I've been a major follower of most Marvel Studio productions for at least 12 years and I have to admit that the recent releases, from Wonda Vision to Thor have been the worse productions they've ever had.

While I strongly believe that this ruin began after the death of Stan Lee in 2018, a lot of people believe that the ruin is a result of Disney taking control of Marvel productions.
Up until recently, Marvel hardly produced this many movies in such a short period. This year alone, we're seeing at least 4 supposed "blockbusters" that have been nothing but absolute trash compared to what I've known Marvel to be.
Last year, I had a ton of problems with Spiderman: Into the multiverse. I thought it made no sense but a lot of people did it was great so my opinions were considered irrelevant. The next was Dr Strange: Multiverse of madness which was a complete waste of time as well, IMO.
I feel like there's a lot more interest in "wokeness" than actually keeping up with the reality that Marvel has created for us for years. However, publicly discussing these details are seen as not supporting the trends of the 21st century but this is Hive so it shouldn't be much of an issue.
Thor: Love & Thunder
The idea behind this movie was unknown to me. I didn't see the trailer, however, I thought it would be a bit more about bringing Asgard up to speed or maybe even having some stuff to do with the Multiverse but I was wrong.

In this movie, Thor has to fight alongside an army of children who " receive the power of Thor" and have to fight against a man who possesses a sword which makes him a "God killer". Before all that, his old girlfriend becomes "The Mighty Thor" while she dies of cancer and keeps getting weak every time she transforms into Thor.
My review
This was a horrible movie. It kept getting worse by the minute and at the end of it, I was awestruck at how stupid it was.
First of all, Chris Hemsworth was made into such a clown of a character. We've always known Thor to be a comical character but this representation of him was absurd. He's not the smartest but he has never been the dumb guy in the pack.
Secondly, the power of Thor was completely undermined. Thor is a God and I think being able to transfer his power like that was an insult to his Godliness.
Finally, using kids in a supposedly difficult fight was silly. While I understand that transferring the power made them indestructible, the people of Asgard had a tough time fighting against those monsters yet these kids fought them off without getting harmed even a little.
Conclusion and rating
Before I saw this movie, a friend advised me not to see it but I didn't listen so I'm pretty sure telling you not to see it won't change anything either.
I would rate this a 2/10 because I like Chris Hemsworth and I feel this movie might wreck his career. I actually prayed he would die towards the end just to end it all like Iron Man.
