Hello to the entire community! I hope you're all well and have a nice day. Before presenting this brief review or recommendation, I'd like to let you know that I appreciate any feedback to improve the quality of each post and be able to present you with better content every day.
Today, I'm here with a recommendation and review of a very beautiful anime (in my opinion), since from my perspective, it's one of those rare anime that purifies one's soul...
This anime is a Shojo/Romance series. Its anime adaptation premiered around 2024. It currently has 12 episodes (the manga has many more) and can be found on platforms like Crunchyroll.

SYNOPSIS / SUMMARY:
The life of Yuki, a deaf college student, is about to take a turn when she meets young Itsuomi, a boy who, despite being fluent in several languages, doesn't speak Japanese Sign Language. Itsuomi immediately takes an interest in Yuki and wants to learn sign language and, above all, enter its world. Signs of Affection is a love story about the need for communication, learning about differences, and empathy.
YUKI'S RESILIENCE:
In the story, we are introduced to Yuki Itose, a university student who has been deaf since birth. However, this doesn't hinder her, as she is always cheerful and full of life. Despite facing certain situations in which she feels limited, she never loses her own light.
She is one of the most endearing characters in the story, as she always conveys sensitivity and maintains a very healthy and pure way of thinking. This is a positive thing and makes you empathize with the protagonist because she always strives constantly despite these communication "barriers." You could say (and as I mentioned in my statement for this point) that she is a very good example of resilience.
ITSUOMI, A DIFFERENT WAY OF SEEING THE WORLD:
Later, we meet Itsuomi Nagi, a young college student who, unlike Yuki, doesn't have any disabilities. Itsuomi is characterized by being a person who knows different parts of the world, and therefore has knowledge of different languages and cultures. This point is very important because, even though he meets many people, he isn't afraid to communicate with others. He has very good intentions, always conveying confidence and respect without discriminating or belittling others.
And this is where he meets our protagonist. Seeing that she is deaf, Itsuomi isn't afraid or uncomfortable approaching her. Something very important is that despite "knowing everyone," he learns a lot from Yuki. Besides learning sign language, he also learns something very important: the value of Yuki's silent world.
IN LOVE... SILENCE IS NO OBSTACLE TO COMMUNICATION:
This isn't the only anime that touches on the subject of deafness. This plot shows us how a person like Yuki finds Itsuomi and completely changes their world. Neither of them sees deafness as an obstacle to getting to know each other. Itsuomi makes the choice to learn this new language, since despite visiting several countries and learning a little bit about each place, he never expected that the real world he wanted to explore would be so close to him.
While the plot doesn't have many dramatic moments or twists, the gradual construction of this new bond (Relationship) always develops into a healthy one, all based on respect, patience, and tenderness, demonstrating that true love is built little by little with simple gestures or details that are deeply meaningful to the other person. This relationship, despite being a different kind of romance, teaches us that every glance or action the protagonists share is worth more than a thousand dialogues they might have.
DETAILS TO HIGHLIGHT AND WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED:
- The protagonists' romance is usually slow, tender, and very human; it doesn't become a rushed cliché. The relationship is well-based on respect (a very healthy relationship, as I mentioned earlier).
- This animation maintains a delicate and soft style, with much of it filled with pastel tones that convey the peace and warmth of the two protagonists themselves. NOTE: I haven't had a chance to read the manga yet since I have other readings pending, but I like that the covers remain the same, with that delicate style and soft tones.
- The characters' emotions and feelings, and how they convey them, are carefully animated, showing every detail and giving us a sense of how each one must feel according to the plot. Aside from that, the animators had a new task to work with: the sign language Yuki uses to communicate. These details are also captured, appropriately contributing to the portrayal of her disability. From my perspective, I would say these details add realism to the plot.
On an auditory level, we can notice a very light and aural soundtrack that accompanies each significant moment in a tender way. It provides a relaxing atmosphere.
Something that caught my attention is that they tell us a little about the supporting characters (even how the secondary couple, who are friends of the protagonists, is formed). There are animes that focus so much on the protagonists that they tend to leave the other characters aside, but this isn't the case, as even they manage to contribute a certain part of the plot without it being perceived as a "filler episode."
Personally, I highly recommend watching this anime because it doesn't just talk about a disability, but also about love handled differently, and how deafness and anything else that can happen doesn't stop two people from loving each other in a way as healthy and pure as these protagonists. This anime is one of the "Green Flags" I've ever read; the love they have for each other is something very beautiful.
So, if you're interested in romance or shojo anime, I highly recommend this anime if you haven't seen it yet (and if you have, let me know which part you like the most).

El día de hoy vengo con una recomendación y opinión de un anime muy bonito (A mi parecer), ya que desde mi perspectiva son de esos pocos animes que le purifican el alma a uno...
Este anime es de genero Shojo / Romance. Y fue estrenado en su adaptación al anime alrededor del año 2024. Actualmente cuenta con 12 episodios (En el manga son mucho más) y lo pueden encontrar en plataformas como Crunchyroll.

SINOPSIS / RESUMEN:
La vida de Yuki, una universitaria con sordera, va a dar un vuelco cuando en su camino se cruce el joven Itsuomi, un muchacho que, a pesar de dominar varios idiomas, no conoce la lengua de signos japonesa. Itsuomi se interesa enseguida en Yuki y desea aprender la lengua de signos y, sobre todo, entrar en el mundo de ella. Signos de afecto es una historia de amor sobre la necesidad de la comunicación, sobre el aprendizaje de las diferencias y sobre la empatía.
LA RESILIENCIA DE YUKI:
En la trama nos presentan a Yuki Itose, una estudiante que se encuentra en la universidad que es sorda de nacimiento, sin embargo eso no es impedimento para ella ya que siempre se encuentra alegre y llena de vida; a pesar de enfrentarse a ciertas situaciones en la cual se encuentra limitada, ella no pierde su propia luz.
Es uno de los personajes más tiernos dentro de la trama, ya que siempre transmite sensibilidad y mantiene una forma de pensar muy sana y pura. Esto es algo bueno y te hace empatizar mucho con la protagonista debido a que siempre se esfuerza constantemente a pesar de estas "barreras" de comunicación, se puede decir (Y como lo menciono en mi enunciado para este punto) es un muy buen claro ejemplo de la resiliencia.
ITSUOMI, UNA MANERA DISTINTA DE VER EL MUNDO:
Posteriormente conocemos a Itsuomi Nagi, es un joven tambien universitario, que a diferencia de Yuki no tiene discapacidad alguna. Itsuomi se caracteriza mucho por ser una persona que conoce diversas partes del mundo, por ende tiene conocimiento de diversos idiomas y cultura, este punto es muy importante ya que al conocer a muchas personas no tiene miedo de comunicarse con los demás. Es una persona que tiene muy buenas intenciones, siempre transmite seguridad y respeto sin discriminar o minimizar a lo demás.
Y aquí es donde conoce a nuestra protagonista, al ver que ella es una persona sorda, Itsuomi no tiene miedo ni incomodidad el acercarse a ella; algo muy importante es que a pesar de que "conoce a todo el mundo", aprende mucho con Yuki, muy aparte de aprender el lenguaje de señas, aprende algo muy importante... lo valioso del mundo silencioso de Yuki.
EN EL AMOR... EL SILENCIO NO ES IMPEDIMENTO PARA LA COMUNICACIÓN:
Se sabe que este no es el único anime que toca este tema de la sordera, esta trama nos enseña como una persona como lo es Yuki encuentra a Itsuomi y cambia el mundo de los dos por completo. Ambos no toman la sordera como un impedimento para conocerse, Itsuomi toma por decisión propia el aprender este nuevo idioma, ya que a pesar de conocer varios países y conocer un poco de todo de cada lugar, nunca se esperó que el verdadero mundo por conocer se encontraba muy cerca de él.
Si bien la trama no tiene muchos momentos o giros dramáticos, la construcción que surge poco a poco de este nuevo vínculo (Relación), siempre se vaya en una relación sana, todo en base al respeto, paciencia y ternura, demostrando que un verdadero amor se construye poco a poco con gestos o detalles sencillos pero muy profundos para la otra persona. Esta relación a pesar de ser un romance diferente nos enseña que cada mirada o acción que tienen entre los protagonistas vale más que mil diálogos que puedan tener.
DETALLES A DESTACAR Y QUE PUDO MEJORAR:
- El romance de los protagonistas suele ser pausado, tierno y muy humano, no llega a ser un cliché muy apresurado, la relación se basa muy bien en el respeto (Una relación muy sana como lo mencioné anteriormente).
- Esta animación mantiene un estilo delicado y suave, gran parte de la animación se encuentra lleno de tonos pasteles que transmiten esa paz y calidez de la misma pareja de ambos protagonistas. NOTA: Aún no tengo oportunidad de leer el manga ya que tengo otras lecturas pendientes, pero me agrada que las portadas se mantengan de igual forma, con ese estilo delicado y tonos suaves.
- Las emociones y sentimientos de los personajes y como lo transmiten se encuentra cuidadosamente animado, mostrando cada detalle y dándonos a entender como se debe sentir cada uno de acuerdo a la trama. Aparte de eso, los animadores tuvieron un nuevo trabajo aparte de ello, que es el lenguaje de señas con el que se comunica Yuki, de igual forma se rescatan estos detalles, le aportan de una manera adecuada a la representación de su discapacidad. Desde mi perspectiva podría decir que estos detalles le aportan realismo a la trama.
A nivel auditivo, podemos observar una banda sonora muy ligera y auditiva que acompaña cada momento significativo de manera tierna. Nos brindan una atmosfera relajante.
Algo que me llamó la atención es que nos cuentan un poco de los personajes secundarios (Incluso como se arma la pareja secundaria que son amigos de los protagonistas), hay animes en el que se enfocan tanto con los protagonistas que suelen dejar a los demás personajes de lado, pero este no es el caso ya que incluso ellos logran aportar cierta parte de la trama sin que se perciba como un "capitulo de relleno".
En lo personal, recomiendo mucho el ver este anime ya que no sólo hablan de una discapacidad, sino que habla de un amor como se lleva de manera diferente y como la sordera y cualquier cosa que puede ocurrir no es impedimento para que dos personas se quieran de una forma tan sana y pura como estos protagonistas. Este anime es uno de los "Green flags" que pude leer, el amor que se tienen es algo muy bonito.
Así que si te llama la atención animes de romance o Shojos te recomiendo un montón este anime en caso no lo hayas visto (Y si lo viste comentame cual es la parte que más te gusta).
