiling the murder. Before chasing the suspect, they will make the profiling about the suspect by their investigation. If that suspect was been caught, they would be interviewed the suspect and write it down.

The scenes are mostly about psychopath who's murder several victim. They were more than 1 person. So there's so many psychopath character in this drama. All psychopath one by one by be reviewed by Song Ha Young. Day by day, Song Ha Young has get emotion, angry to each suspect.

FYI, after Song Ha Young was drowning in his childhood, he was a human being without emotion. He's never smile, never cry, never angry, but gloomy.

Watching This Drama Cause Kim Nam Gil

I am not a Kim Nam Gil fan, but the reason I watched this drama is not because the drama, it also because Kim Nam Gil. I don't watch much of his dramas. In the back then I watched Queen Sendeok* but Kim Nam Gill come almost in the middle episodes, so I can't into it. After that, I forgot about that drama but I know that he is one of high quality actor in Korea so his drama will be good drama, my expectation.

Through The Darkness was not bad drama but isn't that good drama. Cause almost in all episode I can't into it. Especially in early episodes, I even don't know this drama is like that. I can't relate. Might be it because the Song Ha Young was a profiler without any emotion so It is not that challenged.

In several last episodes, Song Ha Young showed his emotion, it because of beer that he was drunk. Then in his interviewed to suspects, Song Ha Young would said something that make suspects' angry. He is savage.

This drama is not drama with famous co-cast. The writer was bolding the character of Song Ha Young and the suspect was. Meanwhile for all investigator, mostly like flash back and I can't relate to any character.

The best part of this drama was the scenes when the suspect murder the victim. It was the scary scene but it was the point, or the highlight of this drama.

From 5 stars, I give two cause the story line and the main carachter isn't that strong.

Thanks for read my review and happy fasting...
