La historia se centra en una casa señorial en las afueras de Londres en la época victoriana, donde el personaje principal es el conde Ciel Phantomhive, un niño de doce años (trece, posteriormente), quien se dedica a resolver los misterios que asolan Inglaterra bajo las órdenes de la reina Victoria junto con su mayordomo, Sebastian Michaelis. La relación que los une a ambos no es simplemente de amo y mayordomo; Sebastian es un demonio que está unido a Ciel a través de un contrato, debido al cual deberá servirlo hasta que este concluya su venganza hacia las personas que asesinaron y mancharon el honor de su familia. Una vez que el contrato se cumpla, Sebastián tomará posesión del alma de Ciel. A lo largo de la historia, Ciel y Sebastian resolverán numerosos misterios y crímenes, mientras se enfrentan a la posibilidad de salir involucrados en el proceso.

The story centers on a manor house on the outskirts of London in Victorian times, where the main character is Count Ciel Phantomhive, a boy of twelve (thirteen, later), who is dedicated to solving the mysteries that plague England under the orders of Queen Victoria along with her butler, Sebastian Michaelis. The relationship that unites the two is not simply one of master and steward; Sebastian is a demon who is linked to Ciel through a contract, due to which he must serve him until he concludes his revenge against the people who murdered and stained the honor of his family. Once the contract is fulfilled, Sebastian will take possession of Ciel's soul. Throughout the story, Ciel and Sebastian will solve numerous mysteries and crimes, while facing the possibility of getting involved in the process.

Me llamo mucho la atención por su trama obscura y por lo que parecía a primera vista sobrenatural, que ciertamente tiene esa esencia pero no tanto como me lo esperaba, me lo imaginaba algo más macabra y turbia siendo sincera, pero el resultado es bueno.

I was very struck by its dark plot and by what seemed at first glance supernatural, which certainly has that essence but not as much as I expected, I imagined it a bit more macabre and murky to be honest, but the result is good.

Podemos ver que la relación entre Sebastian y su “amo” Ciel es algo acida pero le dan esa vibra de yaoi que sin duda engancha a las fujoshi, el cual en este anime en particular no fue mi caso, ciertamente me divertía las situaciones pero ponen a Ciel en situaciones de “peligro” lo cual se me hacía ya tedioso porque era una constante demasiado repetitiva, me hubiera gustado personalmente que algunos de esos escenarios fueran sobre más casos que resolver, porque a mí se hacen de lo más interesantes.

We can see that the relationship between Sebastian and his "master" Ciel is somewhat acidic but they give him that yaoi vibe that certainly hooks the fujoshi, which in this particular anime was not my case, I certainly enjoyed the situations but they put Ciel in situations of "danger" which was already tedious because it was a constant too repetitive, I personally would have liked that some of those scenarios were about more cases to solve, because to me they become the most interesting.

Algunos de los personajes secundarios como la “sevidumbre” de Ciel son unos que ciertamente te dan una sorpresa, siendo tan torpes en sus deberes en la mansión Phantomhive jamás te esperarías que son los encargados de la seguridad de Ciel y que sean tan hábiles es su trabajo cuando se requiere, me hubiera gustado que hubieran tenido más tiempo en escena

Some of the secondary characters such as Ciel's "bondage" are ones that certainly surprise you, being so clumsy in their duties in the Phantomhive mansion you would never expect that they are in charge of Ciel's security and that they are so skilled is their I work when it is required, I wish they had had more time on stage.

Pasamos a los Shinigamis, vemos que con William la relación es de odio mutuo pero aun así llegan a aceptar la ayuda del otro cuando se requiere, con Grell la situación con Sebastián son totalmente distintas, pues el shinigami cada vez que tiene la oportunidad le declara su amor al mayordomo, aunque pasa lo mismo con cualquier hombre atractivo que se le cruce en el camino, vamos con Ronald, me parece que es el más tranquilo, algo despuntual pero se esfuerza en su trabajo ya que quiere tener el mismo nivel que Grell y William pues considera que ellos tienen ventaja, y luego con Undertaker, yo siempre pensé que era un simple sepultero y informante, pues me lleve la sorpresa de que era un shinigami, es mi favorito de los cuatro, sé que hay otros, pero solo opinare de los que son para mí los “principales”.

Vemos que las guadañas que utilizan son muy adelantadas para ser de la época victoriana, un ejemplo es la de Grell que por un lapso de tiempo es una motosierra, o que algunos tiene reloj de muñeca cuando se usaba de bolsillo.

Solo puedo opinar del anime, pues el manga no lo he leído, pero tengo entendido que los escritores del anime se desviaron demasiado del contenido original.

I can only comment on the anime, as the manga I have not read, but I understand that the anime writers deviated too much from the original content.

El anime está producido por A-1 Pictures, el cual como en otras entregas nos muestra una animación preciosa, el cuidado de los detalles de la época, la vestimenta de los personajes y los detalles de los mismos.

Es un anime realmente entretenido, pero a mi parecer le faltaron más capítulos, en mi opinión la historia de Ciel, da para mucho más, el potencial que tenía me parece que fue algo desperdiciado, pues hay algunas situaciones que se me hacen como dije muy repetitivas.

It is a really entertaining anime, but in my opinion it lacked more chapters, in my opinion the story of Ciel, gives much more, the potential it had seems to me that it was something wasted, because there are some situations that occur to me as I said very repetitive.
