I have the pleasure of recommending this incredible animation from the 80's, which will surely surprise more than one for the supreme quality of the animation. Besides serving as an introductory basis for Japanese animations worldwide, the film Akira has as its theme something totally modern, and in constant debate, bitter social criticism, and serving as a good formation of the mind with perfect messages, which require good attention, to know the moral lessons behind. It portrays well this bilateral universe, of social freedom against political repression, where the strength of the people is the basis of success.

Les tengo el placer de recomendar esta increíble animación de los años 80, que seguramente sorprenderá a más de uno por la suprema calidad de la animación. Además de servir como base de introducción para las animaciones japonesas en todo el mundo, la película Akira tiene como tema algo totalmente moderno, y en constante debate, crítica social agria, y sirviendo como una buena formación de la mente con mensajes perfectos, que requieren buena atención, para conocer las lecciones morales detrás. Retrata bien este universo bilateral, de libertad social contra la represión política, donde la fuerza del pueblo es la base del éxito.

All this fits into an animation of about 2 hours, with lots of action, violence and blood, for the more daring; it is certainly not a children's animation. The look further leaves its mark on the film, it's iconic scenes mixed with cyberpunk style, all of which will have you thinking for hours after the end of the film, stirring your mind and opening up new paths of vision in your society. The plot is set in Neo-Tokyo, in the futuristic year 2019. This city of Tokyo is surrounded by violence, sex and action, being part of a city rebuilt after a Third World War. In this context, human beings live, in total decay, and filth seems to permeate people, and collapse seems imminent.

Todo esto encaja en una animación de unas 2 horas, con mucha acción, violencia y sangre, para los más atrevidos; ciertamente no es una animación infantil. El look deja aún más la marca en la película, son escenas icónicas mezcladas con el estilo de cyberpunk, todo esto te hará pensar durante horas después del final de la película, agitando tu mente y abriendo nuevos caminos de visión en tu sociedad. La trama está ambientada en Neo-Tokio, en el año futurista 2019. Esta ciudad de Tokio está rodeada de violencia, sexo y acción, siendo parte de una ciudad reconstruida después de una Tercera Guerra Mundial. En este contexto, los seres humanos viven, en descomposición total, y la suciedad parece impregnarse en las personas, y el colapso parece inminente.

Education, the basis of social growth, does not seem to be present, from teachers to students, everyone is unable to believe in utopia, the only way is to act with violence. Conflicts often occur between politicians and rebellious liberals, who do not approve of the state of the city, so the animation demonstrates all the hatred and power found on both sides.

La educación, la base del crecimiento social, no parece estar presente, de profesores a estudiantes, todo el mundo es incapaz de creer en la utopía, la única manera es actuar con violencia. The whole war seems to have been triggered by a supernatural element, called Akira, an experiment whose location or appearance no one knows. The lack of information generated outrage from the society, which was looking for hope for their life as "garbage kings". The entire plot begins revolving around this milieu of individuals, with supernatural powers that can control society.

The entire plot involves these conflicts between society and the city. The commentaries, particularly deep and psychological, portray this urban environment of seeing life. I also made a theory of opinion, on how to portray the characters in their real sense, which will be presented soon after.

The animation was one of the first factors that surprised me, I simply cannot believe that this work is 1988, and yet be fantastic and current. This is simply because all the graphic work was done by hand, with an absurd color complex, even going so far as to receive awards at the time. And not only that, one of the strong points and impacts of the animation is the soundtrack. Totally elaborate and innovative, it undoubtedly surprised the audience of the time, just as it has its impotence today.

La animación fue uno de los primeros factores que me sorprendió, simplemente no puedo creer que esta obra es 1988, y sin embargo ser fantástico y actual. Esto se debe simplemente a que todo el trabajo gráfico se hizo a mano, con un complejo de colores absurdo, incluso llegando a recibir premios en ese momento. Y no solo eso, uno de los puntos fuertes e impactos de la animación es la banda sonora. Totalmente elaborado e innovador, sin duda sorprendió a la audiencia de la época, así como tiene su impotencia hoy en día.

It is undoubtedly a fantastic and surreal work of art, with elements that will make you think for hours about its meaning. I highly recommend this animation, it is all Japanese culture showing its importance and its impotence when it comes to showing a differentiated plot.

Es sin duda una obra de arte fantástica y surrealista, con elementos que te harán pensar durante horas sobre su significado. Recomiendo encarecidamente esta animación, es toda la cultura japonesa mostrando su importancia y su impotencia a la hora de mostrar una trama diferenciada.
