CineTV Contest #37: Extreme Job

Review by @viviehardika · 1336d · of Extreme Job

I'm always excited to enter contests at the Cine TV community. The theme that is carried is very interesting every week. This made me recall what films I've seen, of course, the ones that matched the theme.

This week the theme is work, and I immediately thought of this movie, Extreme Job.

This is a film from my favorite genre, criminal investigation. Besides that, the lineup of players is also my favorite actor. I watched this film because of Gong Myung, a young actor who is always a sad boy in dramas, then Lee Honey who is beautiful and brings comedy characters in several films, there is Lee Dae Hwi who has been popular since Reply 1989, also Ryu Seung-ryong who played Dad in the movie Miracle no. 7, are why I watched this film.

So my favorite type of work in movies about work is a Narcotics detective.

let's get it!

Extreme Job

---

Extreme Job tells the story of the careers of five detectives who are in danger of ending because of failure after failure they experience in catching international drug kingpins. Those who are led by Detective Go are also given the last chance to complete their mission.

They finally disguised themselves by buying a fried chicken shop near their target's headquarters. To make sure their disguise is successful, these five detectives go deep into their roles as fried chicken sellers. Unintentionally, their shop was crowded with visitors and made the five detectives forget for a moment their main purpose of selling fried chicken.

This is an action comedy film starring South Korea's top-class players. Although there is more than one cast, the distribution is very fair where none of the characters has a character that is not strong. The five main roles in this film are equally strong.

The sense of comedy in this film is delivered in a light but stomach-churning way. The five detectives who we think will have rigid personalities, in this film the characters of the five detectives are very naive and funny.

But when dealing with the narcotics mafia, the film becomes very gripping. The action shown is so intense. I love how Lee Honey's character works. She is the only woman in this film but there is nothing special about this film. The role of Lee Honey is not the type of heroine role from romantic films. He joins the fight and does something to make him laugh.

This film changed my assessment of previous South Korean films. Previous Korean films mostly had absurd plots so I had to really consider the film I was going to watch. This film is very interesting.

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of them are romance.

Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author.

True, extremely nice, movies which change our thinking of others movies, the five detective came to like the selling fried Chicken than their job, how things took place. Nice review and glad you share it, I will make sure to watch the movie.
