This account is tracking the number of users on each level using the stats supplied by @arcange. It has been a while since the last check. In nearly 3 weeks we have ten less minnows, but over thirty more dolphines. Some of those are former orcas, but we have gained a whale too.
We still think it is important to get far more of the 'redfish' accounts levelled up so they have more of a stake in the #Steem game. To that end we are voting up posts by a selection of users. This account has a few thousand SP thanks to some delegations and others follow its voting trail using SteemAuto. You can join us to get more people levelled up sooner.
The @tenkminnows account should get to minnow status itself early next year at the current rate and there are no plans to power it down. All rewards of this post will be powered up.
At the current Steem price you can get from nothing to minnow for $92.50. That seems a bargain if you can afford it. That gives you nearly 1c of vote that you can give ten times each day if you want it to recover. You will earn a little from curation as you do that. Just be sure to vote on posts, and possibly comments, that earn at least 2c or the rewards do not pay out. We do not want votes to be wasted.
Using automated voting is likely to be most efficient at earning curation rewards as you can optimise the timing, but it is up to you.
