This time, I opted for a very popular genre in the world of cinema—action—with the 2015 film Spooks: The Greater Good. Written by Jonathan Brackley and Sam Vincent, and directed by Bharat Nalluri. Although the movie received negative reviews, I think it was a decent adaptation for the big screen. It has a fast pace, which I enjoyed, though I have to admit that the beginning felt a bit abrupt to me—that’s the problem with assuming that the entire audience is familiar with the references. From that point on, clues are dropped to reveal who the traitor is, but without giving away too much. A web is woven that aims to draw the viewer in.
It’s a pretty entertaining movie—there are chase scenes, shootouts, and plenty of tension; the action is always there. I think it largely succeeded in keeping you on the edge of your seat, paying attention to every detail.
Kit Harington is a well-known actor for his role in Game of Thrones. Here, I feel like he’s repeating the same formula, but it doesn’t work—because in this scenario, the former secret agent Will Holloway needed to be more energetic. Instead, we have a somewhat passive character; in my opinion, he needed more dramatic intensity.

Aunque la película recibió críticas negativas, considero que fue una adaptación decente para la gran pantalla. Su ritmo es rápido, lo que resultó de mi agrado, aunque he de aceptar que el inicio me pareció un poco abrupto, es el problema de dar por sentado que todo el público conoce los referentes. Desde este momento se dan pistas para develar quien es el traidor, pero sin ofrecer demasiada información. Se va tejiendo una telaraña que pretende envolver al espectador.
Es una película bastante entretenida, hay escenas de persecución, disparos y mucha tensión, la acción siempre está allí. Lo cual considero que se logró en gran medida, tal para estar pendiente de cada detalle.
Kit Harington es un reconocido actor por su papel en Juego de tronos, acá siento que repite la misma fórmula, pero no funciona, pues en este escenario el exagente secreto Will Holloway se requería más enérgico, en cambio tenemos un personaje un tanto pasivo, desde mi apreciación, requería más fuerza interpretativa.
El final me gustó, fue sorpresivo pero realmente necesario, de modo que no quedaran cabos sueltos y la película ofreciera un final de justicia, aunque no sea legal. Muchas veces este término tiene interpretaciones subjetivas, sobre todo, cuando se trata de aplicarla por mano propia.
