La Familia Gordon decide mudarse hasta el pueblo más seguro de Nueva York, Bridge Hollow. Al llegar a su nuevo hogar ven que todas las casas vecinas ya están decoradas con temática de Halloween y en la noche de celebración Sydney descubre una lámpara en forma de calabaza y al encenderla libera el espíritu de Jack, el tacaño el cual le dará vida a cada una de las decoraciones de sus vecinos, por lo que Sydney junto a Howard tendrán que luchar para regresar a Jack y salvar al pueblo de Bridge Hollow.

The Gordon Family decides to move to the safest town in New York, Bridge Hollow. Upon arriving at their new home they see that all the neighboring houses are already decorated with Halloween theme and on the night of celebration Sydney discovers a lamp in the shape of a pumpkin and when lighting it releases the spirit of Jack, the cheapskate which will give life to each of the decorations of their neighbors, so Sydney and Howard will have to fight to return to Jack and save the town of Bridge Hollow.

Cooper, Nickolas Wolf, Rowan Delana Howard, Stormy Taylor, Lauren Lapkus, Dave Sheridan, Abigail Shapiro, Holly J. Barrett, Gordon Tarpley, Doug Dawson, Phoenix Jd Gabe, Stefanie Bari, Catherine Joyce Agan, Sharonda Gilbert.

The Curse of Bridge Hollow is a movie that was recently released on Netflix, it has a duration of 1 h 29 m and it is a comedy and science fiction movie, it was directed by Jeff Wadlow and it starred Marlon Wayans and Priah Ferguson along with David A. En esta película veremos a la familia Gordon mudarse a una pequeña ciudad que está obsesionada con Halloween, esta ciudad tiene una leyenda llamada Jack el tacaño y la casa a la que se mudaron al parecer está embrujada, Sydney luego de que sus nuevos amigos le contaran sobre la famosa médium Hawthorne quien vivió y murió en su hogar, decide investigar mediante una app de la ouija y descubre un cofre que contiene una calabaza con una vela dentro. Este artefacto pertenece a Jack el tacaño y luego de una pequeña lucha con su padre, esta calabaza le da vida a un murciélago de plástico y este pequeño animalito comienza a darle vida a los adornos de las casas vecinas y Sydney junto a Howard tendrán que luchar contra este espíritu travieso para salvar su nuevo hogar y ayudar a sus vecinos.

In this movie we will see the Gordon family move to a small town that is obsessed with Halloween, this town has a legend called Jack the Scrooge and the house they moved to is apparently haunted, Sydney after his new friends told him about the famous medium Hawthorne who lived and died in their home, decides to investigate using a Ouija board app and discovers a chest containing a pumpkin with a candle inside. This artifact belongs to Stingy Jack and after a small fight with his father, this pumpkin gives life to a plastic bat and this little animal begins to give life to the decorations of the neighboring houses and Sydney and Howard will have to fight against this mischievous spirit to save their new home and help their neighbors.

La película tiene un ritmo muy bueno que siempre se mantiene y no decae, la historia es interesante y en algunas ocasiones me recordó sutilmente a la película Abracadabra, tiene una comedia muy buena y que realmente da risa. La Maldición de Bridge Hollow a pesar de ser una película de comedia, tenía un poco de acción y un toque de terror que le daba un plus entretenido a la película.

The movie has a very good pace that always keeps up and doesn't let up, the story is interesting and in some occasions it subtly reminded me of the movie Abracadabra, it has a very good comedy that really makes you laugh. The Curse of Bridge Hollow, despite being a comedy movie, had some action and a touch of horror that gave the movie an entertaining plus.

Siento que esta película es para verla en familia, no dará miedo a pesar de que algunos adornos son un poco espeluznante; el terror lo tiene muy sutilmente y lo que sobresale es la comedia y la acción; no es una historia muy original y no tiene ese boom necesario para que sea la mejor película de Halloween, no llega al nivel de Abracadabra por ejemplo, pero es entretenida de principio a fin y no aburre en ningún momento.

I feel that this movie is for family viewing, it will not be scary even though some of the decorations are a little creepy; the horror is very subtle and what stands out is the comedy and action; it is not a very original story and does not have that necessary boom to be the best Halloween movie, it does not reach the level of Abracadabra for example, but it is entertaining from beginning to end and does not bore at any time.

Me gusto mucho el cómo Howard, a pesar de no creer y no querer para nada la época de Halloween, deja todo eso de lado para apoyar a su pequeña y luchar junto a ella para buscar una solución a este pequeño problema, además de que logra superar uno de sus miedos por lo que siento que la película deja un lindo mensaje a sus espectadores.

I really liked how Howard, despite not believing and not wanting Halloween, leaves all that aside to support his little girl and fight with her to find a solution to this little problem, and he manages to overcome one of his fears, so I feel that the film leaves a nice message to its viewers.

Los personajes son buenos, me gusta mucho el duo que realiza Marlon Wayans (Howard) y Priah Ferguson (Sydney); ambos le dan un toque especial a sus personajes y logras divertirte junto a ellos, me gusta mucho como la relación de padre e hija va dejando ese pequeño roce que se nota al principio y a medida que avanza la historia nos damos cuenta del cariño y el amor que se tienen ambos personajes, Marlon Wayans le da ese punto de comedia característico de él y realmente cada que él hablaba me da risa. El resto de los personajes son muy bueno y le aportan de manera positiva a la película y algo que me sorprendió es que Kelly Rowland (Emily) es actriz y sinceramente pensé que solo se dedicaba a la música, fue un gran descubrimiento y me gusto mucho su actuación.

The characters are good, I really like the duo of Marlon Wayans (Howard) and Priah Ferguson (Sydney); both give a special touch to their characters and you get to have fun with them, I really like how the relationship of father and daughter is leaving that little friction that is noticeable at the beginning and as the story progresses we realize the affection and love that both characters have, Marlon Wayans gives that point of comedy characteristic of him and really every time he spoke I laughed. The rest of the characters are very good and contribute positively to the film and something that surprised me is that Kelly Rowland (Emily) is an actress and I honestly thought she was only dedicated to music, it was a great discovery and I really liked her performance.

En Conclusión La Maldición de Bridge Hollow es una buena película para ver y disfrutar en familia, el final te deja una posibilidad de que continúe en una segunda entrega y sería interesante ver otra aventura de la familia Gordon, En lo personal si recomendaría esta película para un pequeño maratón de Halloween. Mi Puntuación Final es dé.

In Conclusion The Curse of Bridge Hollow is a good movie to watch and enjoy with the family, the ending leaves you with a possibility that it will continue in a second installment and it would be interesting to see another adventure of the Gordon family, Personally I would recommend this movie for a small Halloween marathon.My final score is give.
