Clamp, a Japanese mangaka group well known for the various projects that have been famous throughout the anime community, among those CardCaptor Sakura, Chobits and many more. I remember that I had seen Tsubasa Chronicle, another of the works of this group and certain characters of the same series had a crossover in the anime of Kobato, the same of which I will be reviewing, being the reason why I initially ended up watching it and it was the best, because it is a very beautiful anime.

Anime that premiered in 2009, under the direction of Mitsuyuki Masuhara and the Madhouse studio. It is of Fantasy genre, shojo demography and is an adaptation of the manga of the Clamp group, which bears the same title.

---Hanato Kobato is a sweet and naive girl, who arrives on earth with the purpose of filling a candy pot, and she does not come alone, as she will be accompanied by Ioryogi, a being in the form of a stuffed dog, who has the objective of making her fulfill the mission entrusted to her and thus, obtain her longed-for wish. That jar will only be filled when she helps those people whose hearts are wounded and those wounds will be deposited in that container in the form of candies.
Throughout her mission, she will be able to interact with diverse characters that, with more than one, you will get attached to, among them we have Kiyokazu Fujimoto, Sayaka Okiura and others that, in short, will become special people for the main character and very helpful, especially with the obstacles that will be presented to her throughout the story.

---As in all Clamp's works, the universe of the same is connected, showing us characters from other stories where they will have a short or significant participation for the same and, of course Kobato is not the exception and the animation studio is the same of Sakura Card Captor. Also, there are marked differences between the anime and the manga, so that the animation was more suitable for the public and focused more than everything in the main characters that would be Kobato and Fujimoto, however, if you want to understand more the plot and everything that unfolds in it, I recommend reading the manga, it is very good and the drawing is beautiful and impeccable.
**Personal opinion...**
---Kobato is a sweet story, with endearing characters, bringing with it themes such as the existence of heaven, transmigration/reincarnation and much more that intertwine and take shape with the protagonist. The story may feel simple at the beginning, but as the plot unfolds, the background is much more complicated.
I don't like those characters who say their name in third person to refer to an action of their own, however, with Kobato I don't dislike that tonality with which she handles herself, because she has a charm that attracts you. I love her personality, her kindness and the zero trace of evil she has, she leaves an important mark with the people she touches, it's as if she were a lit candle that illuminates the others.
You may wonder throughout the anime how she managed to end up that way and why her desire is to go somewhere to meet someone, which the manga manages to clarify those questions that, in the animated version, clearly lacks focus, especially the fact that there are many other characters that are not seen that, in the manga, are relevant.
Spoiler alert
Kobato was involved in a battle between the creatures of the other world and the sky, ending up dead, so she was granted the opportunity to have a wish and reincarnate, punishing in turn, those who started the war.
Positive points...
---The story in general is beautiful, the personal stories of each figure that is presented touch your heart. In addition, the animation goes according to it.

---It deals with themes that are a bit complicated to assimilate and that are not approached as in the manga, even the differences are not only quite marked, they do not help to understand the relationships of the characters and their development goes very fast, but it is solved by watching the original work, which brings good drawings and everything is well spun.

I must admit that, on some occasions, certain characters seemed very elongated, details that, in the end, do not harm the story in general. It is a work that could have been better adapted, and not use the base story and form its own denouement, since the original was very developed, although it maintains the essence, it was missing just a little so it is worth seeing it and encourage to understand it.

Clamp, un grupo mangaka japones muy reconocido por los diversos proyectos que han sido famoso en toda la comunidad de anime, entre esos CardCaptor Sakura, Chobits y muchas más. Recuerdo que, había visto Tsubasa Chronicle, otra de las obras de este grupo y ciertos personajes de la misma serie tenían un crossover en el anime de Kobato, mismo del que estaré reseñando, siendo el motivo por el que inicialmente lo terminé viendo y fue lo mejor, porque es un anime muy hermoso.

A lo largo de su misión, logrará relacionarse con diversos personajes que, con más de uno te lograras encariñar, entre ellos tenemos a Kiyokazu Fujimoto, Sayaka Okiura y otros más que, en definitiva, se convertirán en personas especiales para la protagonista y de mucha ayuda, más con los obstáculos que se le presentarán a lo largo de la historia.

---Así como todas en las obras de Clamp, el universo de las mismas se conecta, mostrándonos personajes de otras historias donde tendrán un participación corta o significante para la misma y, por supuesto Kobato no es la excepción y que el estudio de animación, es el mismo de Sakura Card Captor. También, existe diferencias marcadas en lo que respecta al anime con el manga, para que la animación fuese más apta el público y se centrara más que todo en los personajes principales que serian Kobato y Fujimoto, no obstante, si deseas entender más la trama y todo lo que en ello se desenvuelve, recomiendo leer el manga, es muy bueno y el dibujo es hermoso e impecable.
**Opinión personal…**
---Kobato es una historia dulce, con personajes entrañables, trayendo consigo temas como la existencia del cielo, la transmigración/reencarnación y mucho más que se van entrelazan y tomando forma con la protagonista. La historia el inicio puede llegar a sentirse simple, pero, a medida que se va desenvolviendo toda la trama, es mucho más complicado el trasfondo que se maneja en la misma.
No me agrada aquellos personajes que dicen su nombre en tercera persona para hacer referencia a una acción propia, no obstante, con Kobato no me desagrada esa tonalidad con que se maneja, pues tiene un encanto que te atrae. Me encanta la personalidad de la misma, su bondad y el cero rastro de maldad que tiene, va dejando una huella importante con las personas con que se va tocando, es como si fuese una vela encendida que va iluminando a las demás.
Se preguntarán en todo el anime, el cómo ella logro terminar de esa forma y porque su deseo consiste en ir a lugar para encontrarse con alguien, el cual el manga logra esclarecer dichas interrogantes que, en la versión animada, claramente le falta enfocar, sobre todo, el hecho de que, hay muchos otros personajes que no son vistos que, en el manga, son relevantes.

Kobato se vio involucrada en una batalla entre las criaturas del otro mundo y del cielo, terminando muerta, por lo que se le concedió la oportunidad de tener un deseo y reencarnar, castigando a su vez, a aquellos que iniciaron dicha guerra.
Puntos positivos…
---La historia en general es hermosa, los relatos personales de cada figura que se va presentando, te tocan el corazón. Además, que la animación va acorde a la misma.
Puntos negativos…
---Que trata temas un poco complicados de asimilar y que no lo abordan también como en el manga, incluso la diferencias no solo son bastante marcadas, tampoco ayudan a comprender las relaciones de los personajes y su desarrollo va como muy rápido, pero se soluciona viendo la obra original, el cual trae buenos dibujos y todo está bien hilado.

Debo admitir que, en algunas ocasiones, ciertos personajes se veían muy alargados, detalles que, al fin y a cabo, no dañan la historia en general. Es una obra que pudo estar mejor adaptada, y no usar la historia base y formar su propio desenlace, ya que en si la original estaba muy desarrollada, aunque si mantiene la esencia, faltaba solo un poco por lo que, vale la pena verla y animarse a comprenderla.
