Hello all anime fans, I hope you are doing great today... this time I want to share with you all a new review, this time I will talk about a sports anime I watched some time ago, and it was one of the first spokon anime I watched, and it really captivated me, recently I watched it again to remember it with nostalgia, and I want to tell you a little bit about it, today I will talk about the anime: Days. This is an anime that I found quite unique and different, I consider it to be quite a ride full of laughs, many emotional moments, and well, a little bit of frustration too, haha... the story follows Tsukamoto, a boy who honestly has no talent for soccer, and when I say nothing, is nothing, his physique is very regular and has no athletic qualities of any kind, but his determination is something else, wow, it is impossible not to admire his mentality of never giving up..
From the very first chapter you can see how hard he tries to keep up with his other teammates, he decides to join Seiseki's soccer team... this team is the best in the school, and this is where the anime really differentiates itself from another, Seiseki is not the typical mediocre team looking for glory, they are already the best and have won many tournaments, that gives a somewhat interesting twist to the whole dynamic and plot. It's as if the anime wanted to show us how hard it is to stay on top, and how this can be a big challenge too... I felt it very fresh because of that, one of the things that caught me from the beginning was the dynamics of the whole team. Although the series doesn't go too deep into the personal stories of the players, I must say that each one has a well defined personality and brings his own, we will meet Mizuki, the captain, who is a born leader with a really contagious energy.. we also obviously have to mention Kazama, Tsukamoto's friend, and the reason why he ends up joining the team, he is a really talented guy that doesn't seem to take anything seriously...
There are also other players who contribute their own and make the team dynamic interesting... I like how together they try to complement Tsukamoto's weaknesses and help him grow, I quite liked that, they don't humiliate or reject him because of his lack of talent, but on the contrary they try to support him as much as they can.. that's something super sporty that I loved, I wish many teams were like that... I like the idea that each player is like a piece of a puzzle that at the beginning doesn't seem to fit and that little by little it works and they end up building something incredible.
Hola a todos fanáticos del anime, espero que hoy estén super bien.. dn esta ocasión quiero compartirles a todos ustedes una nueva reseña, esta vez hablaré de un anime de deportes que vi hace algún tiempo, y fue uno de los primeros animes spokon que vi, y realmente me cautivó, recientemente lo volví a ver para recordarlo con nostalgia, y quiero hablarles un poco de el, hoy les hablaré del anime: Days. Este es un anime que me resultó bastante único y diferente, yo considero que es todo un paseo lleno de risas, muchos momentos emotivos, y bueno, un poquito de frustración también, jaja.. la historia sigue a Tsukamoto, un chico que honestamente no tiene nada de talento para el fútbol, y cuando digo nada, es nada, su físico es muy regular y no tiene cualidades atléticas de ningún tipo, pero su determinación es otra cosa, wow, es imposible no admirar su mentalidad de nunca rendirse..
Desde el primer capítulo puedes ver lo mucho que se esfuerza por mantenerse al ritmo de sus otros compañeros, él decide unirse al equipo de fútbol de Seiseki.. este equipo es el mejor de la escuela, y aquí es donde el anime realmente se diferencia de otro, Seiseki no es el típico equipo mediocre que busca la gloria, ellos ya son los mejores y han ganado muchos torneos, eso le da un giro algo interesante a toda la dinámica y a la trama. Es como si el anime quisiera mostrarnos lo difícil que es mantenerse en la cima, y cómo esto puede ser un gran desafío también.. yo lo sentí muy fresco por eso, una de las cosas que me atraparon desde el principio fue la dinámica de todo el equipo. Aunque la serie no profundiza mucho en las historias personales de los jugadores, debo decir que cada uno tiene una personalidad bien definida y que aporta lo suyo, conoceremos a Mizuki, el capitán, el cual es un líder nato con una energía realmente contagiosa.. también obviamente tenemos que mencionar a Kazama, el amigo de Tsukamoto, y la razón por la cual termina uniéndose al equipo, él es un chico realmente talentoso que no parece tomarse nada en serio..
También hay otros jugadores que aportan lo suyo y hacen que la dinámica del equipo sea interesante.. me gusta cómo juntos intentan complementar las debilidades de Tsukamoto y lo ayudan a crecer, eso me gustó bastante, no se humillan ni lo rechazan por su falta de talento, sino que al contrario intentan apoyarlo lo más que puedan.. eso es algo súper deportivo que me encantó, ojalá muchos equipos fueran así.. me gusta la idea de que cada jugador es como una pieza de un rompecabezas que al principio no parece encajar y que poco a poco va funcionando y terminan construyendo algo increíble.

I like how the little details of the characters during the matches reveal a lot about their personalities and how they carry themselves on the field, for example, the way Mizuki, the captain, keeps calm under pressure and always tries to support his teammates was great to me.. it's also good to see Kazama, who although seems carefree, proves to be a key player in the most critical moments. Now, being honest, I have to tell you that Tsukamoto might not be many people's favorite character, his personality can be a bit frustrating at times.. he's a guy that many would see as whiny, clumsy and at certain moments made me want to yell at him: Get your act together, man!
But at the same time it's impossible not to love him, there's something so pure in his effort and how he inspires others that you end up forgiving him everything... I understand that for some viewers Tsukamoto can be a bit hopeless, it's quite normal, but I think what makes this kid special is that he doesn't try to be perfect or become the best player overnight, we see his growth gradually and that makes everything feel much more realistic. It's impossible for a guy who had no experience in soccer before to suddenly become the best or perfectly support his teammates, it's a clear example that when you start things are never easy... but the courage to not give up is the most important thing of all.
Hablando un poco de los partidos, me parecieron geniales, siempre aportan cierta intensidad.. uno de los mejores momentos, y de los más emocionantes, es el partido contra Sakuragi High School, literalmente me dejó al borde del asiento.. la forma en la que capturan toda la tensión, las estrategias y las emociones de los jugadores es increíble, pero al mismo tiempo no se siente como un anime que glorifique el deporte en sí, no todo realmente gira en torno al fútbol.. la serie se enfoca también en las relaciones, los desafíos personales y cómo el equipo funciona como un todo. Me gusta cómo los pequeños detalles de los personajes durante los partidos revelan mucho de su personalidad y de la manera en la que se desenvuelven en el campo, por ejemplo, la forma en la que Mizuki, el capitán, mantiene la calma bajo presión e intenta siempre apoyar a sus compañeros me resultó genial.. también es bueno ver a Kazama, que aunque parece despreocupado, demuestra ser un jugador clave en los momentos más críticos. Ahora, siendo honesto, debo decirles que Tsukamoto no podría ser el personaje favorito de muchos, su personalidad puede ser un poco frustrante a veces.. es un chico que muchos verían como llorón, torpe y en ciertos momentos me daban ganas de gritarle: ¡Ponte las pilas, hombre!
Pero al mismo tiempo es imposible no quererlo, hay algo tan puro en su esfuerzo y en cómo inspira a los demás que terminas perdonándole todo.. entiendo que para algunos espectadores Tsukamoto puede ser un poco desesperante, es bastante normal, pero yo creo que lo que hace especial a este chico es que no intenta ser perfecto ni convertirse en el mejor jugador de la noche a la mañana, sino que vemos su crecimiento de manera gradual y eso hace que todo se sienta mucho más realista. Es imposible que un chico que no tenía ningún tipo de experiencia en el fútbol antes de repente se vuelva el mejor o apoye de manera perfecta a sus compañeros, es un claro ejemplo de que cuando comienzas las cosas nunca son fáciles.. pero el valor de no rendirse es lo más importante de todo.
What left me a bit sad is that the anime doesn't adapt the whole manga, and it doesn't look like there will be a second season, since the first one was released years ago, it's like they leave you wanting more just when you are completely hooked.... the story has so many particular threads that I can't help but imagine the possibilities, but since I'm not a person who likes to read manga a lot, it seems like that story will remain unfinished for me, but hey, I for one would have loved to see how the individual trajectories of the supporting players developed, Oshiba, with his inexhaustible energy, could have had an arc where he surely faced his own physical limits. It would also be interesting to see Kimishita, whose insecurity in his role as a playmaker could have provided some impressive moments of self-improvement.. and obviously I can't help but think how the relationship between Tsukamoto and Kazama could have been expanded much more.. while already an endearing friendship, I feel there was room to show more meaningful moments between them, perhaps facing challenges together off the pitch, even a glimpse into their personal lives would have been a great addition to better understand their motivations and how soccer brings them together.
Luckily, at least there are some ovas that continue the story a bit, so if you want with want more, you can seek it out.. but being honest, I can't help but wish there was a second season, I think with so many narrative possibilities, I feel Days barely scratched the surface of what could have been a much more memorable experience. As for the visuals.. I thought it looked decent, it's not the most spectacular soccer anime you'll see.. but in terms of animation, especially in the matches, everything is pretty average.. I was hoping for a bit more fluidity, truth be told, but I feel like the music complements perfectly and makes up for all the previous flaws. The themes that play during key moments really get you into the whole atmosphere and make the scenes even more memorable, sometimes a good soundtrack can elevate an entire series, and I think that happens here.. the two openings that this series has I quite liked.. I think they can resonate with many people, as if you look up the lyrics you can see that it is very inspirational and goes perfectly with the dynamics of teamwork and perseverance.
Lo que me dejó un poco triste es que el anime no adapta a todo el manga, y no parece que vaya a haber una segunda temporada, ya que la primera se estrenó hace ya años, es como si te dejaran con ganas de más justo cuando estás completamente enganchado.. la historia tiene tantos hilos particulares que no puedo evitar imaginar las posibilidades, pero como no soy una persona que le gusta mucho leer manga, parece que esa historia quedará inconclusa para mí, pero bueno, a mí por ejemplo me hubiera encantado ver cómo se desarrollaban las trayectorias individuales de los jugadores secundarios, Oshiba, con su energía inagotable, podría haber tenido un arco donde seguramente enfrentara sus propios límites físicos. También sería interesante ver a Kimishita, cuya inseguridad en su papel de creador de juego podría haber dado momentos de superación impresionantes.. y obviamente no puedo dejar de pensar en cómo podría haberse expandido mucho más la relación entre Tsukamoto y Kazama.. aunque ya es una amistad entrañable, siento que había espacio para mostrar momentos más significativos entre ellos, quizás enfrentando juntos retos fuera del campo de juego, incluso un vistazo a sus vidas personales habría sido un gran complemento para entender mejor sus motivaciones y cómo el fútbol los une.
Por suerte, al menos hay unas ovas que continúan un poco la historia, así que si quieren con ganas de más, pueden buscarla.. pero siendo honesto, no puedo evitar desear que hubiera una segunda temporada, creo que con tantas posibilidades narrativas, siento que Days apenas rascó la superficie de lo que podría haber sido una experiencia mucho más memorable. En cuanto a los aspectos visuales.. me pareció decente, no es el anime más espectacular de fútbol que verás.. pero en términos de animación, especialmente en los partidos, todo está muy normal.. esperaba un poco más de fluidez, la verdad, pero siento que la música complementa perfectamente y compensa todos los fallos anteriores. Los temas que suenan durante los momentos claves realmente te meten en todo el ambiente y hacen que las escenas sean aún más memorables, a veces una buena banda sonora puede elevar una serie entera, y eso creo que pasa aquí.. los dos openings que tiene esta serie me gustaron bastante.. creo que pueden resonar con muchas personas, ya que si buscan las letras podrán ver que es muy inspiradora y va perfectamente con la dinámica del trabajo en equipo y la perseverancia.
I recommend this anime if you are looking for a light and entertaining sports anime, it is not the deepest or revolutionary spokon, but it has a charm that makes it special... if you are one of those people who like to see stories of overcoming, teamwork, and characters that are growing little by little, Days is definitely worth it for you. Although I feel it's not perfect, it has a huge heart, as much as our protagonist's, and this is not something that all anime can boast, if you're a fan of motivational stories where the protagonist is reaching his goal little by little, you can feel extremely inspired, just like me... my rating for this anime is an 8/10.
I loved the energy of the whole team, Tsukamoto's determination, and the excitement of the matches... although the animation could have been better, and a better development of the secondary characters would have been awesome, even with all that, I enjoyed it quite a lot. Les recomiendo este anime si están buscando ver un anime de deportes ligero y entretenido, no es el spokon más profundo ni revolucionario, pero tiene un encanto que lo hace especial.. si eres de aquellas personas que te gusta ver historias de superación, trabajos en equipo, y personajes que van creciendo poco a poco, Days definitivamente vale la pena para ti. Aunque siento que no es perfecto, tiene un corazón enorme, tanto como el de nuestro protagonista, y esto no es algo de lo que todos los animes pueden presumir, si eres fanático de las historias motivacionales en las que el protagonista va alcanzando su objetivo poco a poco, puedes sentirte sumamente inspirado, al igual que yo.. mi calificación para este anime es un 8/10.
Me encantó la energía de todo el equipo, la determinación de Tsukamoto, y la emoción de los partidos.. aunque la animación podría haber sido mejor, y un mejor desarrollo de los personajes secundarios fuera sido increíble, aún con todo eso, lo disfruté bastante. The Bad: I think this whole story could be a movie and not a series, although I could be wrong since the series format helps give depth to the characters. It tries to find bad things but this was the only thing that came to mind.
