Hey everyone, I just finished watching this movie that just arrived on HBO Max. Since I saw the first one when it came out on Prime Video, I was thrilled to see this second installment available, and so we got to see a second part of that story that excited fans and earned the creators' approval. I only know this video game from some parodies and live streams I've seen from players, which made me feel scared because of its dark atmosphere.

Como vi su primera película cuando llegó a Prime Video, me emocioné de ver que esta segunda entrega estaba disponible, y así vimos una segunda parte de aquella historia que emocionó a los fans y que les dio el visto bueno a los creadores. Yo conozco este videojuego solo por algunas parodias y por algunos en vivos de algunos jugadores que llegué a ver, haciéndome sentir miedo por el ambiente tan oscuro que este tiene.
Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a sequel to the first film. In short, it presents the infamous macabre pizzeria with a wonderful atmosphere that truly evokes the unique style of the video game, offering a fantastic presentation of how these animatronics became one of the most popular forms of entertainment, only to be brought to an end by horrific events. We then learn that the animatronics are possessed by the children who were murdered. These children, yearning for freedom, ultimately defeat the killer, but we witness how our protagonists are deeply scarred by everything that happened.
Five Night at Freddy’s 2 es una secuela de la primera película. En donde, en pocas palabras, nos presentan la famosa pizzería macabra con una ambientación maravillosa que sí te recuerda el estilo único del videojuego, con una presentación maravillosa sobre cómo estos llegaron a ser uno de los mejores entretenimientos, y que un día algunos horrendos sucesos lo llevaron a su fin. Luego nos enteramos de que los animatrónicos están poseídos por aquellos niños que fueron asesinados. El caso está en que estos querían ser libres y ellos mismos acaban con el asesino, pero podemos ver cómo nuestros protagonistas son marcados por todo lo ocurrido.
After everything, Abby Schmidt is saddened because these spirits were her friends, leading her to want to find them, only to discover it's all a cruel trap that lands them in trouble again. While it does have some very interesting scenes, and a few moments that gave me a good scare, there were some performances and narrative elements that didn't quite convince me, either because they were over the top or because they felt forced and lacked development. Interestingly, though, all signs point to a third installment, and if it comes out, I'll definitely watch it, but that doesn't convince me they should have left it at the end of the first film, even though we all know there were important characters who hadn't yet appeared.
Pasado todo, Abby Schmidt queda triste porque estos espíritus fueron sus amigos, lo que la lleva a querer buscarlo, pero siendo todo una cruel trampa que los vuelve a poner en problemas. Si bien realmente tiene escenas muy interesantes, y unos que otros momentos que me dieron un buen susto, realmente hubo algunas actuaciones y asuntos narrativos que no me convencieron, bien por exageración o porque no tuvieron un desarrollo que pareció forzado. Pero, interesantemente, aun así, todo apunta a que sí habrá hasta una tercera entrega de esta, y aunque si sale, obvio lo voy a ver, pero eso no me hace convencer de que debieron haberlo dejado en su primera película, aunque todos sabemos que hubo personajes importantes que aún no aparecían.
Among many other things, it's incredibly cool to see Matthew Lillard in these films, as he brings a real spark and presence to this movie. His role evolves from a simple character to the one truly behind everything, making his presence in this film a given.
Entre tantas cosas, es demasiado genial ver a Matthew Lillard en estas películas, siendo el que le da un toque de vida y reconocimiento en esta película. Su papel pasa de ser un simple personaje a ser quien realmente está detrás de todo, por lo que hace obvia la aparición de este gran actor en esta película.
I also love seeing Josh Hutcherson in this movie; I adore him, having seen many fantastic films starring him. And it's worth mentioning how wonderful Mckenna Grace's presence was, especially since I consider her one of the best young actresses working today. I absolutely loved her screaming scene; it was brutal.
También me encanta ver a Josh Hutcherson en esta película, pues me encanta este actor, ya que he visto muchas películas geniales, también protagonizadas por él. Y digno de mención, qué maravilloso también, la presencia de Mckenna Grace me pareció supergenial, en especial porque considero que es de las mejores actrices juveniles que hay hoy en día, y de hecho me encantó su escena de grito, fue brutal.
If you're a big fan of video games and movies, don't hesitate to check out these films that combine classic FNAF elements with cinematic magic.
