Los aliens llegaron al planeta tierra hace aproximadamente 30 años, esta nave llena de miles de aliens aterrizo debido a unas fallas en Johannesburgo, capital de África del Sur. Desde entonces estos seres fueron "recibidos" en el Distrito 9 donde las condiciones de vida son muy deficientes y tendrán que luchar por su supervivencia.
The aliens arrived on planet earth approximately 30 years ago, this ship full of thousands of aliens landed due to faults in Johannesburg, the capital of South Africa. Since then these beings were "received" in District 9 where living conditions are very poor and they will have to fight for their survival.

La organización MNU y algunas pandillas de civiles comienzan a interesarse por las diferentes armas que estos ovnis trajeron, por lo que esta organización encabezada por Wikus deciden realizar un "traslado" de los miles de aliens que habitan el distrito 9, pero, el verdadero objetivo es acumular tantas armas alienígenas que obtendrán a medida que vaya avanzando los desalojos de estos seres, claramente la tendrán muy difícil, ya que para que funcionen estas armas necesitan del ADN de los aliens.
The MNU organization and some gangs of civilians begin to be interested in the different weapons that these UFOs brought, so this organization headed by Wikus decides to carry out a "transfer" of the thousands of aliens that inhabit district 9, but the real objective is to accumulate as many alien weapons that they will obtain as the evictions of these beings progress, clearly they will have a very difficult time, since for these weapons to work they need the DNA of the aliens.

Esta interesante película de ciencia ficción fue estrenada en el año 2009 de la mano del director Neill Blomkamp que en ese entonces no era conocido y del productor Peter Jackson, quien es conocido por producir El Hobbit y El Señor de los Anillos, Distrito 9 tiene una duración de 1 h 52 m y la pueden encontrar en Netflix con el nombre de Sector 9.
This interesting science fiction movie was released in 2009 by the director Neill Blomkamp who was unknown at the time and the producer Peter Jackson, who is known for producing The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, District 9 has a duration of 1h 52m and can be found on Netflix under the name of Sector 9.

Sector 9 o Distrito 9 fue una película que vi hace poco menos de 1 mes y me llamo mucho la atención debido a que no es la típica película a la que estamos acostumbrados con movimientos de cámaras super profesionales y con tomas perfectas, acá no tendremos esto, ya que, tiene ese toque de ser un documental grabado por una sola cámara.
Sector 9 or District 9 was a film that I saw a little less than 1 month ago and it caught my attention because it is not the typical film that we are used to with super professional camera movements and perfect shots, here we will not have this , since, it has that touch of being a documentary recorded by a single camera.

Otra de las cosas que llamo mas mi atencion fue que era una pelicula de Alienigenas que no estaba ambientada en los Estados Unidos, como siempre sucede; Distrito 9 fue filmada en Johannesburgo, la capital de Africa del Sur. Es una película que tuvo muy bajo presupuesto, pero al final termino siendo una película bastante buena, con una trama muy interesante y con unos personajes muy buenos.
Another thing that caught my attention was that it was an Aliens movie that was not set in the United States, as always happens; District 9 was filmed in Johannesburg, the capital of South Africa. It's a movie that had a very low budget, but in the end it ended up being a pretty good movie, with a very interesting plot and some very good characters.

Su trama al principio resulta confusa, la película comienza muy lento mostrándonos entrevistas que se le hicieron a los miembros de la MNU y algunos familiares de Wikus Van de Merwe; sinceramente el que inicie de esta manera fue un plus para mantenerte con la vista fija en la pantalla y con ganas de saber que fue lo que sucedió en realidad. A medida que va avanzando va cobrando fuerza y la trama va mejorando cada vez más hasta llegar a un punto en que te explota la cabeza, todas aquellas preguntas que se te van generando van siendo respondidas casi de golpe, lo cual es bastante genial.
Its plot is confusing at first, the film starts very slowly showing us interviews that were made to the members of the MNU and some relatives of Wikus Van de Merwe; Honestly, the one that started in this way was a plus to keep you staring at the screen and wanting to know what really happened. As it progresses, it gains strength and the plot improves more and more until you reach a point where your head explodes, all those questions that are generated are being answered almost at once, which is pretty cool.

Los personajes son interesantes, al principio Wikus me colocaba de los nervios, pero poco a poco vas sintiendo cada uno de los sentimientos que el actor Sharlto Copley te intenta transmitir, también tenemos de Christopher Johnson quien es un aliens que solo quiere ayudar a su pueblo; este personaje fue interpretado por Jason Cope y fue uno de mis favoritos. Por último tenemos a Koobus Vente interpretado por David James y creo que fue una elección acertada para interpretar al sádico con ganas de masacrar langostas, cada uno de los personajes estuvieron muy bien interpretados y cada uno de ellos le da el toque para que sea una película increíble.
The characters are interesting, at first Wikus got on my nerves, but little by little you feel each of the feelings that the actor Sharlto Copley tries to convey to you, we also have Christopher Johnson who is an alien who only wants to help his people ; this character was played by Jason Cope and was one of my favorites. Finally we have Koobus Vente played by David James and I think he was a wise choice to play the sadist who wants to slaughter lobsters, each of the characters was very well played and each of them gives it the touch to make it a movie incredible.

En conclusión, Distrito 9 es una de las mejores películas de aliens que he visto a lo largo de los años; te engancha en el momento en que comienza hasta que termina y te hace pensar muchísimo sobre como somos en realidad los seres humanos y el cómo nosotros mismos somos destructivos para nuestro planeta. Es una película que te dejara con ganas de más y esperamos que después de 13 años logren estrenar Distrito 10, Recomiendo a ojos cerrados esta película porque vale muchísimo la pena. Mi Puntuación Final es dé.
In conclusion, District 9 is one of the best alien movies I've seen over the years; It hooks you from the moment it starts to the moment it ends and makes you think a lot about how human beings really are and how we ourselves are destructive to our planet. It is a film that will leave you wanting more and we hope that after 13 years they will be able to release District 10. I recommend this film with closed eyes because it is very worthwhile.
