Have a great day everyone in my favorite #Hive community, #MoviesAndTVShows. November is coming to an end, so I want to share with you a couple more recommendations before we start talking about Christmas movies next month. Today I want to tell you about the series All the Light We Cannot See.
This is a relatively short series, it only has 4 chapters and each one is impeccably done, it leaves nothing to be expected and everything is extremely clear in the course of each of its episodes.
It has a cast with extraordinary actors, of which I was enchanted with all of them, especially with the villains and of course I was stunned by the performance given by Mark Ruffalo and their co-stars.
**Source** But what is the series about and why do I recommend it? Well, to give you a description of the series without making unnecessary spoilers, I would like to give you the synopsis of the site SensaCine, which explains it as follows:
Set in World War II France, All the Light We Cannot See tells the parallel stories of a French girl and a German boy. The young French girl, Marie-Laure, suffers from blindness and she and her father escaped Paris when the Nazis arrived.
His father, a worker at the Museum of Natural History, gets a precious jewel that they have to keep. Werner, the young German, is an orphaned radio expert, having taught himself everything he knows. Werner is enlisted to use all his knowledge to defeat the French Resistance. Their paths will cross in a terrible scenario whose mantra is to survive.
**Source** This series is an adaptation of the literary work of the same name, whose author is Anthony Doerr, who is known for his novels and short stories, but with a lot of essence. It should also be noted that this writer has received many recognized literary awards, including a Pulitzer Prize in 2015.
And while some of the film development sites label the Netflix produced series as rather simple, half-hearted, and very flat, I, particularly liked it quite a bit and feel the complete opposite of those people.
**Source** As I have already commented in previous posts within this community, I am a fan of stories that are based on real events or that relate to historical events that marked a before and after the life of mankind.
One of the aspects that I liked the most about the series itself, was its cast. We have characters that with little cinematic appearance, leave a mark in the scenes that cause a certain impact on the viewer and leave it in the mind of the viewer throughout the series.
**Source** We have from our beloved Mark Ruffalo best known as Hulk in The Avengers, as well as the iconic Mark Ruffalo best known as Hulk in The Avengers, as well as the iconic Hugh Laurie, best known for playing the fabulous doctor with the last name of House. I imagine that with that reference you can already have an idea of the quality of the chosen cast.
some villains in this story could not be missing. Those extremist Germans thought they owned the world just because they had a certain power at the time and which they abused it to cover their interests.
**Source** The most outstanding performance of these Germans is focused on the interpretation that gave Lars Eidinger. I was particularly scared because there were scenes where I didn't know what he was capable of. He had these explosive outbursts and some pretty scary psychopathic looks.
I was also delighted with the little girl who played the protagonist at a young age and the interaction she had with Mark Ruffalo in her scenes. She showed a lot of confidence, incredible ease, and fascinating chemistry with the award-winning actor. The girl I simply think was born to be a movie star, so I look forward to seeing her in other productions down the road.
**Source** Now to finish I want to culminate giving my score to the series, for being short, for its plot, the story and the interpretations made, as well as the scenery, the explosion scenes and the atmosphere developed, I give it a 9/10 or ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5. What makes it to be in my list of favorite series of Netflix.
The series in turn has many phrases that leave a quite deep teaching and appreciation of life, it seems to me that it is a delivery that will leave you something beautiful after watching it. It is one of those stories where hope, love, and justice prevail in the face of any adversity. I can only tell you that it is from me:
