Our protagonist, Subaru Mikazuki, is a 23-year-old writer, who is introverted and prefers solitude; after losing his parents in a tragic and unfortunate accident, he closes himself even more to the outside world and does not seek to interact with others. When he visits his parents' grave, he finds a stray kitten who, at that moment, gives him the inspiration he so desperately needs to continue writing, he decides to adopt her.
But how could he take care of her, if he has never taken care of anyone else in his life? When you see little interaction between the two, it makes you doubt if he is really the one who takes care of her, or the kitten takes care of him. Even so, little by little, they will understand each other and see each other's needs, opening up to the world, creating new bonds with others, showing how an animal can heal a wounded soul.
Personal opinion
What can I say about this anime? It touched many fibers in me, several episodes made me cry, because when you have pets in your life, you know how important and essential they are for you, they are the family you didn't know you needed. In particular, I had depressive moments and if I hadn't had my dogs, I don't know what would have become of me, so I feel identified with the protagonist.
Although there are moments they live that become trivial, do not doubt that it will connect with the viewer, because it shows how in small insignificant things, if you have a friend by your side, they become the happiest and trust will grow more and more. The fact that the story has been told from the human's and the cat's point of view, makes it emotional, because we are introduced to how the lives of both are changing, we go deeper into them.
It may be a simple plot, however, it is rewarding how they manifest that beautiful relationship that exists between a person and an animal, how is that healing process with oneself, not to live with regrets but to appreciate what we have been given and bring out the best in oneself. Subaru and Haru have found the home they needed, the warmth their life demanded, and after that, a touching evolution of the characters, it doesn't have the best animation and a whoa plot, but it is meaningful and touching.

En cuanto a la trama…
Nuestro protagonista, de nombre Subaru Mikazuki, es un escritor de 23 años de edad, quien es introvertido y prefiere la soledad; tras perder a sus padres en un trágico y lamentable accidente, esto hace que se cierre aun más al mundo exterior y no busque relacionarse con otros. Al visitar la tumba de sus padres, se consigue a una gatita callejera que, al darle en ese momento inspiración, la que tanto necesitaba para seguir escribiendo, decide adoptarla.
Pero, ¿Cómo podría cuidarla, sino nunca en su vida a cuidado a alguien más? Al ver poco la interacción entre ambos, te ponen en duda si en verdad es el que la cuida, o la gatita a él. Aun así, poco a poco, irán comprendiéndose y viendo las necesidades que tiene cada uno, abriéndose entonces al mundo, creando a su vez nuevos lazos con otros, enseñando como un animal llega a curar un alma herida.
Opinión personal
¿Qué puedo decir de este anime? Tocó muchas fibras en mí, varios episodios me hicieron soltar lágrimas, porque cuando tienes mascotas en tu vida, sabes lo importante e imprescindible que son para uno mismo, es la familia que no sabias que necesitabas. En lo particular, tuve momentos depresivos y sino hubiese tenido a mis perritos, no sé qué sería de mí, por lo que me siento identificada con el protagonista.
Aunque existen momentos que viven que se vuelven triviales, no duden en que conectará con el espectador, pues manifiesta el cómo en las pequeñas cosas insignificante, si tienes a un amigo a tu lado, se vuelven los más felices y la confianza crecerá cada vez más. El hecho de que la historia se ha contado desde la visión del humano y desde la gata, la vuelve emotiva, porque nos adentran a como la vida de ambos está cambiando, nos profundizan en ellos.
Puede que sea una trama sencilla, no obstante, resulta gratificante el como manifiestan esa relación tan hermosa que existe entre una persona y un animal, el como es ese proceso de sanación con uno mismo, el no vivir con arrepentimientos sino apreciar lo que nos han dado y sacar lo mejor de uno mismo. Subaru y Haru han encontrado el hogar que necesitaban, el calor que exigía su vida y, tras ello, una evolución conmovedora de los personajes, no tiene la mejor animación y una trama de whoa, pero es significativa y conmovedora.

Para aquellos que tenga alguna mascota en su vida, les tocará profundo este anime, incluso si no tienen, es una historia con una calidez muy bonita, donde se aprecian los momentos entre un humano y su querida gatita.
