It all begins with a ghost, Shin Soon Ae (Kim Seul-gi), a young woman who does not remember anything about when she was alive or how she died, as she believes that she committed suicide some years ago. She has not yet left for the afterlife, apparently because of the grudge she holds, which was dying as a virgin, keeps her tied to the world of the living, so she spends her time possessing from body to body of women to spend a night with a man; actions that ended up failing, as none of them had enough energy to endure her mortal cold. At that moment, a shaman warns her that she runs the risk of being trapped in a human body and becoming an evil spirit, losing her chance to pass to the other world.
We are also introduced to our next protagonist: Na Bong Sun (Park Bo Young), a very shy girl with low self-esteem, being the granddaughter of a shaman, she gets to see the spirits that still roam among the living; causing them many inconveniences from a very young age, adding the loss of her parents at an early age. Bong sun works in a restaurant, her dream is to be a great chef, besides admiring the owner of the restaurant, the chef Kan sun (Jo Junf-sik) who, beyond admiration, is love, but she cannot fulfill her dream, much less dare to express her feelings, because her weak character prevents her from doing so.
After being scolded by her boss and questioned by her coworkers, she decides to quit, however, on her way to her grandmother's house, fate makes her cross paths with Soon Ae, who ends up possessing her. As she was warned, she could not leave the body of the little Bong sun, causing her to take on her role for a while, both in her personal and work life.
Having totally opposite personalities, she turns the lives of all those who cross her path upside down, but, without a doubt, this will not only make our protagonist more self-confident, but also make her dare to come out of her cocoon and appreciate the moment she is living. Likewise, our ghost will be able to solve her problems in this world and learn about the mystery surrounding her death.

Oh my ghost brings us characters that need to evolve many aspects of their lives and that the story develops very well, with natural performances and a great chemistry between all of them. Each one needs to heal their wounds and seek to understand each other, in order to achieve their big dreams. At one point in the plot, I was a little desperate for the protagonist Bong Sun, in terms of the decisions she made because of her low self-esteem, however, as she learned about herself, evolving her character, I ended up liking her. The other point that doesn't convince me or I don't like is the idea that the chef was initially attracted to Soon Ae's personality rather than Bong Sun's. I feel that for the romance part and everything else, they should have emphasized it more in her, so as not to create an emotional dilemma in the audience.
A story that will make you laugh, but will also have its sad scenes, even more, with the background of our ghost and what led her to die. The life lessons that this series teaches you talk about how from one moment to the next, you are no longer part of the living and how your loved ones cope with such a situation; how loving yourself, makes your world more beautiful and full of better opportunities. I was motivated to watch this drama by the lead actress Park Bo Young who, from her previous works, I have liked her performance, playing very well the characters she has played and this one is no exception.

"As always, the seasons change and the days are full of routine. That summer, because of that girl who came and went, like a summer night's dream, we were able to know love and I realized how valuable relationships and people are. As she advised me, today I still love myself completely and I love him too.”
