It's been almost a month since I shared posts about anime in The Anime Realm community because, for one reason or another, I'm busy at work, but this time, I'm free and will share my experiences and reviews of the anime I just finished watching some time ago.
In the beginning of 2024, I spent weekends watching ongoing anime and several anime that were just released in January, one of which I will discuss in this post, called Mashle: Magic and Muscle, which just released its Season 2 at the beginning of January 2024. I've seen this anime broadcast on social media because lots of people are discussing it, at first I wasn't interested because the main character's stature wasn't included in the character references that I liked, but in the end, when Season 2 of the Mashle anime aired I became curious and automatically included it in on the weekly watch list.
I started with the first season which was released around May 2023, after watching the first few episodes, I was instantly amazed by this anime. Mashle: Magic and Muscle is an anime adapted from a famous Korean Manhwa with a depiction that spoils the reader's eyes, in my opinion, it tells the story of a boy who lives in a world where all life is related to magic.

Mashle: Magic and Muscle is an anime adapted from a famous Korean Manhwa with a depiction that spoils the reader's eyes, in my opinion, it tells the story of a boy who lives in a world where all life is related to magic. At first, I thought so, but it turned out to be wrong, the Mashle anime comes from the Manga with the same title by Hajime Komoto. Mash Burnedead is a boy who likes eclairs and spends his time lifting weights, when he is hit by a problem, he is required to enter a magic school so that his peaceful life can return.

Let me tell you a little about myself, I was originally the type of person who was anti-Korean culture, both in terms of culture and entertainment, because I loved Japanese culture and everything in it. I only watch anime and read manga, as time goes by and I get older, I become a more compromising person and look for whatever shows I like from anywhere. One day, I fell in love with one of the very famous Manhwa, called Solo Leveling, at first I thought that Mashle was a Manhwa, because from the first look, I saw it had a Korean feel, and it turned out I was wrong.
At first, I thought I would be bored with boys' stories with a concept from zero to hero like this anime, but it turns out I was wrong. Even though at the beginning of watching this anime I felt familiar with the nature of the main character, after a few episodes passed I was amazed by this anime, the comedy and innocence displayed by Mash Burnedead made this anime worth watching.
One of the unique points that I like about this anime is the naming of the characters in it, almost all the characters in the Mashle anime have Western or European names, and there are not many characters with Japanese names. I like this naming concept, it feels fresh to me, a few names like Rayne Ames, Abel Walker, Lance Crown, and Abyss Razor are names that I think are cool and fit the theme of the wizarding world.
From a visual perspective, I like the character design in the Mashle anime because it was done by a proper studio and executed well, as viewers our eyes are spoiled with rich visuals, especially during the duel scenes between magic users, even though I don't like the lines that mark them to someone's magic power but that's what makes Anime Mashle have its characteristics.

Maybe there are some points that I don't like about this anime, such as several scenes in the story of this Mashle anime that are easy to predict how things will go, and the character Mash with his innocent attitude which at first glance reminds me of the character Saitama in the anime One Punch Man.
In my opinion, this anime gives a different impression from anime of a similar genre, the world of magic with all its complexity will make the audience feel bored, but as long as I watch this anime I am always entertained by all the events that Mash and her friends do.
This is a suitable anime for you to watch, and I highly recommend adding it to your watch list. The story about a boy who can use his physical abilities to cover up his biggest shortcomings is one of the messages that stuck with me after watching this anime, the resistance of minorities in demanding justice by fighting the existing system made me admire Mashle: Magic and Muscle. Even though I was late in watching it, I was happy because this anime was already running in Season 2, so I didn't have to wait long to watch it. I made this review based on my views after watching, everything I write in this post is my personal opinion as a viewer.
