[Movie] Animals (2026)
Last night I watched Animals, which is kind of new on Netflix, as it was released on the 9th of this month. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a new release hunter, I'm ok with older movies and series, but as I was scrolling t…

I'm not entirely sure, but I think this is my first Dutch movie, series. Lately I've turned to European, West Asia and Middle East movies as first of all, I'm fed up with Hollywood and want to explore other options. Sca…

[Movie] Labor Day (2013)

Labor Day is definitely not the movie I would normally watch, if I have read the storyline, but this was an accident that I don't regret. This morning, while charting and testing something, this movie was starting on on…

[Movie] Collateral (2004)

Last night, while browsing Netflix's offer, I came across this movie and based on the short description the platform offers viewers and the short video clip that is meant to give you an appetite to watch, I decided to g…

[TV] Post Mortem: No One Dies in Skarnes

For this, I am to blame and I know it. Somehow I think all Scandinavian movies and series are top quality in every regard. The truth is, I've seen quite a few, all good and have read Jo Nesbo's books, plus the movies ma…

[TV] The Deep State

Not that it's planned, but it looks like I'm progressing in watching movies from countries I've never have before. Not long ago it was the Indian series called Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War a…

[Movie] After the Sunset (2004)

As I see, Netflix likes to list older movies as well, from time to time, especially from 2000 and around, as there are from after WW2 too, but those are a different category. I like to watch those from the 2000's as the…

[TV] 10.5

This movie was again a coincidence as I'm no a huge fan of the genre. In my opinion all these catastrophe movies are kind of the same, the execution and the actors make the difference, but the action is not much differe…

[TV] Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War (2026)

Please don't laugh! 😆 I'm trying hard not to as well, but it's not easy. Me and this series? Yes, really weird, you can even label me, but hear me out first. The whole thing started with Netflix listing it as "Recently…

[Movie] Without Saying Goodbye (2022) · Hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar

This is a movie I rewatched recently. It happens sometimes to watch a movie twice, because it's good, or because I've forgotten that I've seen it before. This latter case is a bit of a shame, but it means the movie wasn…

[Book] Jo Nesbo - Rat Island and Other Stories (2021) - Rotteøya og andre fortellinger

It's the first time I'm reviewing a book on chain, but not the last one. Reviewing books is not my thing, but this is a very good one and there's another one I want to write about, when time comes. That's not a novel, s…

[TV] Dynasty (2017–2022)

This series is categorized as drama and soap opera on IMDB. Drama yes, but soap opera is definitely not what I usually watch, so this is definitely a huge exception for me. The reason I started watching it was because I…

[TV] Young Wallander (2020 - 2022)

[TV] Elite Force · GIGN (2026)

This is maybe a first for me, but definitely not the last. I like action movies, but can't stand those made in the US anymore. Unfortunately this genre took a turn and went in a direction I can't stand anymore. When the…

[Movie] Death On The Nile (2022)

Let me start with a confession. I'm a huge fan of Agatha Christie's novels and the adaptations of her novels. Based on this confession most likely it's not a surprise that I've seen all the adaptations and know all the…

[Movie] The Thursday Murder Club (2025)

Today I'm back with another review and I'd like to share my opinion about a movie I watched twice last week. Yes, it happens to rewatch a movie, but not very often. It's fair to mention right at the beginning, that The…

[Movie] The Bucket List (2007)

This is not a new movie, next year is going to make 20 years, but that doesn't take away anything from its value. It's been more than a decade since I watched it, but I'll never forget it, that's for sure. I remember I…
